Two days ago, after taking off my glasses in the evening, I noticed a slight feeling as if I was still seeing the rims of my glasses, the day after as well. Now I wake up in the middle of the night and wonder why I’m wearing glasses - but I’m not. It looks as if there is a slight afterimage of my rims visible to me. What can cause this? It’s freaking me out. Eye exam was three weeks ago and anatomically, everything was fine.
I'm pretty ocd and work as a bartender. I worry about touching the rims of peoples used glasses and then touching my penis when I go to use the bathroom. Am I at risk for herpes?

Hi for the past week or so my right eye has been very itchy. It itches around the rims and inner corner of my eye.also it feels like it itches inside the upper and lower lid. Its not really red or puffy unless I rub it. I haven't used any new skin or hair products and I don't wear contacts or glasses. also theres no discharge and I have no history of allergies, it just itches like crazy!! i never ever wore eyeglasses before, but now i wear them all the time. i noticed that whenever i wake up from sleeping it feels and looks like the rims of my glasses are on me IT FEELS SOOOOOOOOOO REAL IM NOT KIDDING THAT EVEN THAT I KNOW THEY ARE OFF I STILL TRY TO TAKE IT OFF OF MY FACE. this only happens when i wake up from sleeping i can see the outer image and feel them on the bridge of my nose.
My brother and my husband work together so I know they joke about stuff and supposedly the reason my brother said that was because I just paid off our furniture and I let my husband buy these rims and tires that he has been wanting and the guys thought I would never let him get them so my brother was teasing him. I wore them as apart of my costume. A few days later, I noticed red marks on my face where the bottom rims of the glasses had made contact with my face. These marks did not go away. I showed my mother(a nurse for 34 years) over Thanksgiving, and she gave me some steroid creme, which made the red marks redder. I also tried antibacterial, and anti-fungal cremes, both made the marks redder. I still have them now!
Recently I have noticed small veins on my upper eyelids becoming visible. The rims of my eyelids, especially my upper eyelids, have a purplish hue to them now. They almost look like i'm having an allergic reaction to something but I know I'm not because this all started after the surgery. Also, I never had a problem with being in the sun for long durations before but now if my eyes are exposed to the sun for too long my eyelids get very swollen.
When it happens, i see a couple of small lights at different rims/corners, about 2mm long each, I cannot tell whether it's flashing, but it's very bright. The duration is probably less than 10 seconds(around 5 maybe?). My retina doctor did see me once in between these two occurrances(because I see new floaters), and he didn't find any new tears.
I have two questions:
1) I did read lots of posts on this website and I know flashing lights is something I should watch out for.
I just bought my bf a xbox one and im also buying him rims for his car.
Also you know those toilet rims I was urinating directly onto it. What if someone’s fluids were on that and then splashed back onto me? I’m currently pregnant so I believe this is where I’m being paranoid.
please answer, i just discovered that there two bumps on the skin covering the rims of the penis head (circumcised). Is this herpes?

The small bumps on the rims are the pearly penile papules and the few white spots seem like some irritation of the penis or penis yeast infection. Pearly penile papules are small dome-shaped to filiform skin-colored papules that typically are located on the sulcus or corona of the glans penis.
For the yeast infection, topical and oral antifungals may be needed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
I said stay away from Craigslist cause my brother bought rims off it and the ended up not fitting so he put them back on Craigslist someone wanted to buy the rims set him up and ended up trying to run my brother over stating the rims were stolen and my brother had a bill of sale so he didn't steal them acquitted but th but the gentleman that guy tried to run my brother and beat up his girlfriend so that's why I said stay away fro stay away from Craigslist.
I m just worried that the mucous membrane around the anus will be the vulnerable point for the hiv virus as compared to the more durable mucous membrane else where in the body. Cos when she rims the saliva may hv the virus which attcks the weak membrane. Pls help me understand if that not the case. Appreciate ur explanation. Thanks in advance.
