Avatar m tn Joint pain is a common symptom. Then it gets worse with treatment... at least it did for me, but the Ibuprofen does pretty much take care of it. Just be careful to not take too much.

Avatar n tn Sounds like you work for UPS or something - that's a tough job! I have a lot of joint pain and, for me, the only OTC med that helps is liquid gel Advil. Be careful though, my doctor told me that ibuprofen can kill your kidneys. I hope you find relief.
1546374 tn?1293649956 What can aleviate my muscle and joint pain most effectively? And please do not say Tylenol or Aleve. This pain is too severe and debilitating. I also am having trouble with weight gain.
Avatar n tn For the past year or so my joints have been giving me increasing trouble and pain. The pain has been primarily in the hips, ankles, right big toe, shoulder, behind the knees, and hands. I am a 39 year old male and I feel like I am 60! the strange part is that the pain in the hands is aggrevated by turning door handles and gripping items (I get pain and a grinding sensation like the joints are moving)...it doesn't happen every time but at least a couple of times a day.
Avatar m tn I have been having joint pain and tremors due to wellbutrin.
Avatar m tn Sometimes it is necessary to find a way to differentiate pain radiating from the hip joint and pain radiating from the lower back or abdomen. To accomplish this, the hip can be injected with a steroid and analgesic. If the pain is coming from the hip joint, the injection provides the patient with pain relief and confirms the diagnosis of hip pain. Once this is established, proper imaging can be performed to better understand how to provide relief.
Avatar m tn My wife aged 39 is suffering from BP for the last 4 years and taking medicine since then. In the last 1 year she is having constant headache (not forehead) and leg pain (joints and muscles). Though we consulted many doctors, nodbody could diagnose it properly and give medication. Please give some advice.
Avatar f tn About 3 weeks ago I started experiencing joint pain out of nowhere (elbows, knees, ankles, hips). That night I had a low grade fever of 100.8 which only lasted until the next day. The joint pain worsened over the next few days but then seemed to subside except now my wrist, hands and fingers were hurting so badly that I could barely move them. This pain in my hands lasted for several days.
501944 tn?1224056021 Do you have problems with fatigue and/or joint pain? Did you have these symptoms before taking 6mp and how did 6mp affect these symptoms. Thanks for answering my questions.
Avatar f tn He agreed that I had hyper flexibility but thought that my pain was more physical than autoimmune, despite the fact that the anti-inflammatory medicines, cortisone shot, and physical therapy did nothing at all to help ease my pain. More so, I periodically take prescription pain medicine for my back (I have scoliosis) and the pain medicine also did not help my joint pain. My latest lab results came back fine and I have currently been on medication for Fibromyalgia.
Avatar m tn NEVER ALLOW A DOCTOR TO INSERT A PAIN PUMP CATHETER INTO YOUR SHOULDER JOINT SPACE DURING SURGERY FOR POST OP PAIN RELIEF .
Avatar n tn Well without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your pain. Muscle/ joint pain could result from a variety of conditions including infections, inflammations, degenerations, trauma, a few autoimmune conditions, neural issues, hormonal/ endocrine causes, micronutrient deficiencies, side effect of a few medications or drugs etc.
Avatar f tn Hi, I have a question. For months and months I've been having minor pain in the smallest joint on my fourth finger on my right hand. Because I work seven days a week during the school year, I never saw the doctor. But it started getting worse. It hurts, if my fist is closed, to bump the knuckle from above. It also hurts to stretch my fingers out (laying flat is okay, but if I try to stretch them at all, it hurts).
Avatar m tn I also have started having sharp pains in the back and the left knee has had some joint pain not severe but its there . Do you think I am on the right track ? Will the allupurinal help with the pain? and how quick? should i continue on the nsaids?
Avatar f tn I am 29 years old and for a while now I have been suffering with major feet and hand pain. My feet kill me as soon as I get out of bed or I am inactive for a while. At times they hurt for days. My hands hurt the same as my feet just not as severe. I have fatigue and no motivation to do anything. I have weight gain and hair loss. I also get kidney stones frequently. I have tested for autoimmune diseases and they came back negative but my CRP was elevated.

WHEN I WENT TO A RHEUMATOLOGIST SHE DID AN RA TEST, BUT CAME BACK NEGATIVE AND SO DID THE X-RAYS. THE STIFFNESS IS IN BOTH HANDS (FINGERS FROM MY HANDS TO KNUCKLES) MY TOES, MY NECK AND BACK.
