According to my doctor, he s quite sure that i am recovering from my bulging disc as I am able to do forward and backward bends without any pain or stretch in my legs
But the irregular cramps/ convulsions are concern even for my doctor. he has asked me to conduct uric acid , vitamin b12 and vitamin d3 test and then make some judgement
But is there anyway I can mail you my report of MRI..

i have herniated disc L-4,L5 L-3 dimenssion 3 mm , I am in my second epidural shot, and I didn't see improvements, actually I feel worse, numbess.

The herniated disc is at T6 and T7.
I am wondering if my titanium disc cages have been defective, in 2000 I had a anterior posterior lumbar fusion with 2 titanium discs placed n my lower back with bone graft. I have been in chronic pain ever since and have had to go to a specialist beery month just to get some relief with medication and injections which I hate. Been on disability ever since and my life is for sure never gonna be the same! Any info would be appreciated!
Had leg and ankle shooting pain, went to orthopedic doc, she ordered an Xray and MRI and I have a L-5 bulging disc. Mild degeneration but no osteoporosis or other findings. Question..........what is the best treatment for this...... I love to walk.... The PT gave me exercises that hurt. Ice and Ibuprofin work great, but don't want to cause stomach problems with prolonged use. What is the very best treatment for this type of injury. I do not know how I did this.....
I had the same thing done in 2004, well unfortunately in the years to follow i did have reoccurent disc herniation in that disc space as well as disc degeneration: L5 S1. So in Dec 07, last resort was to do a fusion and put a fake bone in that disc space and fasten it in my spine w/ rods, screws and a cage. I would go by what the first poster said and try every other conserative treatment out there first. Really: I am serious.

Welcome...How old is this guy? First, you need to google IVDD (Intervertebral Disc/Disk Disease) & read everything you can, so you can understand what is going on.......We're any xrays taken?
Your dog should be in a crate and NOT allowed to do anything for 4-6 weeks while the disk heals...Only carried out to potty and then back in to crate! NO walking, running jumping, etc!

He saw my MRI and diagnosed a bulging disc in L5-S1 with herniation possibility which is pushing spinal nerve root. Also L5-L4 bulging disc . I've been doing physio for 2 months - from May to July. I have recently been diagnosed with a protruding disc between my L4-L5. I have been dealing with this excrutiating pain for over 9 months. just had mri and was told by pa that i had a broken left lumbar disc a piece broke off and have a month wait to see the doctor to get a better explaination. don't want to use another neourologist he did my c3-4 spinal fusion and is the best but i don't really understand what is going on had a fall 3 months ago and the pain had gotten worse over time anti imflamitories aren't working and now i'm up to percocet for pain and that is only taking the edge off.
