Lunesta and memory problems

Common Questions and Answers about Lunesta and memory problems

lunesta

Avatar n tn Hi, Thank you for the detailed history. It is quite possible that there is a deficient area along the urethra that may have caused a mixing of the semen with the urine, making it appear yellow. However, not ejaculating for a long time can also cause the semen to clump or darken in color. It is possible that you contratced an infection, hence the pain during urination and the back pain.
Avatar n tn I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. 2021910 tn?1339896686 I'm on Ambien every night, otherwise, I would only get 2 hours of sleep a night. The benefits outweigh the risks. My doctor said there is a chance of depending on it to put you to sleep, but when my newborn comes, I'll wean off of it from having to be up with him all night. I even took Ambien with my first son, and he was born picture perfect. Get some rest!
1102799 tn?1269237714 be careful if you try to switch to Lunesta, a friend of mine did that and he started to sleepwalk!!
Avatar f tn Question- has anyone else had problems with Lunesta and Adderall? or heard of anyone having issues with these meds? Or a reliable study showing these results or similar.
Avatar f tn Recently my doctor tried me on Stilnox, low dose for my sleep problem but it had a stange affect on me, I started to have memory problems, well lets say more than usual. So would rather not take it although it really helped me to sleep and feel refeshed in the morning. So now I am looking for something that can help me get a better night sleep. Is there any one out there that has the name of great drug that can do that.
327369 tn?1326119908 How many of you struggle with sleep problems even when you seem to be medicated properly? Just sick of it here and needing to vent. I sleep so great some nights and others it is a struggle.....I am either wired, heart is palpitating, etc. and then I get anxious because I cannot sleep and know that I will be tired at work the next day. I have some xanex that helps sometimes and I have tried melatonin but nothing is great at helping me. I do not like lunesta or ambien because of side effects.
Avatar f tn Hi I most certainly have the same problems but I can get to sleep but I can't stay alseep and I'm up and down all night long. My memory is scary, I do things and then have zero memory of what I have done.
Avatar f tn Yes I have memory issues and I am missing things people are saying often. My intellectual abilities whatever they were before seem quite diminished. If I could help myself I might stop talking and posting until this is over, but I seem to need to participate even though I sometimes make a fool of myself. My doctor said that it was good that I was still asking questions of him because it means the meds are not destroying my brain function! LOL reassuring huh!
Avatar m tn ve done cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, and alcohol. My issue is that I feel like I have memory and cognitive issues due to my past drug use. I have since graduated from college and hold a computer related job. I do well in my job, but can't get over the past drug use and blaming it for my perceived inadequacies. I do brain training programs like mindfit, sudoku, read books, yoga, work out etc. I am literally trying everything I can to try and regain my sharp memory and cognitive skills.
Avatar m tn And I feel like I have forgotten everything I spent the past 3-4 years paying to learn ! I was an honours student in undergrad and never had memory problems before. I am also having huge problems concentrating on what people are saying to me. It's like I am not listening no matter how hard I try to listen my brain wanders off into zombie land. And I am only 29. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to regain one's memory and concentration ?
Avatar f tn As I got older, I realized and it was medically documented that many of my problems came from that wreck. The pain distracts me from thinking clearly, I forget things like you and I use the wrong words, and the fear from the accident makes me nervous. You say you hit your head. I suppose you could ask for an MRI so the doctors can look and make sure nothing like a swollen blood vessel or other abnormality from the accident is pressing on your brain, causing your symptoms.
Avatar f tn I have FM for over 12 years now, I've read numerous books, I belong to the National Fibromyalgia Network, The Fibromyalgia Association, and follow the latest research on many aspects of FM. These include, medical and pharmaceutical research. There is NO evidence that people with FM have brains that age faster. There is a neurological aspect to FM that can affect our brains. Our neurotransmitters may not be firing right to put it simply.
1830047 tn?1321667793 I had similar lapses around the time I got diagnosed with Lyme. One time, I had quite the argument with my husband about where an insurance document had gone. He said he gave it to me, I said he didn't. He let me know later that he found it on the glass of the copier, where I had left it. Yikes. I did not remember that at all during the argument. After he mentioned it, I had a vague memory of making a copy. I have since disavowed responsibility for anything!
Avatar f tn Since my diagnosis of depression, anxiety, and actually long before, I am having memory trouble. I read great books, and then forget about them. Like everything. It is bizarre. I have kind of been this way for my life. I am sure I have been ADHD most of my life undiagnosed. I was hyperactive as a child. Anyone with memory problems?
Avatar m tn It sounds like you may be having some work problems. That can cause stress and the memory problems too.
676143 tn?1312941771 So does anyone else have problems with memory lately? I feel like the baby is sucking my brain away. I keep forgetting so many little things. Luckily, it hasn't gotten me in to too much trouble yet - but one of these days I am going to forget something really important!
462361 tn?1207858977 I was wondering if taking lunesta would help out. Ive been perscribed it for almost a year now cause ive always had problems sleeping mainly insomnia but would lunesta push any button for my past addiction? As in the percocets?? Just wondering.. seems like RLS and twitching is EVERYONES problem here =/ buhh when will it stopppppp!!!!!!
Avatar f tn It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.
Avatar m tn The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.
Avatar n tn Does anyone know if thats good i tried it once and really liked it it doesnt seem to be addicting
1580703 tn?1651904887 hello dear and welcome to the medhelp forum. I understand your anxiety about the muscle twitching. Clonazepam is known to cause drowsiness and lack of muscle coordination as side effect. There are some rare effects also like uncontrolled body movement and twitching which can be distressful. this is a anti anxiety/anti convulsant of benzodiazepine group and your doctor prescribed you once he deemed that the beneficial effect dominates the anticipated and possible side effects.
