I have felt a lump under my left breast close to the ribs. I can't feel it with my hand but when I move a certain way or bend over I can feel something there. It's like its getting caught or something. It's not painful but just for a second. It just feels like it shouldn't be there. I am 37 years old and have no history of breast cancer in my family. My sister had kidney cancer and my dad esophageal cancer. I have never had a regular period and have always had awful menstrual symptoms.
I'm not sure exactly what you are asking but I'll try to answer some of your concerns. First I suppose I'll mention that some people do have a reaction to the Flu vaccine and may even have flu-like symptoms. You should mention this before taking the next flu shot. I'm not sure what you mean by ribs "popping out" ... if your ribs are actually breaking then you may have Osteoporosis and should be taking some form of "bone building" supplement or medication.
I have muscle spasm in or around the ribs on left sides (in the front under the breast and sometimes in the back at the same horizontal position, but on the right), it feels like a ball rolling. It occurs even at night during sleep, painful enough to wake me up. I only know that when I relax and stretch (the side where the knot/bulging) using several positions I have to wait till it goes away, in many cases to have it returns. It feels like a charlie horse.
Two years ago I had an episode with severe pain on my left side under my ribs. A CT was done that showed nothing except my uterus was enlarged. The doctors thought it might be GERD. They did a colonoscopy that showed nothing wrong. They have done EKG's, checked my thyroid. All of that showed nothing. However, I still feel uncomfortable on my left like there is a lump or something.

My dr. felt a lump in my left breast so next Wed. I am going for 2 CT scans, mammogram and an ultra sound. If I were you I would def. keep a check on that lymph node.
Two days ago, I suddenly noticed a large lump, about the size of a large lemon, halfway down the left side of my ribcage under my breast. The lump is firm but soft, and painless. It does not move. What can these symptoms mean?
