lunesta and increased appetite

That's how I started to feel after about 20 or 22 weeks im 28 weeks and 5 day's now and my appetite has subsided now but I've gained about 15 pounds lol

Soo I've had pretty normal appetite but now since last week its increased im a ftm and wasn't sure if that's normal or if it's jus me. Im 33weeks and 1day btw.

I am only 4-5 weeks from my last period and my appetite has gone from hardly ever eating at all to constantly eating and craving odd foods. Is this normal?

He sleeps constantly, has very little appetite (if any at all), and is in constant pain. Recently the hospice staff put him on morphine. His appetite has picked up just a bit. When I asked about it the nurse said morphine is known to increase a person's appetite. Is this true???

i had EXTREME drowsiness as well as a VERY HEIGHTENED SUGAR CRAVING AND INCREASED APPETITE. The most disturbing side effect was I WAS HAVING SEVERE IRRITABILITY AND AGITATION TOWARDS MY CHILDREN AS WELL AS WITH LIFE. that was enough. so the psychiatrist agreed with me. so currently my cocktail for the past few days has been the following: 12.5mg ambien CR, 9 MG of melatonin and 100 MG trazedone, i have gotten 3 outta 4 nights of great rest.

I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. I need something to help me sleep without causing nausea and to help me sleep like a baby throughout the night pleaseee.

I have been off my exercise a few months and gained approximately 10lbs over 8 months. Obviously, I need to get back to the exercise. This weekend my HR and BP suddenly increased and rose to 110 bmp and 160/80 with very little movement. I do not intake any caffine (of any kind - energy drinks, supplements with caffine forms, ...) so it is not from that.

Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.

I'm on Ambien every night, otherwise, I would only get 2 hours of sleep a night. The benefits outweigh the risks. My doctor said there is a chance of depending on it to put you to sleep, but when my newborn comes, I'll wean off of it from having to be up with him all night. I even took Ambien with my first son, and he was born picture perfect. Get some rest!

It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.

The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.

Does anyone know if thats good i tried it once and really liked it it doesnt seem to be addicting

My GP prescribed me Lunesta last week. It works, but it gives no appetite. I try taking it every 3rd or 4th night. I am serious about the no appetite though, the first time i took i literally did not have an appetitie for two days. Not healthy in my situation. I have tried ambien, and all others, but this is the only that has worked so far. Of course everyone's side effects are different.

ve had increased pain in my shoulder but I am dealing with it. And I have had some decrease in pain as well - my hands and fingers are less swollen and stiff. I tried to get my rings on this morning and still couldn't do it but hopefully, that will come in time.

I'm not even 9 weeks yet and i really have to fight not to eat my entire house. Or I'm puking. Goes back and forth lol maybe the Hunger is all in my head. I dont even feel hungry, i just can't stop thinking about food!

Way to go on 53 days. although my DOC was different i also had an increased appetite after getting clean. i have to admit food is one of my addictions, I LOVE TO EAT, but while using i had no appetite at all. it seems a lot of people gained an appetiye after getting clean.

When I kept forgetting to take the second dose, he suggested the 30mg X-RAY And it seemed to work extremely well, I was not sleeping at all, had lots of stress and went through a number of different antidepressants, they all pretty much made feel hung over and generally like crap all day. He suggested Lunesta and it seemed to work enough to get atleast 6hrs of sleep and felt well rested the next day.

I have also had periods of weakness, feeling nauseous and dizzy. I have also greatly increased in my appetite. I almost hungry all the time, and i ranging in losing a few pounds to gaining them back again. I was told by my doctor 2 years ago that i was at risk for developing diabetes, 2 of my aunts (blood related) have diabetes. Would i have an increased risk? Can these feelings be related to any other health problems?

Now I am post TX and the insomnia has not yet left, so they prescribed Ambien and Lunesta for me (i grew allergic to something in the benedryl). They are all harmless to liver but the ambien & lunesta do cause dependence so I alternate them: Ambien for a couple nights, then lunesta (which does not work as well for me) for one night. The 'dependence' is not a big deal; just means you'll have a several very sleepless nights after you quit them.

When I was on lithium it increased my appetite so I had to watch my diet. Caffeine and coffee are best avoided with lithium.

how much seroquel are you taking? try to lower the dose, seroquel is used as sleeping aid at around 25 to 100mg approximately. You can try some antidepressant to control your appetite. I definitely do not recommend ambien or lunesta, for long term treatment of insomnia. They have a very short life in your body and it which builds up tolerance quickly. The so called "z" drugs ambien and lunesta (zolpidem, zopiclone, zaleplon and eszopiclone) are for short term insomnia only.
