Hi, As, I know about this drug than this drug is taken for anxiety disorder and also, this drug has been taken to decrease the Hot Flashes, and I am not finding that this medicine is use for brest cancer as, there are several other medicines that are used for this as, this is also called Pregabalin and this is a production of Pfizer. When I go to the Rheumatologist tomorrow I will be asking about the hot flashes and the sweats. I will let you know what she says.

When i saw my MS Dr. on Friday we talked about the gabapintin, i originally started it for my headaches. But I stil am having headaches and I am not sure what else they are doing for me so she is having me cut back on them. We are tring to get me off some of my cache of meds...so I cut back from 4 a day to 2 a day. Didnt think much about it but i am feeling like crap , headaches are worse and feel like i am having hot flashes, I havent had hot flashes for a long time now.

Can I ask what you are WDing from? That might help. I have found that Lyrica (a med for nerve pain, fiber etc is great for this. It is not a narcotic medication. Also, a hot bath helps for a short amountnof time. I can handle the other symptoms of WD but this is the worst! Good Luck!

My wds included an icky feeling clamminess, hot flashes and chills, a goose bump kind of feeling at times, just a sickly nervous, shaky kind of feeling. It is bad for a couple of days then gets better. Warm baths seem to help. I hope your wife doesn't go through wds, but if she does tell her to hang in there the worst will pass in a day or two. I want to know if this causes hot flashes with normal glucose levels at the time? Or with high glucose levels? I get hot flashed quite frequently and my temp rises. Sometimes up to 99.1, other times lower. I am a male so menopause is out. I am on Humalog and Lantus for insulin. Any help would be great. Thank you.

I'm 29+6, and I am having crazy hot flashes n insomnia. When I am able to sleep I wake up drenched n cold from sweat. This is my 4th pregnancy and I've never experienced this before. If you have any other symptoms, get checked for any virus or other sickness, but just hot flashes is usually normal. I have them, mostly at night, and our bedroom is in the basement where it's nice and freezing. Just stay hydrated and hopefully they let up. They should go away post pregnancy. Good luck!

I had been on HRT for years only to come to a point where a lump in my breast scared me. I stopped the HRT 3 mos ago and am now getting hot flashes where every crevice and skin is damp or wet and the heat omg... I do not want to go back on HRT to concerned now... Women out there do you know of anything natural I can take? I am on 10 mg of lispinol for high BP thats it..Thanks in advance for your help!
