Mouth feels better today, still have swelling to back of throat and dryness. Dentist had a look in mouth and said everything looks ok. Checked lump under my chin and thought it could be extra piece of bone growth, or perhaps from a bang when I was a child, but feels best to check it out. I explained that since Monday one of my top teeth had been hurting (3rd tooth along in the mouth, left side). I have had a previous root filling in this tooth.
I had a breast reduction 2 weeks ago and 2 days ago i found a lump under my left armpit..i'm assuming it is a cyst but I'm not sure. It feels like a marble, looks red and slightly hurts. I'm hoping it will go away in a few days instead of assuming the worst (like a blood clot). Does anyone have any advice?
ok on the right side about an inch under my ear and an inch from my jaw i have a hard lump under my skin that feels like its attatched to muscle thats there. there is a masquito bite on top of it but they dont seem to be related to each other. does anything know what the possibilities are of it being cancer? i am 15 turning 16 in September.
Upon inspection I noticed an area the size of a half dollar on my skin that is red and very tender. It extends from the areola toward the collarbone. Underneath the skin there is a small lump that is about 1/2 inch across. When I pinch the same small area of the left breast I get only about 1/8 inch of just skin, so obviously something abnormal is going on just under the surface of the right breast.
I'm 34, no history of cancer in my immediate family. I have had lumps in my armpits quite often, but not at the present. Once had some under my earlobe. Does anyone think this could possibly be something to further investigate or just assume it's the lupus (if any of you are familiar with lupus symptoms....

My underarm and underarm fold is tender and there is pain above the collarbone and left shoulder. There is also a swollen lymph node under my chin on the left side and I complain from shortness of breath lately. However, the breast looks normal and there is no obvious changes compared to right breast. I saw the doctor today (Wednesday 13, 2010), she examined my breast, and noticed that the underarm lymph nodes are swollen but she could not feel any lymph nodes above the collarbone.

I spotted a lump on the righ side of my neck about a month ago. No pain or skin discoloration. It's about 1.5 Cm by 3-4 Cm flat muscly type lump. Got worried and went to see my GP who prescribed X-ray and Ultrasound. They showed nothing. He said come back after a month to see if it changes in any form which it didn't. I went back last night and he recommended an MRI which I'm scheduled for next few days. I have back pain all the time and anxiety waking up in cold sweets some times.
These lymph nodes were located on the left side of my body only - my armpit, partway down my arm towards my elbow, the collarbone area, and right under the areola of my breast. I believe that some of the lymph nodes in my groin might also be enlarged as well. After a couple of weeks, they didnt go away, so I went to my doctor. She found another enlarged lymph node on the right side. She did some blood work and kept asking me if I injured my left side somehow.

I noticed a few months ago a small mass on the back of my neck (To the right of the spinal cord, right under skull) and have been having a stiff neck. I had surgery on my collarbone about 7-8 months ago... I thought that was maybe causing my neck pain but I am starting to think differently. The mass is about half the size of a golf ball and seems pretty solid. Really ever since I have noticed it around the time of my surgery...
I discovered a small movable painless lump (pea sized) on my neck (under the skin) on the left side above right above my collarbone (in line with my ear). Any idea what this can be or what concern I should discuss with my doctor. I have an appointment scheduled for last week. When I was 18, I discovered a lump on the left side as well....but it was very painful. It grew to the size of a small apple and the doctors were very concerned.
Women are in need to known about a rare form of breast cancer. It is called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. It is a rare but aggressive form of cancer that does not present itself in the normal fashion. It almost never has the "Tell-Tale" lump which is in the breast but may show as a lump under the arm, or around the collarbone. Many Dr's aren't too familer with this Dx as they only come across it in school.
MY ONCOLOGIST TRIED TO BYOPSY THEM BUT DID NOT SUCCEED AS THEY ROLL. BUT NOW I ALSO FEEL TENDER AND A LUMP UNDER THE COLLARBONE AS WELL, I FEEL A BIT UNSETTLED ABOUT IT ALL. I AM GOING TO ONCOLOGY ON THE 28TH FEB DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS, NO ONE SEEMS TO BE SURE IF ITS OK OR NOT, SO NOTHING IS HAPPENING, AND AS I SAID i AM A LITTLE NERVOUS NOW, I WOULD RATHER THEM NOT BE THERE AT ALL. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.
The ultrasound showed nothing but the cyst, I did think it was odd as the radiographer seemd to be concentrating more on the area from the top of the breast to just below my collarbone and under my armpit. Do you think I should be overly worried?
I started noticing swelling above my collarbone and under my L. arm back in April. The swelling above the collarbone is not a hard lump, the swelling comes and goes, but it does this all day, everyday. The swelling under my arm is not a lump, however it is constant. There is a definate difference in size under my L. arm compared to my R. arm. I had a mammogram which was negative. At first there was little discomfort, the discomfort has gradually progressed to soreness and at times severe pain.
Or it could be a lipoma. It is a dome shaped lump, rubbery and movable under the skin. Do not squeeze, scratch or pick at the skin of the lump as it may lead to infection. It should go on its own. But if it becomes painful or stays after 2 weeks or is associated with any other symptom, then pls consult a dermatologist. Take care and God bless.
Im 18 years old and about 6-8 months ago i found a marble sized lump just under my jaw around the epiglottis area. Then about a month and a half ago I began to find another lump on my left supra clavicle area. This one is much larger! I went for an ultrasound and chest xrays and they both came up normal. The lumps aren't painful and are slightly movable. I am very active and they don't bother me then either.

In mid September, I have noticed slightly and sometimes painful swollen lymph nodes in groin, lower back and collarbone. They seem to feel worse when I drink. In September also, I have noticed that I am sweaty during the day and have a burning sensation come and go in my legs and arms. Plus, I seem to more sensitive to heat. Also, No fever through all this. Plus, I have a small lump under my tongue that appeared in September. Does anyone think this could be hiv?

Hello everyone! I'm 26 years old and last week found a small, hard, round lump in my breast. It's about pea sized, maybe a tiny bit bigger. It's quite firm, and very near the skin, about an inch above my nipple (I have very large breasts). My breasts are typically quite lumpy but this one seems different. I am very in tune to my body, and noticed this lump easily, and don't think it's been there very long.
Tonight my mom found a quarter sized, flat knot under her collarbone on the left side. I'm scared to death. She's my best friend. She's my everything! I'm a worrier and she's totally optimistic all the time. I'm 18 and while I should be an adult; I can't be without her. I can't be away from her. Without her I don't know why I'd be here. I shouldn't jump to conclusions I know but is there any possible way this isn't cancer? She's a hairstylist.
under arms, neck, collarbone area and groin. And even then, if you develope a enlarged node, the chance of it being cancerous is slim. My guess is you somehow tweaked your arm while doing cartwheels or possibly slept on it wrong. If the pain or lump doesn't go away in a few days, it might be a good idea to see your doctor.
My throat is now showing swelling around the glands under the jaw, gettin intermittent throat and mouth pains, feeling of a lump in the throat (which I think is mucous coming down). The swelling isn't particularly painful, more uncomfortable. What really gets me is I've had two week long courses of different antibiotics, and while the pain that I originally had has subsided, the other symptoms haven't subsided. Stuff to worry about?
3 weeks ago I woke up with pain under my right armpit and felt 2 small pea-size lumps - one under my right armpit and the other about an inch above my right nipple. Later the same day I developed flu-like symptoms (which lasted a week) which my gp diagnosed me with probable swine flu. During that week, my right breast became warm, itchy, painful and very swollen then returned to normal again about 4-5 days later (without antibiotics).
I have a small, movable *something* around my collarbone. *can slide around under my skin, stays in the same area; left side* *noticed it there for years... 3... 4... 5... 6? don't know exactly how long* Most of the time I don't even notice it under my collarbone, although there are days when it comes out from hiding and sits on top of my collarbone.
