lunesta

Avatar m tn Can I take Tramodol with Effexor XR, Clonazepam, Trazadone, Lunesta, Gabapentin, Hydroxyzine. I am on all these medications for clinical depression and panic/anxiety disorder. But now I was recommended to take Tramodol for pain. Will there be a bad interaction with the drugs I just named? I would like to know each drug I have listed seperately and it's interaction with tramodol. Example....Can I take Effexor XR with Tramodol? Can I take Clonazepam with Tramodol?? Etc. ect.
Avatar f tn Lexapro is an anti-depressant, with some positive affects on anxiety, but it also has side effects, so it seems strong and wrong for what you have and it can be hard to quit taking if you're on it a long time -- the body has a hard time readjusting to not having serotonin artificially affected. I wouldn't think that's a good choice for a start here, nor would I Lunesta, in my opinion, since sleeping pills can leave one drowsy and bother REM sleep, as can Lexapro and clonazepam.
Avatar f tn I've been having trouble with sleep (all started with my first pregnancy 4 1/2 years ago). I have two young boys now & the sleep loss accumulation is really starting to interfere with everything everyday. I'm determined to get to the bottom of it all & get back to my normal sleep patterns without having to take meds for it.

Avatar m tn Has anyone that was taking clonazepam change to diazepam, and if so,how well did it go? My doctor thinks some of the issues I'm having with awful headaches and head pressure are caused from clonazepam. I took half of a 5mg of diazepam last night. Today I have taken 5mg.,but not all at once. I was afraid to take too much at one time until I could see how it made me feel. I had three of my grandchildren here today. I was use to taking the clonazepam as needed.
Avatar n tn I am now on sleep medication, clonazepam, Lunesta, now but which is barely working, Atavan is better and I can sleep but sedatives cannot be taken forever and this PND doesn't seem to be going away.
1580703 tn?1651904887 hello dear and welcome to the medhelp forum. I understand your anxiety about the muscle twitching. Clonazepam is known to cause drowsiness and lack of muscle coordination as side effect. There are some rare effects also like uncontrolled body movement and twitching which can be distressful. this is a anti anxiety/anti convulsant of benzodiazepine group and your doctor prescribed you once he deemed that the beneficial effect dominates the anticipated and possible side effects.
Avatar n tn I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. I need something to help me sleep without causing nausea and to help me sleep like a baby throughout the night pleaseee.
Avatar m tn I then tried anti-depressants, lunesta, melatonin, hypnosis, acupunctire all with no affect. Eeventualy I restarted amiben and alsstarted taking Xanax as well to help with the anxiety, and was getting about 5 hours of broken sleep. 5 weeks ago I tried using just the xanax with no ambien, and I am getting the same amount of sleep. I have issues falling asleep, staying asleep, and I am up by 4am every day no matter what I try. I am using about 1.5mg of xanax per night.
Avatar m tn I feel so much pressure in my head at times that I take part of a lunesta and it helps with my head. What is going on with my head? Is this normal with anxiety, or is there something else wrong?
Avatar f tn Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.
2021910 tn?1339896686 I'm on Ambien every night, otherwise, I would only get 2 hours of sleep a night. The benefits outweigh the risks. My doctor said there is a chance of depending on it to put you to sleep, but when my newborn comes, I'll wean off of it from having to be up with him all night. I even took Ambien with my first son, and he was born picture perfect. Get some rest!
Avatar f tn It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.
Avatar m tn The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.
Avatar n tn Does anyone know if thats good i tried it once and really liked it it doesnt seem to be addicting
Avatar f tn When I kept forgetting to take the second dose, he suggested the 30mg X-RAY And it seemed to work extremely well, I was not sleeping at all, had lots of stress and went through a number of different antidepressants, they all pretty much made feel hung over and generally like crap all day. He suggested Lunesta and it seemed to work enough to get atleast 6hrs of sleep and felt well rested the next day.
488264 tn?1226520307 My experience with clonazepam was similar to that of goofysmom1 noted above. Too much residual grogginess; little noticeable benefit. Actually, I'm not sure what it was prescribed for now that I think abouot it. One of the succession of neuros switched me to amitriptyline, but without recalling why I'm taking it, I'm not going to try to say if it's helping. It doesn't seem to linger the morning after the way clonazepam did.
Avatar n tn Now I am post TX and the insomnia has not yet left, so they prescribed Ambien and Lunesta for me (i grew allergic to something in the benedryl). They are all harmless to liver but the ambien & lunesta do cause dependence so I alternate them: Ambien for a couple nights, then lunesta (which does not work as well for me) for one night. The 'dependence' is not a big deal; just means you'll have a several very sleepless nights after you quit them.
Avatar n tn so where u on 4mg a day of ativan and now u swtiched to clonazepam? if so i think the taper/addition of klonopin/lclonazepam has to be done miticulously. ask RCA/Ryan about this. he as schedules for things like this and for tapering successfully. i know valium is used alot to get people off of clonazepam along with a taper schedule. i'm pretty sure the klonopin isn't causing the shakiness and sweating. it's either withdrawls from the ativan or your underlying anxiety returning.
Avatar f tn I take Effexor with Clonazepam. I take 1 mg of clonazepam in the morning together with Effexor and my anxiety is stable all day long. I even went through a separation which would not be possible if i stayed on my previous meds such as celexa and paxil. You can take Clonazepam before zoloft why not? But if zoloft doesn't work ask your doctor about effexor. Just be carefull because effexor shouldn't be mixed with other antidepressants. Do it only under your doctors supervision.
611606 tn?1315517767 I asked for something more affordable and my PCP wrote a prescription for Ambien - it is much more affordable than the Lunesta. BUT it does leave me with the drugged feeling when I wake up and I have to be sure I have 7-8 hours to sleep because it does put me out! I have both on hand and haven't taken either in about 2 weeks.... they both can produce changes in mood and I had experienced not so good thoughts on the ambien.
1006065 tn?1251478669 I tried it three different times and had somnambulance (sleepwalking) every time. The dr. and the pharmacist said NEVER take it again. Also tried Lunesta and Sonata. I was UP for two days on both meds and never went to sleep (reverse effect) so was AGAIN told...don't ever take them! The good news is that, after taking the Clonazepam as prescribed last night...I slept almost SEVEN peaceful hours without waking! I needed that sleep SO badly! I got up feeling so much better this a.
Avatar m tn its been 2 days on That dose, tday im gonna try not to take it. My Doc prescribed me some 350mg soma for the pain and lunesta for sleep. Im going to try taking soma if the pain becomes unbearable, any advice pls?
Avatar m tn Instead of getting better with my anxiety, I found myself taking more and more of clonazepam. My head seem to hurt more and more. I also found myself crying more and more. It seems to me my medication is actually making my anxiety worse and causing my awful headaches. Does anyone have any experience with this? I have been in since bad shape for months. Don't bother to tell me to talk to my doctor. I have been to him month after month.
Avatar m tn this is just my experience, and I'm not on tx yet...I can't take Lunesta and ambien, ambien makes me feel nutzo the next morning, but many people are fine with it...I take ativan if I have had a lot of sleepless nights in a row, and at a very low dose...I find tranquilizers lull me into sleep, which I prefer...best of luck...
Avatar n tn I never tried remeron, but ambien was horrible and so was resterol the taste of the lunesta that it leaves in your mouth is horrible so there is no easy answer but I did find the ativan did help for a while and I still take it with the lunesta and I agree if I get a good nights sleep the next day is much better.
1185895 tn?1266608090 Clonazepam and Cymbalta are safe together and are often prescribed together. But if you're getting weird symptoms from the clonazepam, you should contact your doctor about this and ask him how to taper off. You need to take something for the panic attacks, so going back to your doctor is advisable to determine if maybe the Cymbalta alone is the way to go.
