Lunesta overdose levels

Common Questions and Answers about Lunesta overdose levels

lunesta

Avatar n tn What are your current thyroid hormone levels? Be sure to post reference ranges with results, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report. You should be getting tested periodically for TSH, Free T3 and Free T4. Do you have other symptoms of over medication, such as weight loss, diarrhea, tremors, etc. Do you have Hashimoto's?
Avatar f tn Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.
Avatar m tn The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.
2021910 tn?1339896686 so when I was in the Er last night they gave me Lunesta a sleeping pill to help me sleep I'm 31 w 5 d n my mom told me its not safe...is it..I mean babys fine n stuff but the hospital wouldn't give it to me if it wasent ok right ?
Avatar f tn It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.
Avatar f tn As of last week (maybe two weeks ago), I had reduced my Klonopin intake from 3 MG/day to 1.5 MG/day.
Avatar f tn t get a vitamin overdose from eating cereal with your vitamins. I like carnation instant breakfast and its vitamin levels are much higher than cereal levels and I've never suffered any ill effects. If you're very concerned you can switch to taking your multi vitamins at night so that the vitamins in the cereal will have already been absorbed or passed through your system by then.
558156 tn?1217727396 I take 3 percs every 4 hours...does anyone know the dangers of an overdose? The drugs have made me super paranoid...
Avatar n tn You need to discuss this with your prescribing physician, especially if you are being treated for sleep apnea. Many people die of overdose of prescribed opiates because they do not talk to their doctor, or go in for surgery and have more pain medication given to them on top of what they already take. Please make your surgeon and treatment team aware of all your medications and medical conditions. Good luck.
Avatar f tn The omega 3 is fine. A mimimum therapeutic dose is 4000-6000mg. If you have arthritis then it's higher ie 9000mg. You're not getting a overdose as long as the vitamins you are taking are single dose ones (which all those can be). It's more an issue if you get a mix where you can double up with your dosages. The 1000IU of Vit D is a standard dose for a deficiency. You probably want to get a blood test in about 2-3 months to see what your levels have done.
Avatar n tn What are your current thyroid hormone levels? You should be getting tested before each med increase, for Free T3, Free T4 and TSH. Please post the results of your latest tests, along with reference ranges, with vary lab to lab so we can better assess you situation. Magnesium and other supplements can be taken, as long as they are taken, at least, 4 hours away from thyroid medication. Once we see what your actual levels are, we'll have a better idea of what's going on.
Avatar n tn Yes, I believe it takes six weeks after for your body to readjust to doseages. If your still having a pounding heart beat I would have your levels checked again. You may need to go down.
Avatar f tn Then take them home and study them. Find out what your levels are, and what it means. It probably means he is running poor tests, for one thing. Find out what your levels are SUPPOSED to be, and then go back and educate the man. He will either listen to you, or brush you off again. At least YOU will know more about your situation, and can hopefully find a doctor that will treat you properly.
266660 tn?1189755834 Lunesta seems to work okay for me. I've only taken it three or four times (I only take it as needed and not on a nightly basis.) I was prescribed Klonopin for anxiety and sleep and she said to not take it with Lunesta (this is after I asked *her*, she didn't mention it until then.) The Klonopin seems to work as well as the Lunesta, BTW. Kevin, I've read that Lunesta and Ambien are the same "types" of sleep aids but that is all I know. I hope Ryan can clear this up for us.
Avatar m tn My doctor prescribed 50,000 IU/wk; it's not an overdose if you're defficient. I've now REDUCED my dose to 5K IU/day of Vit D.
Avatar f tn I started taking Ambien & Prozac in Oct 2009. I started building a resistance so my doctor prescribed for me Restoril, that didn't work so she started me on Lunesta. After I started building a resistance to the Lunesta my doctor prescribed for me Ambien CR 12.5mg. It's now March 2010 and I need 4 or more Ambien CR to sleep. I can't sleep without it!!! I haven't taken the CR 12.5mg in 24hr and I have the common addiction symptoms.
Avatar f tn ve had trouble sleeping, so he gave me Lunesta 3mg. I am slow to check things out, part of the reason I could be in this trouble with Hep C, but I looked at the Lunesta and it says not to take over 2mg if you have liver problems. ? I don't take it every night. But this has made me question all the drugs I am on. My tx doses are 1,000 riba and the interferon. And I am doing the white blood cell shot also once a week. This is a lot of drugs to me! Does anyone else take these?
Avatar n tn So it has nothing to do with my Thyroid? (it does work perfectly as mentioned) Could it be a throat infection / virus?
Avatar f tn I've been having trouble with sleep (all started with my first pregnancy 4 1/2 years ago). I have two young boys now & the sleep loss accumulation is really starting to interfere with everything everyday. I'm determined to get to the bottom of it all & get back to my normal sleep patterns without having to take meds for it.
Avatar n tn I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. 1139187 tn?1355706647 I get the same thing once in a while, the dizzy spells on and off, but no special time of the day, they are not specific, the same thing with insomnia, it comes and goes, some nights I will sleep straight through like seven hours, and others I will only sleep 5 and thats with taking #3 Lunesta. I get the symptoms and I am taking meds, I just started on Armour a week ago, I have those same symptoms now, but I hope it is just the transition period.
