Hi. I'm going to try explaining the ultrasound findings per item as follows:
1. "endometrial thickness 8mm..." Endometrial thickness refers to the thickness of
the mucosal lining of
the uterus. The normal thickness varies depending on what phase of
the mentrual cycle the woman is in. The lining is virtually absent during menstruation (day 1-4), and thickens to an average of
14-16 mm during the secretory phase (day 15-28) of
the cycle. A thickness of
8mm is probably normal.
