lyrica tab

I have tried ammitryptilene, neurontin, lyrica and cymbalta but none of them has really helped. Does anyone have a suggestion about other treatments that have worked for them?

00 took a tab slept till 3:00 took another tab to get sleep for work. Went to work and took 1 at 8:30 am but ppl at work noticed me acting different and working slower so I took 2 at 9:30.cuz I thought ppl were seeing me act different. Then at 4:30 I took 2 again. Dont know if I'm getting anywhere but I have decreased the dosage.Why do my feet and hands get so cold and how can I get some sleep?

I was on Lyrica and gained about 40 pounds, also made my hands and feet swell. I have heard it works wonders for some just not me. Still trying to lose the weight and it has been about a year. I have never taken Suboxone so can't tell you about it..good luck. there are alot of wonderful people here that can help you more.

I am still drowsy at times, but less than before. I think it has a lot to do with taking it together with my Lyrica like a lot of people had said. I just saw that on here today, so I will start trying to take them at different times. Also a HUGE problem that I think I may figured out the answer to is about what I had said about how 3 days into taking it, I turned into a total zombie and acted like I was drunk for a couple days.

If they did after being on Lyrica did this type of thing lessen? Of course anyone that had not taken Lyrica if they want to comment please do.

I must take 7.5mg/200 mg vicoprofhen 1 tab q 4hrs (5-6)qd. oxycontin 20 mg 1-2 qd. and lyrica 50 mg tid for irratractable pain syndrom. My problem is that when my doses are wearing off the pain feels worse then when I origonally started the pain meds. till it is time to take the next dose. The pain clinic Dr. said dhea was known to attach to the pain receptor that are accually more activated by the opiods and therefor lessening the pain between doses. Have you heard of this?

6 month tysabri follow up with neuro told her bout increase in pain in legs and some other problems. We decided on baclofen half tab at bedtime then increase to 3 tines a day . I held of on taking it last week because of the uti. I took half tab on thurs night within an hr I was itchy few red bumps looked like mosquito bites didnt think of anything else. I woke up yesterday morning covered in hives back of my head chest thighs private area and butt .

I now take Morphine sulfate 60 milligrams 3 X a day Also Lyrica 150 Mill 3Xs a day and I was taking Lore-tab 7.5 2 Xs in the A M hours when my other meds would wear off to hold me over till I could take the Lyrica and Morphine. They have taken the lore-tab away and I went to bed at 12. am got back up at 3. Am and In A Lot of Pain with nothing to take! Now what? I am the one sitting here suffering!If anyone knows of anything else I could do or look into...

Will swelling and itching go away by continuing to take Lyrica. I started in my hands and feet. I have been taking it a month and the symptoms are daily but are mild and seem less and less. Today, it is only swelling on the top of my ear with slight itching. Should it continue taking it, because i heard that discontinuing could cause a seizure.

Has anyone been prescribed lyrica? I have, and have had great results with it for nerve pain in my right arm and hand. Opinions, please. My two other posts with more description vanished, so I will leave with this lol.

Does anyone take lyrica and if so, has it made a difference resting at night? Thanks.

i just started lyrica yesterday...75mg...only taken it twice...could it ALREADY be helping my symptoms or is the "good feeling" just in my head?

I started Lyrica in Nov. O7'. I felt horrible for a long time. I went slowly. One pill a week, until I reached 150mg. I hurt all that time. After I had that 150mg ( not much) I started feeling better. It took so long.....more than a month. Finally, I did feel better. I did have breakthrough pain, nothing like I had before, but stabbing here and there. I still do! My Rhemy asked me to up my dose. I refused, as I had sides that put me asleep so often...

so for awhile when i missed the lyrica, i thought oh, i have vicodin...but as Vicodin off, more and more the lyrica helped.....but when I missed doses of everything..., It was by my wife keeping a diary, that I realized I was missing so many just a few days or even one...the Oh! went on... And now I have taken 3yrs without feeling the sick,sweaty feeling I felt when I missed dose.. I did not gain weight ..

Hi, Lyrica shouldn't be addictive at the low doses used for neuropathy. My grandmothers been on it or the other derivative, gabapentin, for years. Just take it at low doses. It works wonders for treating nerve pain though.

My pain doc says neurontin is a much safer drug than lyrica and wants me to stick to the neurontin.....lyrica does have a euphoria associted with it with use for some....especially at first....

I have b een taking Lyrica for by back for several months. Lyrica is also for nerve damage. I have been 3 days without it(300mg a day) and I must say it truley does help.

has anyone ever been perscribed Lyrica for cronic pain. If so how much do you take, and how long did it take to notice any results. I started taking 50MG's 3X's a day. I started last Tuesday, and haven't noticed any difference in my pain. any feedback would be great.
