about 4 years ago i told i had adjustment disorder. only supposed to be a short term thing. its been 4 years with on agian off agian symptoms, anxiety depression social anxity. what else could it be?

Sounds like you are hyperthyroid. Yes, it definitely is an adjustment. Make sure that you limit the amount of time that you are exposed to the heat, because it can take a toll on you. Keep hydrated and once you get the thyroid under control, you will notice a difference in your tolerance to heat.

what is the adjustment time when first wearing the glasses? I've heard that for traditional line bifocals the adjustment time is pretty quick, but that for progressives it's a bit longer. I'm hoping though that since the add is not too high then adjusting to either would not be such a big deal. Any feedback from wearers of bifocals or progressives would be appreciated.

I try to drive holding the steering wheel at the bottom. Something to do with lifting the arms for that long of a time puts pressure in the neck. I use a c shaped travel pillow. I recline my seat back one notch and actually pull my seat closer to the steering wheel. I make sure I am in a comfortable position and feel safe before I drive away from anywhere. Music helps me cope with pain. If one station isn't working I change to another.
