One is bigger that the other but the other one's gone now. But the one that still remains is quite hard, and hurts when i touch it sometimes. Also, there is a puss that comes out of it when squeezed sometimes. I'm 14. I'm really scared of doctros, but when I told my mum, I was taken to the Dr, and she gave me anti biotics. The lump under one arm is now gone, but the other still remains there.

I had stop puting on deoderant for a while but only thing happend was the pain went away. I have I history of breast cancer in my family. I'm 28 years old and had recently had 2 cyst's in my right breast drained one was about 4 months ago and the other one was drained just 2 days ago. I had an ultra sound done for the second time and found that I had 7cyst in my right breast. Some big and some little. I was having alot of pain in my breast and in my right arm. The day before I meet with my doctor I discovered a lump under my right arm pit and it was very painful I would say it is the size of a pea.
Hi, I had a very small bump under my armpit that has been there for a while (3-6months). I think I got it when I shaved a while ago. so about 5days ago it bothered me and I tried to take what was in it out by disinfecting a pin and trying to open it. Then it started hurting after that. After that it has grown bigger. Most of it is really soft, but there's a part that is hard that scares me. I started doing home antibiotics like garlic and tumeric the next day, and vitamins and codliver oil.
I had a Lump removed from my left armpit four years ago (It had been growing since I was a child). About three years after removing the first lump one began to grow under the right underarm. I had that one removed in January 2008. Now, I have just discoverd one begining to grow back in my left arm pit again, it hurts and becomes more painful with my monthly cycle. What is going wrong? Is it something I am doing that is causing this problem?
I find it helps if I change my razors more frequently and cleanse my armpits daily with an antibacterial soap. I'm no doctor, but I'd say that a lump that stays there and grows larger is something that's more concerning than a swelling that comes and goes. If your worry persists and/or the swelling gets worse (or doesn't go away in a few days), then I'd suggest making an appointment with your doctor. Good luck!!
I'm not writing to discuss the relative risk involved, but I have been worried about a lump under my right armpit that I found today. I found it accidentally when showering. I wanted to ask about "armpit lymph node swelling." Question ONE: Part ONE: My impression is that swollen lymph node in the armpit are supposed to be deep in the armpit (i.e., in the hollow of the armpit? Is that true? This lump feels like the size of a pea.
examined it and said that it was a lump and although he could not expain the source of the infection, he was going to put me on anibiotics for 10 days and "watch it" he felt that because it hurt to touch that it was not cancer. (He stated that cancer lumps do not hurt) He also asked to get an xray. Will an xray show possible cancer? My dad had lymphoma that they "watched" for 3 weeks and he almost died.
I found a lump under my left armpit. It's beneath the skin. It's rigid. It's about the size of a pea and painful. I also have a lump in the top of my arm which has been there for many months. that lump is a bit small and feels like it's lodged deeper into the skin. It does not hurt. Do I have reason for concern?
Hi I have noticed that under my left armpit, it is slights swollen. It sorta hurts but I think it's because I've been poking the **** out of it last night. I've had this before, and it has gone away. I'm a little concerned though, because im 42 and cancer is in my family. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a big bump under my armpit. I woke up with it one day, you cant see it but if you touch it you can feel it and it hurts really bad. I cant lift my arm up or do much with that arm. I have no idea what it is and i'm a little scared. I dont know what it is.
A couple days ago I shaved my armpit because I felt a little bump under my armpit so a couple if days past and I noticed I had a pimple on top of it so the next day I felt it and it expanded from the inside and when I move my arm to certain angles it hurts a little but I don't know what it is and I need help !
I called my doctor and told him the whole story and he is of the opinion that the skin irritation has caused the lump and the pain. He told me that lymphoma causes larger lumps that are painful to the touch. Also, he said that it is usually accompanied by other symptoms such as fatigue, fevers, anorexia etc. I am not convinced though. Can something so simple as a skin irritation because of deodorant/shaving cause a lump? I am scared to death and I don't know how to treat it.
Doesn't change a thing.
Iv recently found a tiny lump under my armpit, i cant see how a small painful lump would be cancerous? It also hurts when i lift my arms up or stretch my arms out.
I have a painful lump in my armpit..I had an ultrasound that was negative and my PMD is happy with that but I am not. I am still having pain and sometimes it feels like the pain goes down my arm...please ease my mind.
at the end of the 2nd day, the lump under the skin of my armp no longer hurts. Now, I just feel a lump. Everything I said above still holds true, particularly the facts that the lump seems to me in the "muscle area" of the armpit, instead of the hollow of the armpit.
I noticed about 2 months ago, a good size lump or knot in my left armpit, it hurts when u touch it. The way I found it I wasputting on my deodorant one morning and it burned really bad so I stopped using it and the next morning had a knot undermy armpit. I assumed it was caused by the deoderant clogging the pores under my arm and it was an infected hair or something , well it's Been 2 months now and it hasn't gone away. Should I be concerned that it maybe cancerous.
I canno't see the lump (not like a pimple or ingrown hair), it is under the skin. You can only know there is a lump if you feel the area. The left armpit is also larger than the right, I'm guessing from the lump inside. (when you wear a bra..the fat that tends to stick out at the corner of your armpit..the left it sticks out a lot more). Like I said I have had this for years. Everytime I go to a doctor I'am told it is a swollen lymph node and its nothing serious. It does pain me sometimes.
I found a lump under my armpit about a week ago, it is inflammed, red and hurts.
I had this bump under my armpit, bigger than a pimple, when u touch it, it really hurts. Im really worried of what it could be... SOMEONE pls help.

Im 18 years old and about a week ago i noticed a lump right under my armpit, it's not big but it's very painful and hurts too bad to even sleep on it. Im really worried because i was just informed that my mother hasn't been the only one to have pre cancerous cells removed; right where my little lump is. My cousin and a few other people have had them removed. Im terrified and have no clue what to do. It just hurts extremely bad. Any ideas??? Any help please???
Hi im new to this, and im really worried, i found a lump in my armpit that hurts when i press it, i found it when i was nearly 6 months pregnant, i had an ultrasound scan on it and the doctor said that he thought it was just breast tissue that has develpoed under my armpit and that because i have no lumps in my breast i shouldnt worry and that it will more than likly go when im breast feeding or when ive given birth.

I have had a lump under my right arm for the past two months. Lately, it seems to have got bigger. When I press it, it hurts and moves a little. My doctor has ordered an ultrasound and MRI now; quite frankly, he seemed a little shocked. I have breast implants and was told two years ago that one of them had leaked. Could this be linked? Thank you for your time. This discussion is related to Lump under my arm.
Then it finally opened a little and pus started to come out, so it leaked out and i thought it was done but it came back again and swelled again like 2 months later, now, i released most of the pus but now there is a small hole in my armpit and there is a small piece/lump of tissue it looks like that is sticking out of my armpit, approx 1mm in diameter is the hole and I don't know what I should do, will it heal by itself , is the skin going to grow over it? Do i need stitches?
My 53 year-old husband has a lump the size of an egg deep in his right armpit that only recently sort of popped out. By that I mean when he holds his arm up over his head, the distortion is noticeable. He found it a few months ago, but it was much smaller and sort of recessed. Now it is much bigger and painful the way a strained muscle is---it only hurts when he carries things or moves in a certain way.
