lump on spine

Hello, I have noticed a lump on the back of my neck. It is only on the left side. It is in the area circled in the attached pic. It is scary and i really just want too know if there is a chance it could be nothing to worry about. I had a few random panic attacks a couple months ago, and ever since ive been thinking something is wrong with me. So im hoping that it could be nothing. I hope that its not cancerous. If you could tell me the possibilities, it would be great.

I have this lump on the back of my neck, I've always had it, but not when I was a very young child. When I touch it, I can feel that it corresponds with my spine. Is there a way to get rid of it? Would it help to improve my posture or start sitting up straight?

I just noticed a small lump ON the middle of my spine, on my neck about an inch below the hairline. Its the size of a marble, and not noticeable without palpating the area. Its painless, and moves very slightly only when I relax the muscles in my neck. Any suggestions on what this may be? Is there even lymph nodes near that spot? 24 yr old smoking male if that helps at all.

I have the same type of lump in the middle of my neck like right on my spine. I also thought I slept the wrong way because I can feel it grow in my sleep and that's when it bothers me or hurts the most.

I noticed it about a year or 2 ago and it's about the size of a 50 cent piece. The lump itself isn't painful but I often constantly have really bad back pain in center of my back on my spine between my shoulder blades. I haven't been in any traumatic accidents or anythjbg like that. I just have a always had a lot of pressure/pain on the spine between my shoulder blades and it showed up one day. Any ideas what it could be?

I have noticed 1 lump on my neck (not the same one as before). the lump is at the back of my neck, up by the top to the left. The lump is small, pea size, it's sort of hard, it doesn't seem to move that much when pressed, it doesn't hurt that much when I press it down, but I'm sure it did burn a little when I did it not long ago. I am 17, male... Can someone help me out a little ? thanks..

i have a knot on my back, my dr thinks it might be a fatty tumor, they just did a ultrasound, waiting on the results never bothered me,now its sore wonder if its the kind of work i do, housekeeing at hospital been noticed for 4 months or so

I have a lump on the right side of my spine the size of a grape. it cause pain to shot down my legs. it causes my legs n middle n lower back to go numb n feel like they r on fire. and it cause me to have serve headaches n being lite headed. I cant sit, stand, lay cant not move much. it is bad n I have other health issues. can someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a lump on the bottom of my neck on the left hand side. Every time I rub the lump it hurts really bad and releases tension allowing me to crack my neck. I can't quite figure out what the lump is and if it is harmful. I think its pressing on a nerve. The lump is sometimes swollen and sometimes not. Does anyone know what it could be? Yesterday, I found a hard lump on the right side of my sacrum. It's bone hard and not movable.

My cat has a huge lump on her back. It is where she had a bite/scratch (dont know which). We noticed the mark last Wednesday because she would meow a bad meow when we pet her there. She has fleas if that is relevent. And she had gotten outside the same night we found the mark. So we dont know if it is from the fleas, herself, or another animal. I just need to know what is wrong with her and why there is a huge lump right along her spine.

I asked him why it is different now then it was then and he said if I had significant weight loss recently that it would (I have not) and when he was pushing around on it there is a specific spot that hurts on this bone or lump or whatever it is which I told him that it is tender when he pushes and he had no answer for that. The lump is located near the end of her spine, close to her tail. The lump feels squishy, like it is filled with liquid. It is about and inch in diameter and about half an inch tall. I tried to find something on Google, but could find nothing. I breed rabbits, and occasionally during the summer some kind of larvae gets under their skin and forms a lump, but since it is winter, I do not think this is likely.

This condition is getting very aggravating. I have had a lump on my left clavicle for 2 months. I went to two different doctors. One gave me a muscle relaxer, which was NO help. The second one diagnosed inflammation and put me on a steroid pac for 6 days, which helped with the pain in the shoulder area, but as soon as the medicine was gone, the pain came back. The lump never went away. X rays came back negative.

Can a lump in my breast cause a nerve in my upper back to be pinched? I don't know if it has anything to do with it but my upper back feels pinched along with my leg and numbness in my toes. A few days later, however, he called me up and is sending me for a chest Xray and CT Scan of chest.

What I have found out so far about lumps is that it could be an infection somewhere in your body that could make this happen to you and of course the obvious cancer, however we develop lumps everywhere on our bodies. I have a tumor on my left leg, a tumor on my liver, lung nodules, a small tumor on my sheen and who knows where else. If the lump isn't hard then there is no deep concern.

hi, I've noticed a lump on the clavicle bone near the shoulder. Back in 2004 I had a breast mass taken out the was dx with Florid intraductal hyperplasia, focal atypical ductal hyperplasia, proliferative apocrine metaplasia with cyst formation and focal microcalcifications. I am now 50, and do go for yearly checkups. I recently had a pap smear come back abnormal and was said to have HPV. I had to have some cells removed and now I have a pap smear every six month's.

The hump on back of neck I refer to is a dowagers hump that has fused my vertebrae together, I have adult onset scoliosis in my thoracic spine and the lump on ac joint is a bone spur from degenerative changes due to osteoarthritis, which is present in both left and right ac joints.

For many years I have had a lump under the skin near my right shoulder blade, on the side near the spine. It sometimes gets large enough to see. Deep massage causes some pain in the lump but it helps the headaches and tension in my shoulders. It does get smaller with massage but never disappears. m not sure if having the LP damaged something in your spine or not. I can tell you that I have horrible pain in my back. On my MRI it showed that from the 2nd to 7th vertebra I have complete demyelination. I know you know this but just in case someone doesn't, that means that the insulation (myelin) is gone and my nerves are bare. Even just moving certain ways can cause the worst pain I could ever imagine and I've had 3 children. Have you had anything like that show up on an MRI?
