lunesta eating

Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.

The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.

so when I was in the Er last night they gave me Lunesta a sleeping pill to help me sleep I'm 31 w 5 d n my mom told me its not safe...is it..I mean babys fine n stuff but the hospital wouldn't give it to me if it wasent ok right ?

It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.

Lunesta seems to work okay for me. I've only taken it three or four times (I only take it as needed and not on a nightly basis.) I was prescribed Klonopin for anxiety and sleep and she said to not take it with Lunesta (this is after I asked *her*, she didn't mention it until then.) The Klonopin seems to work as well as the Lunesta, BTW. Kevin, I've read that Lunesta and Ambien are the same "types" of sleep aids but that is all I know. I hope Ryan can clear this up for us.

I then went to a sleep specialist, referred by my family physician. He made me do a sleep study then put me on Lunesta. It did not help keep me asleep or help to find full rest. Then I begin to have digestive issues (blood and mucous in stool) which resulted in a colonoscopy. The results were evasive at best – ulcers present – most likely IBD or Chrohn's.

Yuck! So some gum helps, sips of water, but it's there all the time. Certainly not the worst sx. Eating helps, but I'm already gaining wt lots. Just wondering what others might be doing. I remeber this from SOC, but I think it's worse with incevik or am I just forgetting?

I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. I need something to help me sleep without causing nausea and to help me sleep like a baby throughout the night pleaseee.

I have been on Lunesta 3 mg for 10 years. PTSD and Chronic insomnia following a MVA 10 years ago.. Also, just tapered off Lexapro I was also on this for 10 years and it took me 6 months to taper down. Been on 1mg Xanex for 10 years and stopped abruptly last week. Stopped the Lunesta 5 days ago cold turkey, and same thing with the xanex- Severe withdrawl symptoms appeared 5 days ago.

I was given Seroquel as a sleep aide in last Dec. I immediately started to gain weight. And stopped the Seroquel immediately (mid Dec). I know this is one of the side effects. I gained about 5lbs. Being 5'9" and weighing 135, I felt the 5 extra pounds would come off with eating better and a few more yoga classes . But the weight kept coming. I got down to a dietary intake of about 1000 cals. But that mad no difference.

I have been on 80 mg. Of oxy for a year now n quit cold turkey Friday night. I had no idea what I was in for. The muscle spasms , migriane followed by vomiting. Can't sleep so tried. Final call some local abuse hotline. They were closed for mlk. Call my doc. On 4th day gave Xanax for a week and lunesta at night is this a bad idea? My wife.

At my pain dr app yesterday they gave me a tens unit and lunesta. I slept descently but that dam lunesta gave me some kind of nasty taste in my mouth. normal? I been shocking the ship outa my legs to stop the leg pain, and if i turn it any higher ill start convulsing. ha! Seriously though, i need someone to tell me how to get the energy to go to my pool and swim or do something..

can i take lunesta with a natural sleep aid that has melatonin, valerian root, passionflower,chamomile, hops extract and 5-HTP?

i took 3 goodys pm and i have a 2mg lunesta....would it be a bad idea to take them together.

LUNESTA!!! Although i have not taken it since being prego ...if your DR ok'd ambien then Lunesta is ok as well. It works MUCH better...i hated Ambien.

i am on lunesta, i take a break every now and then, but the doc said it was ok.

When I kept forgetting to take the second dose, he suggested the 30mg X-RAY And it seemed to work extremely well, I was not sleeping at all, had lots of stress and went through a number of different antidepressants, they all pretty much made feel hung over and generally like crap all day. He suggested Lunesta and it seemed to work enough to get atleast 6hrs of sleep and felt well rested the next day.

I only used them at night to get to sleep.... I have been to see my Doc. and he gave me some Lunesta and wants me to try it in the next couple of days.... Just figure I will wait for another day or two.... I am still getting RLS but it isn't in my legs, it's in my ARMS!!!!!! Can anyone offer insite as to how to combat that one.... My arms will uncontrollably retract out to a straight position and then back to the fetal position.....

As needed or regularly? I personally would be scared to take Klonopin and Lunesta together. Have you done it yet? Is the Lunesta just for once in awhile?

Which sleep aid is less addicting and less toxic, ambien or lunesta. I have heard ambien is hard on your liver.

Simvastatin 20 mg(1T QD), Diazepam 10 mg(1T TID), Opana ER 40 mg(1T BID), Atenolol 100 mg(1T QD), Lunesta 3 mg(1T HS), Cymbalta 60 mg(1C BID), Fentora 800 mcg(1T BID PRN), Fentanyl Citrate 1200 mcg(One lollipop QID PRN). He was OK for a couple of months but yesterday he started acting weird again. Slurred speech(more than usual), lack of balance, forgetfulness, etc. How can I prevent future episodes from happening? Please I need help.
