Common Questions and Answers about Marinol thc pill

marinol

The question is, Is there an alternative way to take THC that is legal. Is it possible to get a product in pill form? Smoking and or eating pot is not a legal option but the benefit of being on THC is remarkable!
I can only bring up the obvious, like being in a car or enclosed space when others are smoking pot. There is a pill called Marinol which has THC in it? I'm sorry. Maybe you could ask for another test???
, my doctor would have scripted it if I had wanted. In the pill form anyway. It is called Marinol. Hopefully someone else will come along who knows about trials. I know New Sojourn gets medical marijuana.
melissakay - yes, medical marijuana is available in pill form by the name of Marinol. It contains THC which is the active ingredient of the marijuana plant. Some people swear it only works for pain and/or nausea control when smoked and won't use the legal Marinol for that reason. I'll admit I tried smoking it myself years ago when I was vomiting several times a day from the worst bowel obstruction I've ever had. (Lost a couple feet of colon from that event.

My doc has thankfully decided to take me off the oxy and wants to try a med that apparently is used for Fibro treatment that is THC based but I didn't catch the name. Does anyone know the name of it and has anyone tried it? The oxy did nothing to alleviate my pain and the Lyrica is not doing anything either. I am just sooo glad to be off the oxy! I can't stand the way it makes me feel and I can't function while on it!
Yes the synthetic pill is called Marinol i believe. It is in a small gel cap and there are far less side effects then just about every drug under the sun. The marinol pill has been available for quite some time. It is prescribed to cancer patients who are going through chemo and such. Sorry I am just now reading your comment.
There are no magic pills as you may have discovered. My physicians tells me that some of her patients, if not most are looking for that magic pill. They cannot accept that the best we can hope for is that word "management." Even on a good day I have pain; pain that restricts me or prevents me from doing the things I use to do. I was in denial and even angry for many years and refused to accept that I would never return to pre-injury condition.
When I was on the Interferon, pot was the only thing that allowed me to eat, stay sane and not throw up. The Marinol (Thc) they give to AIDS patients and Anorexics is like swalloinging a panic attack. It svery harsh on the mind. ya gotta take it to understand. Alcohol is advertsied as a fun social scenerio and my twin sister's face is disfigured due to a drunk driving accident. Hmmm when was the last time I got stoned and went driving??? NEVER!

She became so happy and motivated and most importantly could eat as she would go days without eating as the chemo made her lose her appetite. Those buds are on this Earth for reason! She did try Marinol (synthetic THC made by a pharmaceutical company and its intent is to mimic the effects of marijuana) but my mother said it didn't even compare to the real stuff.
