hi ,my son(2 years 7 months old) has red lumps under his armpits,belly button, back and breast.earlier we(my husband ,son and myself) were diagnosed scabies so we overcome it with KWELLEDA LOTION FOR SKIN but after that these lumps pop up again (for my son only) every time we change the basement ,we treated him with the same lotion he recovered but this time again we r worried how can we overcome it completely .

Hi: I have a lump under my left armpit. It started off as a small lump and has grown to about 2cm. It was a bit painful to touch but after a few days, when squeezed, it drained some pus. It has decreased in size but it is somewhat still there and seems more unmoveable and attached to the skin. It is no longer painful to the touch.

Then it finally opened a little and pus started to come out, so it leaked out and i thought it was done but it came back again and swelled again like 2 months later, now, i released most of the pus but now there is a small hole in my armpit and there is a small piece/lump of tissue it looks like that is sticking out of my armpit, approx 1mm in diameter is the hole and I don't know what I should do, will it heal by itself , is the skin going to grow over it? Do i need stitches?

Hi Everyone, I'm 31 years old and 21 weeks pregnant. I have this painful lump under my arm that is getting bigger. I have a 21-month-old daughter and when she was 6 months old, I had the same thing and I went to the emergency room because the pain was too much. The doctor gave me antibiotics and said that it was too early to lance it (drain it). I was a bit happy about that because I was afraid of them cutting it open.

After feeling it, there wasn't much to feel but over the past 4 days it has developed into 3 hard painful lumps under the skin, no discoloration, slightly larger in size than a pea, and increasing in size and pain everyday. Pain feels like a bruise. It's even hard for me to use my right arm to lift things or just lift my arm for that matter. i haven't had any other symptoms other than this. I am 34 and have an extremely painful large protruding lump under my armpit. I have never had anything like this every before. It is growing rapidly and now changing to a pinkish tone. i have the same problem, i get the rucurring lumps under armpits, inner thighs an on my bottom, 90% of them are painful, an some come up an are sooner gone with out a problem, i get them all the time, some have pus an blood an some nothing but just a lump, an have been to the docs numerous amount of time ive had antibiotics, creams (bactroban) an nothing seems to help, ive had blood an sugar test an everything seems to be normal.

the hospital doctor gave me antibiotics and pain killers , 2 days taking antibiotic and it seems its not getting any better . the skin under my armpit starting to pill and very much red and painfull what can it be ? how come both armpits start having this bumps ? please help ..... the doctor dident even order a blood work on me .

Can you describe more about the pus? An armpit lump refers to enlargement of one or more lymph nodes under the arm. There are plenty of reasons for this to happen: bacterial, viral or fungal infection, cancer or just benign cyst or lipoma. It would be best to visit your doctor for proper evaluation and management.
