Lunesta and night eating

Common Questions and Answers about Lunesta and night eating

lunesta

Avatar f tn I tried melotonin and valerian root, the valerian helped with me falling asleep but I don't stay asleep for more than 3-4 hours at night. I took the Lunesta last night and was out for 8 full hours but I am a little scare to take it. So tonight I'm not gonna take it and maybe ill just take it every other day. But see that's how I started with the tramadol just one here and there for back pain then I was up to taking 12 a day.
Avatar n tn I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. Avatar n tn You think you are not going to sleep without it so you go ahead and take it every night. I tried lunesta but couldn't get past the taste. It stayed with me all night. I also take ambein . It helps with irritability.
Avatar f tn It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.
266660 tn?1189755834 ) I was prescribed Klonopin for anxiety and sleep and she said to not take it with Lunesta (this is after I asked *her*, she didn't mention it until then.) The Klonopin seems to work as well as the Lunesta, BTW. Kevin, I've read that Lunesta and Ambien are the same "types" of sleep aids but that is all I know. I hope Ryan can clear this up for us.
Avatar m tn its been 2 days on That dose, tday im gonna try not to take it. My Doc prescribed me some 350mg soma for the pain and lunesta for sleep. Im going to try taking soma if the pain becomes unbearable, any advice pls?
Avatar n tn I never tried remeron, but ambien was horrible and so was resterol the taste of the lunesta that it leaves in your mouth is horrible so there is no easy answer but I did find the ativan did help for a while and I still take it with the lunesta and I agree if I get a good nights sleep the next day is much better.
Avatar f tn 30 am and go to bed about 7:30 pm, except on weekends when I can stay up later and sleep later. As far as thyroid issues were concerned, it didn't seem to have any effect, but then I was taking my thyroid med in the morning and the melatonin in the evening, so there was an entire day's separation. My endo suggested that I take tylenol PM before bed. That works good for me, but again, I'm sleeping at night, not during the day.
Avatar f tn I use the mouthwash 2-3 times per day and then when I wake up in middle of night to use bathroom. I think both have helped me quite a bit with bad taste and very dry mouth.
Avatar n tn All that I have to go on is Roberto and his cousin Armando who are trying this and so far they are sleeping all night and waking up refreshed. He told me that it is an all natural blend of synergistic ingredients that help you sleep throughtout the night. Thanks could please call me with the answer at 508-967-7822 for I am desperate to sleep and not be depressed.
1000729 tn?1253365050 So, I promised not to post a thread any earlier than every 5 days cuz it's unfair to flood the forum!!!!! Here's my update!!!! Da1-3 was pure he11!!!! I have never dealt with such lack of energy and depression and sick to my stomach and chills and etc., etc...... I wouldn't wish that upon my worse enemy!!!! Day 4 I felt a little better and today even a little better.... I am still concerned about the half life of the Fent.
1102799 tn?1269237714 Fairly soon my Ob-gyn switched me to Ambien CR 12 mg and this worked quite well (1/2 at night and 1/2 in the middle of the night) - I definitively prefer Ambien CR to regular Ambien. PS: be careful if you try to switch to Lunesta, a friend of mine did that and he started to sleepwalk!!
Avatar f tn You might try taking a combination of Valerian and Melatonin when you stop the Lunesta. I was taking Lunesta in my early withdrawals and it did make me sleep, but that nasty taste was to much for me. I must say I haven't really slept really well since, but the herbs I mention do help somewhat, I take a hot bath before bed then I take them. From what I've heard Lunesta withdrawals are mainly mental, but you can get addicted to just about anything.
Avatar m tn I have been on 80 mg. Of oxy for a year now n quit cold turkey Friday night. I had no idea what I was in for. The muscle spasms , migriane followed by vomiting. Can't sleep so tried. Final call some local abuse hotline. They were closed for mlk. Call my doc. On 4th day gave Xanax for a week and lunesta at night is this a bad idea? My wife.
Avatar n tn 00 pm) I will wake up within 30-45min. and remain awake all night. I have read about Alpha Wave Intrusion and I would bet this is what I have. Unfortunately, most doctors have very little experience and education with complex sleep issues and resort to writing meds. I had a sleep study 6 years ago. No apena, less than 100 minutes of sleep ( out of 360) and REM time under 30 min. I have tried everything including acupuncture, brain music, herbal remedies and most of the drugs on the market.
Avatar m tn The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.
Avatar n tn Does anyone know if thats good i tried it once and really liked it it doesnt seem to be addicting
Avatar f tn (My hair continues to fall out so I’m taking iron and biotin to help. I am not fully resting at all at night nor have I for at least 9 months. I do take Clonazepam for anxiety - a 30 caps RX lasts me 6 - 8 months or more. I take the Lunesta occasionally - 30 RX is 8 months old at this point. I drink 5 - 6 drinks two times a week.
Avatar f tn When I kept forgetting to take the second dose, he suggested the 30mg X-RAY And it seemed to work extremely well, I was not sleeping at all, had lots of stress and went through a number of different antidepressants, they all pretty much made feel hung over and generally like crap all day. He suggested Lunesta and it seemed to work enough to get atleast 6hrs of sleep and felt well rested the next day.
Avatar n tn It took a couple nights to fall asleep naturally after taking the lunesta but I finally did and slept all nite. I am actually awake now by 8. I mean wide awake. I dont know what to do with myself with so much time awake during the day.
Avatar f tn I have been off oxy now into day five they gavevme xanax for day n lunesta at night. The lunesta gave me 4 hrs. Of sleep. Should I be on this trying to get a year of oxy at 80 mg.
Avatar m tn to no avail. saw a sleep specialist and he put me on both seroquel to be taken with Lunesta. it all went downhill from there. to make a long story short, this is when i started having panic attacks. So it was time for me to take some time off of work and see a psychiatrist, since that is what the ER physician recommended. My 1st psyc put me on 10 mg. of lexapro and 30 mg of temazepan and it was HORRIFYING.
Avatar n tn Make sure you get some exercise during the day to use up the adrenaline, it will make you more tired at night and ease your anxiety....even if it's a long walk. A good nights sleep is very elusive to those of us with anxiety, we just have to keep trying to invent ways to relax. I hope this helps and take care.
Avatar f tn What do your doctors say and are doing about your pain? Pain is usually there for a reason. Identifying and treating the source would seem the most helpful outcome. Could you distract using another activity when the pain wakes you? It must be very disillusioning to have worked so hard to lose weight only to have put it back on again. Don't beat yourself up about it but don't make pain an excuse to over-eat. Don't let your doctors attitude discourage you either.
Avatar f tn I have been waking up in the middle of the night for the last 12 years and eating, sometimes without remembering. I hate the way I feel after I do this. I am considering going to a hypnotist. Could this work?
