Hi weaver! I just got prescribed Lunesta! I have taken it for a few days now. For me, it's not really powerful! I am getting about 6 straight hours of sleep before waking up! That is much better than I was getting! My doctor offered me Ambien, but I've heard horror stories of people doing crazy things like driving while on it! Also, I don't seem to have any dreams, at least not that I can remember!

t u just hate when ppl who are suppose to be ur friend fill ur mind with doubt and worry?? All week I have heard horror stories from the girls from work (who are nurses) girls we gotta remember that no pregnancy is the same and personally I feel listening to girls drag us down makes us feel waaay worse. I ended up booking a private scan cos I was so torn up by what ppl were telling me about my nausea symptoms stopping. If ur not sick ur whole pregnancy something is wrong?!?!? I was terrified.

t take much of the Tramodol, but now I am hearing horror stories. I took Valerian root last night and that helped a bit. My biggest problem now is my mood and overall frustration with getting on with life as a normal human being. I think we all take drugs for a reason..something is missing chemically, spiritually or both. The energy to find that sober overwhelmes me. Any thoughts.

Its always good to have your doctor help if you can. Ive read some horror stories about Ambien here too, I used it very little for a few months but don't remember if I withdrawed from that really bad. Lunesta may be much better, I hope for you..You may be surprised after you quit all opiates how much less pain you will have in your shoulder. Great luck to you, hang in there and be strong! I wanted to know about people's POSITIVE csection experience because I have a scheduled csection in June.. I know it's not all rainbows and sunshine but I don't want to psych myself out..

Things are OK. Thanks for asking. May be close to a great position with a good company. As you can see by my question having major sleep problems. Still having stress issues that carry into my sleep and it's so frustrating. Herbal stuff doesn't seem to work but neither did Ambien. I tried it once but then remembered horror stories I've heard so got rid of the rest. How are you?

t necessarily pay attention to the horror stories that you find online... b/c everyone is different, but I would like some feedback. I've seen the horror stories and I've also heard (from my nurse friend - directly from other nurses who take it themselves) that it is a wonder drug.

They say its non addictive but LIARs Liars, pants on fires. I have heard of horrific withdrawal stories from it. Lunesta gave me the metalic taste as does Ambien. Also makes my gums inside my cheeks sore and jaw pain. Had to get off of both. Lyrica makes me sleep all night and half the morning so, Im not taking it anymore. Not a good drug for sleeping if that's what your looking for. Has addictive qualities.

Hiii, The medicine which you are talking about is - Ziconotide, which is FDA approved drug, given intra-thecally, for the pain control. Forget about all the horror storied and try this drug, and if it gives you relief, then nothing's better. However if you feel uncomfortable, then we can discuss further.

Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.

The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.

so when I was in the Er last night they gave me Lunesta a sleeping pill to help me sleep I'm 31 w 5 d n my mom told me its not safe...is it..I mean babys fine n stuff but the hospital wouldn't give it to me if it wasent ok right ?

It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.

Am 42 year old male who has had five years of painful diverticulitis off and on. I am scheduled for surgery in 5 weeks. I am only reading horror stories and am wondering if anyone has had a good outcome after surgery. I am in otherwise great health.

I read all of these horror stories online when I chose to go off of xanax (I was rx'd 2mgs 4x's a day!) Anyway, I did taper down to 1 2mg a day. I used it at night only. I went cold turkey off of that. The taper was quick (as in 30 days) and my withdrawal was: day 1-3 mild anxiety day 4-7 tough to sleep of course and felt just out of it. I made sure to have no unnecessary drama.

Ok I am weaning off suboxone slowly have gone from 8 mgs to 4 mgs over the last 4 months but have been very depressed, the doctor started me on 30 mg of cymbalta 8 days ago, nauseous first 3 days and now mouth is very dry, haven't really noticed any other side effects and it's too soon to tell if it's helping with the depression but I've been reading some horror stories about cymbalta withdrawals, should I stop now?? Or is it alot of hype?

s normal to be a little anxious about labor. The horror stories are out there, but so are the good stories. Try to relax, things will be ok. The bad things you hear don't happen very often.

Hello ladies!! I have my glucose screening next week-- I'm 24 weeks! & I've heard horror stories! :( I'm worried I'm gonna throw it up cause it's obviously horrible & I still have morning sickness! Mine never went away! Any tricks or advice to the moms who have had it done already??

t take it for a month just to see what would happen. I, too, read the horror stories and the tales of missed periods, but all that happened to me was that my period went back to the hellish way it had been before the pill. I take Microgestin. Remember that everyone's body will respond differently to stopping a medication like this. Of course the ones you're going to find on the internet are going to be the bad ones as people tend to only be chatty when things don't go well.

I have read horror stories concerning the drug and the weight gain I have experienced since I started this drug a year and a half ago has been 30 pounds. I have never abused the drug. I usually have a few pills left over each month because I do not take them as long as I can stand the pain. Automobile accidents have did a number on my back and neck. I do receive facet blocks in both my neck and back. I also receive epidural in my back.
