i asked her and she said it wouldn't hurt the baby..i guess theres alot of different opinions out there. what happens if you don't clear up a yeast infection with medicine? besides if you have it at delivery the baby can get thrush...can it cause any other problems?

So I bought another package of the off brand cream that is for 7 days and o used it for 2 extra nights and it worked. Just make sure when u use any yeast infection medicine, put it in right before u are about to go to sleep so it can't come out that easy.

They give you medicine/antibiotics. There's also naturopathic medicine for it, but I suggest talking to a doctor.

Anyone have any advice? I have a yeast infection and my Dr told me monsitat is safe to take so I bought the oral capulase and took it then thought after maybe that isn't safe and I should have got the suppository kind. with a lil bit of discharge for the past 2 months. After the first month passed i went to the doctor and she told me i had a yeast infection. I took the medicine, got a lil bit of relief but it never went away. I went to the doc again the other day and got some medicine. Its been 2 days since i took the meds and i still dont feel any relief. Could this be a yeast infection or somthing else ?

Yesterday I was diagnosed with a yeast infection and the doctor gave me a Diflucan (sp?) pill which I took around 4pm. Today, I noticed the one scratch/cut I had was gone but the area around it seemed dry and flaky.
