Maxalt mlt cost

Common Questions and Answers about Maxalt mlt cost

maxalt

HI, my husband just moved to India for a month and has forgotten his prescription medication in America (Maxalt MLT) Is there anyone who would know what the Indian version of Maxalt MLT would be? I am currently posting from america. I could have it shipped but the cost and everything would take too long.
There could be some other variants that include NSAIDS but you should double check with your Doctor as to which version was prescribed. I agree Maxalt seems to be the better drug especially the MLT version as it gets into the blood stream much quicker. If after few more tries with Imitrex you don't find relief, ask your Doctor for a letter stating you failed to obtain relief with Imitrex and request that your prescription carrier allow you to continue with Maxalt. That should help you.
I had to make special arrangements with our postal carrier when we were expecting delivery of Maxalt Mlt tablets. Of all places, large mail order pharmacy companies could not put 2+2 together and realize they needed to make sure to overnight Maxalt Mlt because otherwise it would sit in the blistering sun all day spoiling the batch and making a critical migraine medication completely useless - and at $40.00 per tablet.
Zomig Nasal Spray (what I use), Zomig-ZMT, Maxalt-MLT and Imitrex Injection (although the Injection Triptans are only prescribed in the most severe cases usually after all other triptans have been tried, so don't ask for the Injection kind). Penn1023 made a great suggestion with the Magnesium, as that is one preventative measure that can be taken to reduce the amount and severity of migraine attacks.
Fast acting triptans are best in my opinion, such as orally disintegrating tablets (Maxalt-MLT or Zomig-ZMT) or nasal sprays (Zomig Nasal Spray or Imitrex Nasal Spray). As for diet... diet does play a huge role in migraines, you are very right. But, it is not only about a healthy diet, although a healthy diet is very important, you are right. Trigger avoidance is another major part of diet when it comes to migraines.
