what is it? my under arm hurts when i move my arm.... my armpit is tender and hurts when you touch it.... when you touch lump it hurts but not bad.. feels werid... could some one please tell me what is going on... i dont have insurance or alot of money... please help... scared

s been a while since my last possible exposure (protected, yeah I know)
I have had this weird symptom, a swollen lump not exactly under my armpit but close enough to the armpit
(weird huh?) okay, a swollen lump not so far away from my armpit. It is about the size of a coin not so big and not too small, It is painful to touch (even the slightest touch hurts)
Do you think this is an std related symptom?
I have the same type lump under my armpit as well only mine comes and goes with time, i've had it for quite some time now but it's always just come and gone and until now has never been that painful but now it's EXTREAMLY painful to the point where getting dressed or picking up my 2 year old has become hard to do. i have a doctors appointment today but i'm nervus to find out what it is..
My 53 year-old husband has a lump the size of an egg deep in his right armpit that only recently sort of popped out. By that I mean when he holds his arm up over his head, the distortion is noticeable. He found it a few months ago, but it was much smaller and sort of recessed. Now it is much bigger and painful the way a strained muscle is---it only hurts when he carries things or moves in a certain way.
I found a lump under my left armpit. It's beneath the skin. It's rigid. It's about the size of a pea and painful. I also have a lump in the top of my arm which has been there for many months. That lump is a bit small and feels like it's lodged deeper into the skin. It does not hurt. Do I have reason for concern?
Because I am over weight I have a couple of fatty roles on my sides just under my armpit along the bra line on both sides, but the one under my left armpit ,where the one lump is, has two dimples on it and it hurts constantly, especially when I wear my bra and sleep on that side.
I am concerned that the diagnosis is and it may be something else this time. I did read of a cancerous tumor that presents like a fibroid and the only way to know for sure is to have a biopsy done on it.

Hi, I had a very small bump under my armpit that has been there for a while (3-6months). I think I got it when I shaved a while ago. so about 5days ago it bothered me and I tried to take what was in it out by disinfecting a pin and trying to open it.
Then it started hurting after that. After that it has grown bigger. Most of it is really soft, but there's a part that is hard that scares me. I started doing home antibiotics like garlic and tumeric the next day, and vitamins and codliver oil.
I am nineteen and also have a very painful lump under my armpit. The doctor said it was an infection and put my on antibiotics, but he didn't even touch it. He just looked at it...which my lump is not very noticable by looking at my armpit, but you can definately feel it. It has been about three days for me, and my whole upper side hurts on my left arm, which is the side the lump is on. How is yours doing?? Does it sound like mine?
I am nearly 16 and I have a lump under my armpit. It is quite small but none the less still a little visible in the mirror. It hurts when I touch it, and is now a little itchy

I first noticed it yesterday and I am absolutely petrified because my mum and grandma both had breast cancer and I know this could be related. I haven't told anyone because I'm so flipping scared of what it could be.

Hi im new to this, and im really worried, i found a lump in my armpit that hurts when i press it, i found it when i was nearly 6 months pregnant, i had an ultrasound scan on it and the doctor said that he thought it was just breast tissue that has develpoed under my armpit and that because i have no lumps in my breast i shouldnt worry and that it will more than likly go when im breast feeding or when ive given birth.
I have had swelling under my armpit in a lump that is sometime the size of a almond up to a ping-pong balls size. It started about 4 weeks ago, it was just in one side and my Dr said it was a swollen lymph gland and gave me antibiotics. It slowly went away. I happened again 2 weeks later, same armpit slightly higher. Then 2 days ago I noticed a swollen lump in my labia majora. I went to the Dr who sent me to Emergancy.
s where it is, technically the armpit area, but as far as you can get from the actual pit to still be classified as an armpit. The lump is maybe 1cm, purplish-red, hard, doesn't really move when I roll it around, and feels slightly sharp when I pinch it. It only hurts when I pinch it to try to move it, and it isn't warm or itchy. There is an enlarged pore on one side of it that seems to be where it originated from.
I noticed that there was a lump under my skin. Now, a week later (?) I have three, it seems, and I see a slight pink colour at the points. I don't know if they were all there from the beginning and I just only noticed one of them, or even for how long it's been there, because it didn't hurt till that day. Now, it hurts every day a lot.
I went to a dermatologist, who just referred me to a pathologist that I haven't gone to yet.
I am going crazy over here. What is this?
