Avatar f tn The peak left internal carotid systolic velocity 111 cm/sec. The right ICA/CCA velocity ratio is 1.43. The left ICA/CCA velocity ratios 1.06. Mild carotid plaque. What does this mean in patient language?
Avatar n tn I certainly would get another PSA test in 6 months to determine the velocity of increase. A .4 increase in a year could be a sign of regrowth or it is a normal variation in testing error.
Avatar n tn hi im trying to understand my emg results here it is left mediun motor nerve showed prolonged distal onset latency and decreased conduction velocity, peroneal nerve showed reduced amplitude, ulnar seg motor showed decreased amplitude, and decreased conduction velocity. the dorscutan anti sensory and left antebrach cut anti sensory nerve showed prolonged distal peak latency .
Avatar n tn shouldn't mitral A velocity be lower than Mitral E velocity? They seem to be reversed from what I have read....this is abnormal?!
Avatar n tn I'd suggest reducing the masturbation frequency,,,the :"pre ejaculate: doesn;t really "shoot: with any velocity or distance, however, after a period of lack of activity it will particularly in a younger man...at times after frequent masturbation you may be surprised that the velocity and distance increases during intercourse or should your partner assist you by masturbating you to orgasm. dripping pre ejaculate is normal and dripping ejaculate is normal, no problem there..
Avatar m tn 4 cm at the midclavicular line and demonstrates homogeneous echotexture. The main portal vein is patent and demonstrates a systolic flow velocity of 30.9 cm/second. Flow is hepatopetal. I know that the homogenous texture is good, the flow is good, but is the size seems large? Also, is the flow velocity normal?
Avatar n tn Hi, our son had an echocardiogram at less than 48 hrs old due to a murmur and it was found that he has a moderate VSD and small ASD. We are most concerned about the VSD. He will see a cardiologist next week. At this point we don't know the exact size but that is one of our questions. Right now we only spoke with pediatricians. He is 5 days old now. The VSD peak velocity was 2 m/s and VSD peak gradient was 16 mmHg.
Avatar f tn R-us demonstrates irregular echogenic plaque formation. max peak systolic velocity of the common carotid artery is 100 cm/s. max peak systolic velocity of the internal carotid artery is 108 cm/s. max peak systolic velocity of the external carotid artery is 128 cm/s L-demonstrates irregular plaque formaton.
Avatar n tn Median shear wave velocity: 1.65 m/sec Reference values for liver fibrosis: F2: For velocities > 1.34 m/s F3: For velocities > 1.55 m/s F4: For velocities > 1.
Avatar f tn 2 ng/ml a matter of concern, it is the fluctuating levels and the velocity that gives me a bit of uneasiness. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a urologist to consider regrowth/ secondaries (A bone scan may show secondaries) and for appropriate management. Hope this is helpful. Take care!
Avatar f tn you should consider nerve reconstruction..Dr Susan Mackinon out of St.
Avatar n tn The left atrium size can be affected by valvular abnormalities and pressures. The velocity and LV systolic pressure (pumping phase) are measures of the filling pressures of the heart and that should be analyzed to determine if yours were in the normal range. If the valve (one-way from atrium to ventricle) has a narrow opening, the gradient pressure will be higher than normal causing dilatation.
Avatar m tn Motor conduction of all sampled nerves shows normal distal latency, normal CMAP amplitude and mild decrease in conduction velocity. Sensory conduction of all sampled nerves shows normal SNAP amplitute and conduction velocity. Impression: Electrophysiological parameters are suggestive of grossly normal peripheral nerve conduction studies of sampled nerves. To correlate clinically. Eventhough my doctor told me that everything is normal, he wrote gabapin-NT tablets for 30 days.
Avatar m tn The transmitral velocity was within the normal range. There was no evidence for stenosis. There was trivial regurgitation. AORTIC VALVE: The valve was trileaflet. Leaflets exhibited normal thickness and normal cuspal separation. DOPPLER: Transaortic velocity was within the normal range. There was no stenosis. There was no regurgitation. TRICUSPID VALVE: Normal valve structure. There was normal leaflet separation. DOPPLER: The transtricuspid velocity was within the normal range.
