Two days ago, after taking off my glasses in the evening, I noticed a slight feeling as if I was still seeing the rims of my glasses, the day after as well. Now I wake up in the middle of the night and wonder why I’m wearing glasses - but I’m not. It looks as if there is a slight afterimage of my rims visible to me. What can cause this? It’s freaking me out. Eye exam was three weeks ago and anatomically, everything was fine.

Hi for the past week or so my right eye has been very itchy. It itches around the rims and inner corner of my eye.also it feels like it itches inside the upper and lower lid. are there any plastic surgeons that do pro-bono work. I am 48 had gastric bypass in 2004 told to keep the weight for 3 to 4 years and then have the reconstructive proceedures done. I was on active duty navy when the bypass was done and assured that tricare would pay, now I am being told that any proceedure has to be medically necessary for them to cover. I don't have the money to do this my self and looking for help and guidance.
