Since I have to treat 48 weeks I have been counting down the days until the Incivek is over and hoping that things will get a little easier once this part is over. Thanks!
I know it was on the ballot for several different areas and even in my area on legalizing it for medical purposes or banning it. I looked briefly into it and was impressed by not only how much it may help people (medically) but how carefully it is regulated when it is used medically. It is strictly done in a doctor's office and carefully monitored. It's not like they are going into a back alley somewhere and buying this from drug dealers. They also appear to monitor the amount and usage.
Substances Causing False Positives According to a report by the Los Angeles Times New Service, a study of 161 prescription and over the counter medications showed that 65 of them produced false positive results in the most widely administered urine test.

The over the counter dreams. Sleep in the nude. I slept in the nude. clothing made me itch, just the touch, so I avoided it as much as possible. This thread has now been given an R rating....... WOW...
I hope it's the pi and not the soc drugs we have in common but am thinking it may be the interferon. I can't eat any of the things blessedbes mentioned. Mildly hot food puts me over the top now and sugar makes me sick. Two seconds into a butteracotch candy and my system goes into shock, peppermint would just add fire. The ginger ale and pure gum might be ok though. This site suggests tart things like lemonade and oj. http://www.qualityhealthresources.
Some people have had to stop treatment due to their doctors not taking the rash seriously and not treating it aggressively. If your rash is anything other than a few bumps, over the counter medications are not going to control it. They simply are not strong enough. You will probably need prescription steroid creams and/or ointments and Hydroxyzine. I used fluocinonide ointment for my body rash, hydrocortisone valerate cream for my face rash, and clobetesol solution for my scalp.
It does help, but I have no idea what it will do to the trials and whether or not they will throw you out. Don't agree with taking more man made drugs over the counter or otherwise to counteract these horrible drugs we are on. Weed is natural, comes from the earth. It hasn't hurt me and when I feel really bad, smoking helps, not just with the eating, also the psychological effects. Talk to the people who you are going through the trials with and see what they say.
I still get headaches and joint pains but mild. If the tylenol don't work try other over the counter. I'm not a doctor its up to you.
You could try taking an over the counter painkiller containing Paracetamol with the Tramadol. A doctor told me that it’s safe to do and that Tramadol actually works better when taken with Paracetamol. The fatigue you mentioned when you stop taking it is likely to be at least partially due to the letdown you typically get when you suddenly stop taking it after your body has become used to it.
WOW, okay here goes. I stopped posting because I am having a HORRIBLE treatment experience, and people have been sooo cheerful, and "uplifting" - I have been having enough tummy troubles lately without swallowing sacharine on top of it all. Doc doesn't give me any illusions that this will get easier - just that I'll get through somehow. I am not having a "typical" treatment experience. I am having big trouble with that little side called "anorexia".
Seeing as you are in Colorado you do have a lot of resources to find out more. Breckenrigde CO is the first state in the US to completely decriminalize it to anyone over the age of 21. This law was put into effect January 1 2010. You have to really put some thought into this, as it is not a typical treatment and some doctors will not agree that it has any medical benefits. I had not said anything about my MM use on here because I was worried I would be judged.
They used this capsicum (under a chemical name but again experimental) and I did try this treatment but it burned my skin, so that procedure did not work but the over the counter Solonpas patches, I can tolerate. Wish I could offer something more but ANYONE who has anything to offer, FEEDBACK would very much be appreciated. Thank you for your replies up to date and thank you for listening.
The physicians I know who make recommendations view marijuana as safer than opioids and a lot of our over-the-counter medications, such as anti-inflammatories," he said. "Plus, a lot of people who are taking marijuana as their primary relief for pain are greatly reducing their use of opioid narcotics.
Sorry if I'm over-mothering here. My son came home from college for the weekend and it's like my "mom" switch got turned on and I don't seem to be able to turn it off since he left!
