Avatar f tn I use Xanax to travel. On Thursday I took a half a xanax to fly, then one on Friday and Saturday. I missed my period on Saturday and took an early pregnancy test (which came back positive) on Sunday and stopped taking Xanax (thus, I stopped at week 4, if I count the date of my last period). Will this harm my baby (actually I am having twins...)? I am currently 9 weeks into my pregnancy.

Avatar f tn You could also have a medic alert to generally make the onlookers more careful in case you throw a seizure during travel. If your seizures are not well controlled despite drugs, you must not travel. If urgent, you must travel with an attendant with your neurologist’s instructions. Hope this helps. Take care.
Avatar f tn I do not believe in taking anything while pregnant even if the doctor says its safe. I am almost 28 weeks and I cracked my tooth months ago by eating a chip, lately its getting to the point where I'm in sooo much pain its shooting pain from my tooth into my temple. it was on the news that Tylenol causes ADHD when taken while pregnant.
Avatar f tn So, I've taken fluconazole when pregnant for yeast infections and it is commonly prescribed during pregnancy and has no pregnancy at the regular dose during the second trimester. During the first, at higher doses of 400 to 800 mg a day, you shouldn't take it but you should be fine now. Flagyl is pregnancy category B. That means it was not shown to affect a fetus in limited studies. It's also pretty commonly given during pregnancy.
Avatar n tn Remember to bring your usual medications and consider bringing an extra prescription as a back-up in the event that you lose your medications. It is a usual practice to bring medications with you to self-treat traveler's diarrhea (azythromycin and ciprofloxacin are commonly prescribed along with immodium). Always carry your prescription medications in your carry-on luggage (in the event that you become separated from your luggage).
Avatar n tn I am 30 years of age and 28 weeks pregnant. This is my second pregnancy the first I lost at 26 weeks baby died after 3 days. I was diagnosed with IC therefore for this second pregnancy I had a cerclage at 13 weeks I have had the cerclage in for 15 weeks now with no complications or thinning. My fiancé and I are planning a 3 hour plane trip and I was wondering if it is safe to travel at this stage? Have anyone had similar experience?
Avatar f tn I've just read some posts where that's happened. I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy, and I'm worried. I just wondered if anyone else had taken these two at the same time while pregnant.
Avatar f tn From tomorrow it will be 8th week of my pregnancy...... But I am planning to visit my parents can I fly?
Avatar f tn I had a bad cold where I would be coughing up phlem for about 3 weeks. I didn't want to take any medications so my boyfriend would make me natural teas and home remedies for me to get better which would consist of lemon, honey, chayanne pepper, and garlic. Not the best taste but I did get better.
794496 tn?1351040555 Air travel is perfectly fine throughout pregnancy, except later into your pregnancy closer to your due date, or if your doctor recommends otherwise. If you do get a BFP, and are pregnant over the course of your travel plans, anything can happen at anytime, but don't think the worse. I'm sure you will be in good hands whether you're in the air traveling or once you get to the west coast and Bulgaria. Go!! plan!! Make your arrangements and enjoy your trip!!!
