lunesta and lamictal

I take 200 mg of lamictal, 10mg of abitlify, 150 mg of wellbrutrin, 3mg of lunesta, 1-3mg of lorazepam and 15mg of buspar.

I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and ptsd. my inital diagnoses was did (disociative personality disorder). I am not sure what is exactly wrong with me and i am convinced that my doctors are not completely sure either. i currently take: * lamictal *citalopram *xanex *risperdone *ambien... its still hard to focus but its a different impedement on the meds its not the same kind of distraction or process. i want to stop taking them but i know how bad things are when i am not on them.

(For examble - Putting Lunesta in my morning drug box, or omitting my lamictal from my morning drug regimen.) Last night I woke up and throught it was 7:00 am and it took me a while to realize that it was actually 7:00 pm. It really upset me! I have been diagnoses as bi-polar for a very long time, so I take a lot of medications I'm really pretty smart. I have a fast paced job that I love.

I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. I need something to help me sleep without causing nausea and to help me sleep like a baby throughout the night pleaseee.

Besides the medications I take for depression and BP (Cymbalta, lamictal, lithium), I've also been tking 50mg of Trazadone and 10mg of Ambien nightly for about 6 months. Sometimes it works...sometimes not. If I miss a certain window of time to take the night drugs...I'm wired instead of sleepy. I will stay up until 3-4a wandering around..eventually get a couple hours sleep, and still have high energy the next day...or couple days...until I crash.

Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.

I'm on Ambien every night, otherwise, I would only get 2 hours of sleep a night. The benefits outweigh the risks. My doctor said there is a chance of depending on it to put you to sleep, but when my newborn comes, I'll wean off of it from having to be up with him all night. I even took Ambien with my first son, and he was born picture perfect. Get some rest!

It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.

The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.

Does anyone know if thats good i tried it once and really liked it it doesnt seem to be addicting

I am in a whole bunch of pain. Upper arms, legs and feet. I am on tramadol and flexoril for the pain. The more I do the more pain I have. Oh geesh. Is there ever an end to the pain? I am hoping to be on some sort of DMD Monday with a firm diagnosis. Something is definitely wrong, just hope for an answer. Here's hoping I do not have to bear this for the rest of my life.

When I kept forgetting to take the second dose, he suggested the 30mg X-RAY And it seemed to work extremely well, I was not sleeping at all, had lots of stress and went through a number of different antidepressants, they all pretty much made feel hung over and generally like crap all day. He suggested Lunesta and it seemed to work enough to get atleast 6hrs of sleep and felt well rested the next day.

Now I am post TX and the insomnia has not yet left, so they prescribed Ambien and Lunesta for me (i grew allergic to something in the benedryl). They are all harmless to liver but the ambien & lunesta do cause dependence so I alternate them: Ambien for a couple nights, then lunesta (which does not work as well for me) for one night. The 'dependence' is not a big deal; just means you'll have a several very sleepless nights after you quit them.

* Additional medications should be added such as trazadone, lamictal, and sleep aides (Ambien, lunesta), or atleast the ability to enter in your own. * For real value, a user should have a drop down on the medications that allow you to select a dosage. You could do this in 5mg increments and go from 5-200. If someone is on mutiple medications - or even one - this would allow them to track there 'mood' according to the level of medication or combination they are trying.

I've done okay with lamictal, but lamictal and celexa, not so good. And now lamictal with wellbutrin, not so good. At least I think it's not the lamictal. I know my PsychNP put a big no in her notes regarding me and celexa.

has anyone had stomach problems with lithium and lamictal while takimg them at the same time?.....

I have been on lamictal 100mg to 150mg, and I haven't noticed any facial hair growth, although I think my hair is thinning out. When I take a shower and put cream rinse in and work it thru, I have lots of hair coming out.

its been 2 days on That dose, tday im gonna try not to take it. My Doc prescribed me some 350mg soma for the pain and lunesta for sleep. Im going to try taking soma if the pain becomes unbearable, any advice pls?

It should work once it reaches an appropriate dose. Occassionally at higher dosages Lamictal can sometimes worsen mania but it takes time and a psychiatrist has to see how they are responding in general. Keep a mood tracker here and print out the results for your psychiatrist and ask them to follow up.

I was diagnosed Bipolar II with minor depression and was put on Lamictal teetering up 25 mg every 2 weeks with 150mg Wellbutrin (Zyban) the aim was to reach 200mg and see how I feel, by the start of the seventh week, I got tiny itchy patches on my cheeks that flaired up after I took the Lamictal… so stopped lamictal, (remained on the wellbutrin) and went on an antihistamine (Atarax) for a 2 weeks 25/50mg, did some surface (72 hour skin contact) allergy tests and came negative for Lamictal so I w

this is just my experience, and I'm not on tx yet...I can't take Lunesta and ambien, ambien makes me feel nutzo the next morning, but many people are fine with it...I take ativan if I have had a lot of sleepless nights in a row, and at a very low dose...I find tranquilizers lull me into sleep, which I prefer...best of luck...

I have depression and bipolor. I was taking lamictal 300mg at night and also ambien for sleep. I have become very depressed and irratable and thinking I'm losing my mind, I forget things and confused.

I never tried remeron, but ambien was horrible and so was resterol the taste of the lunesta that it leaves in your mouth is horrible so there is no easy answer but I did find the ativan did help for a while and I still take it with the lunesta and I agree if I get a good nights sleep the next day is much better.

I was taking Bupropion and Lamictal, and switched to Effexor. I have been on Effxor for three weeks. I have had the worst fatigue I have ever felt. So now I am unsure if it was coming off the Lamictal or if it was the Effexor. I am going to stop the Effexor, but I don't know if I should go back on just the Lamictal, The lamictal When I first started taking it, up to 200 mg worked fairly well. I guess my question is, is , has this kind of fatigue been know to be a side effect with Effexor?

I have seen a ENT doc and my hearing is perfect, nothing else is wrong, only the Lamictal that I am on. My doc one day said oh the ringing could be because of the lamictal which made me start obsessing over it, did not help, and now I have started weening myself off the lamictal but it is not an easy road. I was on 100mg then went down to 50mg for a week now I am down to 25 mg and valuim to take edge off, I hate the way I am feeling and the panic attacks or anxiety are hard.
