I woke up this morning with a lump on my elbow about the size of a golf ball. It is soft and does not hurt. There is no redness or heat. Any ideas?
Around the beginning of Summer, I noticed some type of lump/swelling on my inner elbow, right above the crease on the side closest to my body with palm facing up. My doctor said that it must be a hematoma and that I might have bumped it without noticing. After a several months, the swelling decreased and nearly disappeared, but it has recently come back. There is no discoloration and no lump can be felt beneath the skin when my arm is bent.

Does it involve a lot of movement or rotation at the elbow joint or constant pressure on the elbow for long hours? Is the swelling on the inside or outside of your elbow joint? Do you remember any history of trauma or injury to the site? This could be - tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, olecranon bursitis or synovial cyst of the elbow joint. 'Tennis elbow is a condition where the outer part of the elbow becomes painful and tender.

A few years ago, I found another one on the right hand on the middle finger in the middle joint. Doesn't bother me so I left it alone. Then about a year ago I got a lump on the top of my left foot that turned out to be ganglion also. Had it removed in Oct. Two months later another one appeared a little further up on the top of my foot. Had it drained and steroid injected. Three months later the same thing happened, but it was a bit bigger. Had it drained, no steroid.
The pain seems to be all around the elbow joint and in the muscles both in my forearm and tricep areas. I am going to go for physio but any ideas what i could have done because its so sore.
My arm where they took the blood had a massive bruise (which is unusual for me I have easy veins) and my elbow joint felt very heavy. A week later I have noticed the bruising has subsided but I now have a very promenant lump at the site where the blood was taken from. My inner elbow feels weird and heavy. Does anyone hae any idea what this is and should I be worried?
Today, a week later, I have the pain in every joint, my entire jaw, have a big lump behind my right knee, which is the worst joint pain of them all... I have been having sudden and severe abdominal pain, some diarrhea, shoulder pain, Mussle pain in my back, as well as chest mussle pain, pain on my heels, etc. I have had a few migranes, nausea, and feelings of being disoriented, or choppy or slurred speech at times.. I described it to a friend as almost like I am coming out of annestetic.

I just registered on here today to see if i could find anything for that exact symptom. I am 21 and having the same syptoms in my right arm I thought maybe it was contributed to being on the computer all day at work and got a wrist brace for when I type, that has not helped, I have gotten to where I have to sleep on my left side with two pillows in front of me to lay my right arm on and it still does not help that much I wake up off and on all through the night.
Hi, For the past 2 years or a little longer i have noticed i have a lump in the inside of each elbow joint as well as a lump in the same place in both my upper arms a little bit above it around the same place for both, they have not grow at all, nor sore to touch i can move the ones in my upper arms freely but the ones in my elbow joints not so much. I am a little scared about this thinking the worst. I have no other symptoms really. My Mother was diagonosed with rhomotid arthrtis a year ago.
MY ARMS ITCH AT ELBOW JOINT AREAS INFECTED BY SCRATCHING DUE TO ITCHING.
I checked the rest of her body and her right ankle looked like it was protruding. She had a hardened lump on top of her ankle - painful to the touch. I gave her pain reliever she went to bed. The next morning the swelling was gone but her wrist was bruised. The lump on her ankle was gone. I contacted her doctor who set up an appointment for Deleilah with a dermatologist for Thursday (5-9) Wednesday (5-8) she woke up with two lumps on her head.
I had also recently flown to Alberta and had been a little run down from my travels. Monday morning, I noticed the joints on my left hand seemed stiff. I've had carpul tunnel (sp?) so O wrote it off as that or, possibly a pinched nerve because my back and neck were quite sore. By the afternoon, both hands, my left elbow and left shoulder felt stiff and achy.
No signs of swelling or deformity. Today, I discovered a lump about the size of a pea on her back near where her left wing connects to her body. When I tried to feel around and look at it she was trying to bite me then limped even worse. I think it is all connected somehow. Can't get her to an avian vet until at least Tuesday. Any ideas on what to expect?
Doctor, I have a hard lump on the back of my left wrist, that I think I've had for at least a few years. It seems to extend from at or about the point where my forearm bones meet at the wrist joint, into the "Anatomical Snuffbox". In the adjacent direction, it seems to be about three quarters of an inch across, and it sticks up enough to be easily felt, but not so much as to be noticed by anyone, but me. I'm willing to send a photograph, if you want.
I also work on a computer all day and have been having a pulling feeling under my arm when I put my elbow against my body on the same side as the mass.Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Tuesday- several “shotty” nodules on the left side of my neck. Joint pain in my right shoulder and elbow. Temperature normal during the day, but up to 99.5 at night at times. Still tired. Wednesday- began taking adderall to help with studying. Loss of appetite. Now have around 5 shoddy lymph nodes on left neck, two on right neck. Highest temp recorded was 99.9 Thursday- Feeling around the same, still tired, kind of weak. Nodules still swollen on both sides of neck.

They don't come on the palmar surface of my fingers, just the sides and tops... and never on the back of the hand, only just to the joint where the finger meets the hand (MCP joint). They measure between ~2mm and ~8mm in size (usually 3-4mm), are red and slightly raised, and aren't filled with fluid. Clumping around the joints is more likely than on the shaft of the phalanges. They're painful (well... uncomfortable) to touch or rub, and usually disappear within a couple of weeks.
However, the last few weeks I've had some slight discomfort in my wrist and elbow (both on the right side). I attributed this to tennis and using the computer, and it isn't very painful. Last night I had some similar pain in my left elbow, which seemed a little strange, so I went online and found an article about RA. I was very suprised when I read about Rheumatoid nodules, which seemed very similar to the lump I had, even though it was not near a joint and seemed to be caused by an injury.
Grandmother (biological father's Mom) a couple of times in my younger years...then only got to speak to her on the phone later on life...bc her & my other grandmother (Mom's mom) were still good friends & spoke often via phone. (Portuguese Grandmother lived in Calif.). My aunt told me that years ago...my real Dad had to move back in with my Grandmother (his Mom)...due to his progressive disabilities of MS! I'M FLABBERGASTED!!! I've been searching all this time...
up high on the gum well above the tooth is a pressure sensitive area that is also raised, like a big dul lump. years ago i took an elbow to the tooth/crown playing basketball and it loosened the tooth. I never fixed it but it firmed back up and no pain. i have always had this raised boney like area high on the gum and i just figured it's normal for a crown and post to create a raised area on the gum. I assumed it wasn't an infection because it didn't smell or hurt.
About 6 mths ago had small 1" soft lump under skin below left collar bone a few inches from base of neck. This small lump area still exists but have developed pains from base of neck, across my left collar bone/upper back area to the shoulder/arm joint & down towards elbow. Some left shoulder to wrist tingling occurs daily but radomly. Pain hurts some but is not unbearable and can be agrrevated by head turning & lifting up of arm .

I have had back/hip probs since I was born -- born with NO hip joint in pelvis or ball joint on leg on my left side!! Just had bare bone rubbing up n down against pelvic bone. No one knew for 52 years!! I know, sounds impossible. What's impossible is that I did not know this until I was over 52!! If any1 knew, they didn't tell me :( I even used to run, rode horses, all of it. Had weird pain but thought it was from something I over-did.
Ten weeks ago I feel and broke the ball in the joint of my right elbow. ER set it and put it in a soft case with orders to see orthepedic surgeon in one week. I followed orders spending week in recliner, using ice, pain meds and seeing surgeon who removed cast. He gave me a few excerises and sent me on my merry way. I have taken it upon myself to do water excerises and can move the arm in almost all ways but the pain is horrible.
I started therapy today and during the evaluation I showed them the lump i have on my bicep.
