Hey all, well i did it, little over 30 days clean and home from rehab. It feels great to be home and back in the swing of things. I am feeling and doing great and last night was the first night i actually slept, i am finally starting to feel good and its a great feeling. I have allot of work to do making amends with the hubby but over all its going great. I already visited my therapist at home and i will be seeing her 2 times a week.
2 in the UK and about to try once more in Valencia/Spain (for the last time I think/hope). Today at our initial consultation the clinic in Valencia said that the reason the embryos did not implant before could be because of poor egg quality in the first place. I was surprised at this since in the past I was told the embryos were of very good quality every time. Of course they were never checked for PGD (Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis) and I never even heard of this test until today.
I am scared, have been thrown out of my home and am losing both my girls. Pregant, no home and need to get back into treatment asap. My question is, does anyone know what the process would be being as I am pregnant? I have state insurance and it paid for my last treatment, but the places aren't that great. I am assuming I am going to be there for a while. Are there rehabs that you can go to if you have no insurance? Does anyone know of any really good ones?
Thanks guys!!! Gosh guys i just love y'all!!!!! I am in rehab/medical detox, and i was put on subutex not suboxone. Basically depending on the individual you usually stay in the detox house for a few days and then you work your way up to the main house at a level one, once you prove that you attend all your sessions and groups show participation then you graduate to a level 2 and thats where you get outside privileges like going to the movies and such, of course supervised.
its the reformers unanimous womens home....its a christian based program. im sooo nervous but excited. has anyone ever been to rehab? any advice? i hope they take care of me when im in there. when i took my subs and stuff and just detoxed at my house, i was in control and if i didnt feel up to doing anything i could just lay in bed. i dont know maybe this will be good for me.its a 6 month program...and i dont wanna be in there the whole time because ill totally miss out on my summer.
It is now November and he is still in a nursing home in Long Term Care unit and not receiving ANY rehab. The reason the home gives is that he has "plateaued". People I have spoken to have said that he should still be receiving therapy. I realize that he is now on medicaid, (he lost his job, home, everything due to this stroke) and is being treated like a second class citizen!! He is getting very depressed. Thank you!
Well I leave Thursdays to do an inpatient detox and rehab. After several surgeries I became dependent on oxycodone 15mg 5xday. When I first realized I was addicted I tried to ct and ended up passing out due to my Bp dropping. Then I decided to taper but my dr stopped that as well because they said I needed to have a 3rd back surgery even tho my last one was in April. I'm not walking correctly, kinda hunched over.
He was able to come off the vent in three days of being in rehab. He has a feeding tube and trach. Since coming home he is doing better. Hospitals will tell you to give up and place your loved one out of site and mind. Let what ever comes next for your dad be your decision. My husband is making progress everyday. The lord has the last say.
And I live in florida and due to thw fact that I had to move I had to transfer from art institute university in miami to valencia community college in orlando . What clasa are you taking online? And are you able to ask questions to the teacher incase you don't undeestand something?
He went to the Brain Injury Rehab Center in Orlando FL and spent 3 weeks there and now he is at home with us and about to start outpatient rehab. With my son his movements started off small and then one day after 2 months he had what they called a brain awakening and started to move more and started to particiapate more with us and the staff.
