Avatar n tn It can prevent all sorts of issues even plantar fasciitis. One of the big things that affects foot pain are shoes. How are your cycling shoes? Here's an article, maybe something will ring a bell there too. https://www.cyclingweekly.

850029 tn?1238857820 I'm looking for suggestions. I am a personal care attendant for a young man with Autism. Actually, I do respite and he stays weekends with me every few weeks. I've known the young man and his family for 6 years. Every so often (6 months or so) the young man will seem to cycle like someone with Bipolor might. He seems to just loose all control of what he doing. I am so lucky that the kid is so well behaved that even at his worst, he actually pretty good.
Avatar f tn Hi guys I'm 22 wks and 5 days preggo and I was wondering what are the most comfy shoes to wear while pregnant?
10946054 tn?1417108117 I bought sketchers go walk 2 shoes and they have been great! best pair of shoes I have ever owned and everyone I know who has them say the same.
Avatar f tn My mother in law just informed me I need to get some good shoes while pregnant so that my feet don't expand into a bigger size. I normally just wear toms and ankle boots, don't normally go for anything with good support! Any suggestions?
Avatar f tn Wait until you are absolutely positive that you're having a body if you want to buy gender-specific shoes. I'd wait a couple ultrasounds just to be absolutely positive. Once you really know, buy crib shoes, toddler shoes, man shoes, whatever!
Avatar f tn OMG i cant fit none of my shoes except flip flops and those arent the most comfy and my feet swell up and my ankles hurt lol i just be poking them...
4983320 tn?1378402268 Any recommendations on some comfy tennis shoes for a pregnant lady on her feet all day? My feet have been killing me all week! I know it's a part of pregnancy, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try some better shoes or maybe those insert thingys?
3205586 tn?1362842985 LOL the desire to be taller started when i was in primary school, I was always the smallest kid at school, lol i celebrated reaching 5ft. You know if your a shortie, everything you buy is always too long, so heels of every colour, hight and style are a staple for your wardrobe lol though i'm pretty sure that even with out the mobility issues, i wouldn't wear the sky scraper heels DD and her friends wear, ugg they are deadly.
Avatar f tn Okay so Payless has a sale on the shoes I like! My feet only barely fit one pair of flip flops because they are so so swollen that my ankles are the same thickness as my calves! (Ew cankles!) I was a size 6 before pregnancy. I have 24 days left until my due date, how do I go about buying a size? Should I buy what size I would for before? Or a little bigger because maybe my size won't return completely to normal? Thanks!
Avatar f tn So it will be winter and cold, he has a warm body suit/snow suit for outside but is he supposed to wear shoes underneath that? Obviously he wont be outside for long but i dont want him to get cold and i don't want his feet to get chilly! SO i just wasn't sure.
Avatar f tn is there any particular brand of shoes i can wear to put less stress on my back? i find even when i wear flats walking feels so difficult.
Avatar f tn Ladies what shoes do u wear? Flats sandals or regular shoes.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had experiences with rapid cycling, with cycles that last hours or days? I was extremely hyper and had racing thoughts and was elated the other day, then I felt ok but lazy for a few days, then depressed for a couple of days and super tired, and now I am extremely irritable and I keep getting mad and yelling at people and just about everything.
Avatar f tn I tend to overdo the salt, and friends and family have commented that I have too much - could this cause the problem. I'm obviously abit worried as I know strokes and heart attacks etc often start with this symptom. Any advice?
Avatar n tn Last year the manic part became really out of control and I could not ignore it any longer -- doc says I have rapid cycling, with bouts of mania and depression cycling rapidly throughout the day. I have no particular reason for these feelings, it's just the chemical imbalance in my body. Your best thing would be to see your doctor, keep a journal of your thoughts and report it to him so he can make a correct diagnosis.
573297 tn?1304709140 I got diagnosed by my GP originally as Bipolar II with Rapid Cycling. This new pdoc that my GP referred me to says I am in fact Bipolar I ....so there is no dispute about having the bipolar....just the difference of opinion in which one I am. The pdoc says that normally Bipolar II doesn't cause you to spend all this money.....so... However when I mentioned the rapid cycling he said that was just my personality. First of all, with what has been going on lately....
Avatar m tn any tips on stopping or coming out of rapid cycling episode more than likely already at bottom of spectrum right now, dr just says stick with meds and talking any other tips would be greatly appreciated
Avatar f tn For me getting off Wellbutrin and switching to trazodone helped me sleep and slowed down the cycling. I know know that antidepressants can cause rapid cycling in people bipolar. I am now working part time. The meds are tough sometimes, crazy is tougher. I am doing pretty well considering where I was at. I am not sure if I will ever be able to handle full time but I am glad to have my part-time job. I am no longer frantic about what mood I'll be in.
Avatar m tn Well you might be experiencing rapid cycling now. The highest dose of Lamictal I took was 325 mg. At 600 mg. it might (again only a psychiatrist could make a conclusive judgment) push a person further into mania. Lithium does have a side effect profile like all medications but it is the only medication that was developed specifically for use as a mood stabilizer. There are other options as well regarding mood stabilizers besides lithium and Lamictal of course.
Avatar f tn hi there just wondering how anyone else deals with rapid cycling, I'm talking about being up and in the space of a day I just can't handle this anymore. any advice?
Avatar f tn I've been dx'd with Bipolar II, rapid cycling. My moods are extremely labile and my cycling is what is often called Ultraidian cycling- moods shifting during the day, often blurring into mixed states. Anxiety is always a problem. I also have longer cycles, like depression that can last for a month, months or years. My hypomanic states are usually dysphoric- agitated, irritable, confused racing thoughts- and rarely euphoric.
