I have a lump, under the skin, in the palm of my left hand. It looks like a cord to the middle finger and just hurts a little. I also have a small lump on the nuckle of my right thumb which sometimes hurts alot. Are they connected. I am 56 years old and to take daily mutivitamins could the be associated with a calsium or iron over dose ?
About a month ago, I noticed a lump on my palm started coming out..I thought I hurt it when I worked out and would be gone in a few days, but it is still on my hand after a month...I don't know if I hurt something inside my palm or if it is a Cyst or something else...When my hand is under water for a while, it gets harder and starts to bother me more..When I work out, it hurts and seems to get bigger...Can someone please tell me what it could be...
Hello I have a new hard lump on the palm of my hand (at the base of my middle finger). I have some throbbing (which is how I discovered the lump) and also pain when I grasp things (such as the steering wheel). I have read about gangolian cysts, but they seem to usually be located at the wrist from what I have read. This feels like a very hard marble. I am not sure if I should have it checked out, I am just concerned since it is a lump and is new. Any info/advice would be appreciated.
I also noticed a very small lump under my skin near my hip bone, it feels like a small hard ball under the skin. It has been there for about 3 or 4 months now. One of the freckles on my cheek also has a small scab on it the last couple of days, the freckle feels raised and rough compared to the others close to it. Do you think I have something to be concerned about ?
HI guys and gals, a few days i had notice that a lump had started forming under my armpit but as usual i thought it would go away after a day or 2 but this one instead of going away grew bigger and bigger, its now about the size of my palm and has several small lumps on it, the whole area is also pink and i tend to run a fever ever now and then. It also causes slight pain whenever my shirt or arm comes in contact with it. Should i be concerned enough to go to the hospital?
injured my hand by slamming it down on the counter top-palm down. one day later noticed area near 1st metacarpal was swelling.. like a lump .. a small one. went to get x ray 3 days later.. teh report saw a small lucent line at the base of the first metacarpal. waited for the ortho appointment. 2 weeks later.. ortho appointment came.. they told me that it was not broken... but they were casting it anyway. after casting.. a week goes by.. accidentally got it wet... very wet.. became itchy...
Lipomas may present as doughy lumps beneath the skin. The lump may slip beneath your palm when you palpate them. They are not painful nor are they hard. They may occur in other parts of the body as well.
This seems benign. If suspicious looking moles are present on the body and if the lumps appear to grow hard or becomes irregular in shape, then seek follow up consult with your doctor.
Hi thanks for your response, it was actually a blister that popped up on her palm over night, it looked more like a friction blister that didn't have any fluid inside, I could push on it and instead of it bursting it just feels like a lump under the skin. It popped up Saturday morning and now is gone today (Wednesday where I'm at) there is only a red mark there now. This is the second one that popped up on that same hand . That don't sound like whitlow to you ?
m new to this page and have looked around for similar questions, forgive me if this is a repeat. My husband has a serious lump in the palm of his hand, at the base of his thumb, and has had the MRI and there is talk of a tumor. We have been unable to see the specialist in a timely manor, and he is in pain, difficulty using his hand, and not sleeping.
I have had a lump under my right arm for the past two months. Lately, it seems to have got bigger. When I press it, it hurts and moves a little. My doctor has ordered an ultrasound and MRI now; quite frankly, he seemed a little shocked. I have breast implants and was told two years ago that one of them had leaked. Could this be linked?

I am 26 years old. Some months ago a soft long lump is formed in the palm of my hands, both left and right hand. It's bigger on my right hand and it's about 1 inch long. It doesn't hurt except for some slight cramps that happens very rarely, sometimes I even feel some slight cramp or tension that goes to my forearm (don't know if that's related). I had made X-ray tests and it all seems normal. Is this a tumor or anything I should be too worried about?
I have this soft jelly like lump under my scalp and it causes lightheadedness and pain when I touch it too much, it is about the size of a small cookie. I can't find any info on it and I can't afford to go to the doc unnecessarily. Does anyone know what this might be? I haven't hit my head and there is no sign of bug bite or anything for that matter. hey, i have just noticed that my left jaw bone is sore and i can feel a medium sized lump under it. it feels circular and tender and i'm worried it might be cancer plz give me some replies I'm scared. The lump hurts too.
The lump is located (palm-side up) about 2-3 inches below my elbow (pinky side). The lump feels like a bb and its tender. At first there was some swelling, but it appears to have gone down and its not as tender. Last Saturday I went to an Urgent Care clinic and the PA took an x-ray and she said that the x-ray showed a reaction - but the bone was healthy. When she tried to explain what "reaction" meant --- it just didn't make sense.

I'm 22 years old and I've recently noticed a lump that is about 1 cm in diameter under my chin, back towards the neck. It seems to be round. I first noticed it because my neck felt tender and the ear on that same side ached slightly. You can't notice it by looking. To feel the lump you have to push up under the chin near the neck, and then it pops out. I'm able to move the lump to my jawline. It's very, very mobile.
