Slight blood variances for albumin (slighty high), creatine (sl hg), alk phosphatase (sl lw), low testosterone (sl lw), b12 (sl lw). Other test in these groups were normal. Hmm...as someone who did her postdoc work in Immunology and Allergy, hives are considered a Major allergic reaction. Your doc needs to know ASAP. Other causes of hives are many, but an infection is most common, at least in kids (especially strep throat, vaginal yeast infection, sinus infection, some viral infections - esp. Hepatits) But, the proplem with hives is, if they signal an allergic reaction to the drug, the next time they might not be just hives.

I was on it recently for 5 days 50mg/day and I had the racing heart feeling, the mood swings, the psycho me feeling for about a week afterward! It was horrible and I sure don't want to take it again! How many mg were you taking...10mg x 4 days. You could always call your pharmacist and ask if this is normal or if you should have yourself looked at...that is what I would do anyway... Anyone have any other thoughts on this?

I had an lt tear, sl tear and a tfcc tear. They repaired the sl and lt and then did a debridement on the tfcc. When the lt and sl repaire failed I then had an intercarpal fusion. After I had the intercarpal fusion I felt pretty good. Now I am having pain in my wrist/hand and forearm all the time. It swells, it gets cold and sometimes when it is cold it turns purple a light purple. I went an saw my orthopedic surgeon and he wants me to see a pain management doctor.

Hi Ladies, I'm going to the allergist tomorrow, and wanted to know if you had any more insight to offer on the Rebif allergic reaction and your (or family member) experiences. I've re-read the old thread where we briefly discussed it, but was wondering if they ran specific tests in support of finding out, or it was just narrowed down to being the only culprit.
