Please HELP US! My son has these lumps on the bottom of his foot. These lump are hollow, nothing inside of them. They are more like bubbles but they are in a cluster. He had 2 clusters of about 4-6 bubbles in each cluster 2 weeks ago but now he has about 15 bubbles in one cluster, 7-9 bubbles in another cluster, and now the thrid cluster he recently got has about 4 bubbles in it. This is spreading and it's painful! Think of grapes..hollow grapes and thats what it's like!
I have with lump on the bottom side of my foot. It could be a corn but it just looks so weird. If i mess with it, it usually feels weird but doesn't really hurt. I can't really describe it well So here's a photo : http://tinypic.com/r/vy8t8k/7 I have no idea what it is.
I have a lump on the inside of my foot. I can only feel it when I walk. I can not feel it on the outside of my foot. It has been there for about 3 weeks now. It seems to have gotten bigger. And now it is hurting a little when I walk. It's located right in the middle of my foot on the bottom just below my toes. Does anyone know what this is ? It is really starting to concern me. I have no insurance at the moment so unless I think it is serious I am avoiding going to go get it checked out.
Today is the fourth day of the itching, but now I have a big lump on the bottom of my foot. It doesn't really hurt, but it feels like I am walking on a ball. The itchy spots typically don't have any redness or bumps, however yesterday I started seeing light red splotches where it itched and on my arm I was seeing small welts as though I had a mosquito bite, although I know I don't have a bite because I watched my arms as the welts appeared.
The lumps get bigger when I put pressure on it, but at the same time when a put pressure in other area of my foot to walk new lump appear on that area. Some times both of my feet are full of this painful lumps and I need to walk on my knees. This can happen sporadic or frequently .
I have developed a small bump or lump on the bottom of my left foot just below the ball of that foot. I may have stepped on something while walking barefoot in my house...I'm not sure but it is quite painful. I have tried applied hot compresses and cold compresses but it is still there and if anything seems a little bigger. What is it? Is it treatable and if so...how?
Can you elaborate on the lump's location or characteristic? This could be due to plantar fibromatosis which are mostly benign growths that occur on the bottom of the foot. The plantar fascia is a thick, broad, inelastic band of fibrous tissue that is found along the bottom of the foot.Plantar fasciitis refers to an inflammation of the plantar fascia and can be the result of some type of injury such as from repeated trauma to the tissue.
I am with Dad this weekend, he has a lump at the bottom of his foot which he has been massaging. It is not a painful lump and he said it appears to be reducing.
Hi My brother has a lump/tumour on the bottom of his foot behind the large toe knuckle on the inside of the foot, I've looked this up and found something about plantar fibromatosis and it pretty much seems to be that (his is about 4cm x 3cm) What I would like to know is is it a problem he should bother going to get checked out?
A test you can do at home is lay in bed and have your hubby push the bottom of your foot toward your knee specifically the toe of the foot. Extend it back. (Hope this makes sense) If there is extreme pain with this...I would definitely get checked ASAP.
Then I noticed that blood was pooling at the bottom of my foot. It has been three weeks since it happened and all of the discoloration on my leg and foot are gone, but I have a knot about two inches wide where the dog hit me. It does not hurt at all to touch it, but it is rock hard. I'm not really sure what it is and why it hasn't gone down at all. Some people told me that it might be the bone trying to repair itself and other people thought it might be a knot in the muscle.
Yesterday, the pain got worse when I was in the shower so I looked again, this time there were 3 separate, red patches on the right side of my toe by the nail, on the bottom of the toe, and on the left side. Two of them look like they almost have a center, and the areas are hard to the touch. I also noticed that there was a lump at the painful spot in my heel, about dime sized and located on the back outside bottom of my left heel.
If I extend my leg fully while lying down and point my toes up and down as though going thru stretching exercises with my feet, I get intense pain in the bottom and ball of my feet...also in one or two of the toes. Stretching and working thru the pain seems to help after a while....but it is expecially painful in the morning. I've tried wearing gloves and putting that sport cream on my thumbs and palm...and that might be helping a bit, but I'm not sure.
) Now my lymph nodes are swollen and its achey all the time. Also have a small lump on the bottom of my left foot. Is that from lymph nodes draining? I have had STD testing and my paps have came back normal. What type of infection could it be? I do notice some more discharge than normal..usually the 2 weeks before my period. No smell or wierd color....I am making a GYNO appt. I dont have a "regular" doc.
I currently can only wear slip on beach sandals that have gel padding. The bottom of my foot is also very sensitive and I cannot really bend my toes. Here are3 my test resluts. ELECTRODIAGNOSTIC FINDINGS: Low amplitude with normal latency in the left peroneal motor nerve conduction study. Borderline low amplitude with normal latency in the left tibial motor nerve conduction study. Low amplitude wit normal latency in the left sural sensory nerve conduction study.
I have a similar problem. Last June I developed three sore lumps on the bottom of my right foot (one on the heel and two on the ball). Two podiatrists have diagnosed them as chronic reoccuring calluses. As you can imagine, I didn't like this diagnosis because they are painful and apparently they are not preventable. I never had anything like this before in my life and today (February) I have a fourth painful lump starting.
For the past 6 months I've had a lump / cyst on the bottom of one foot in the arch area. When I get pedicure's it tends to go down in size. But once I've walked for long periods of time it aggravates it. I know that as a child I had to have about 5-7 big splinters removed from this foot (from a wooden ladder in salt water). My question is there a cure for this or should I have it drained / removed?
Lately, often, but not always, it feels like there is a lump on the bottom of my foot when I walk. It's towards the outside of the left foot. In addition, I often have severe leg cramps in my lower/left back of leg that shoot down and freeze my foot into a weird position. I went to a podiatrist when it was just the toe numbness. He thought it might be a neuroma. I got a shot of cortizone. Didn't help. I gave up on it and figured I'll just deal with it.
Hi Fritter, I am a podiatrist. I am curious to know if the bump is more on the side of your heel or under the bottom of the foot. I agree an MRI would be very helpful in diagnosing this condition. If the pain is more on the inside of the heel it could very well be a severe ankle sprain with torn ligaments, a sprained or torn posterior tibial tendon as previously mentioned. Does this pain ever radiate down to the bottom of your foot or toes?
also with my last comment, its a hard lump, like its a bone and connected to everything. kind of like the one on the inside of your foot, but smaller.
I also have a lump on the right side of my vagina triangle on the pubic region its about the size of a marble well a little bigger and all around it is swollen it hurts to touch or if any pressure is placed on it. Being fair I get really bad ingrowing hair which exfoliating does not cure, however have never had a lump like this, what should i do? just leave it?
(This was many years ago. Ended up being a sesamoid bone on the bottom of my foot.) I'm telling you this because those breaks can be hard to find. Or it could be some type of nerve damage. I don't know. My best advice is to see an orthopedic doctor. You may wish to consider wearing an ankle brace, available at CVS, Walgreens et al. Ice may help your swelling. But above all try to get in to see a doctor who can diagnose.
Hi i was wondering if anyone can help me, I have had a lump in my lower left leg for 2 years now every now and then it swells up and gives me pain its in the left leg and its about 3 inches above the ankle in a straight line it gets really painful gives me pain in the the bottom of the foot and in the ankle and also this might sound strange but it sometimes feels as if someone is dripping cold water down my leg, does anyone know what this could be. Thank you very much.
So in closing if you get a second opinion and that you only have a bone issue and nothing else going on it would suggest you push to be put back into a cast it made my life easier as crazy as that sounds. in the cam I was also experiencing numbness in the bottom of my foot and in the last 2 toes on my foot. In the cast all is well except for the swelling which is still extensive at times. My injury ws on 6-15-07.
I have a huge cyst on my inner right thigh that is the size of a ping-pong ball. It is a soft lump on top of a hard lump and is soooooo painful that it is hard to walk. Currently, the area is red, with the top part purple. It is enlongated and rubs my other thigh when I walk. So far, I have been soaking in an Espon salt bath and/or holding a hot part water, part epsome salt compress to it. It is very painful.
No signs of swelling or deformity. Today, I discovered a lump about the size of a pea on her back near where her left wing connects to her body. When I tried to feel around and look at it she was trying to bite me then limped even worse. I think it is all connected somehow. Can't get her to an avian vet until at least Tuesday. Any ideas on what to expect?
5 months ago I trod on something (maybe glass) and cut the ball of my foot. It was extremely painful. I couldn't see anything in it but after a few days went to the dr who also couldn't find anything. He later anaethetised it and had a look. Still painful but now around where he stuck the needle in!. Went to podiatrist- he dug around and seemed to get some slivers of glass out- but still painful.
If you read enough **** on the net EVERYTHING is a sign of herpes: a headache is a sign of herpes, a sore throat is a sign of herpes, stubbing your big toe is a sign of herpes - I defy anyone to read enough of those hysterical websites and not get worried that they have herpes.
I had my left popliteal operated on the 28th of August this year (because it suddenly swelled on the early week of July, and the lump spreaded to the entire knee as well as the bottom-left of the thigh - above the patella); and then a washout done on the 3rd of September. Before the surgery, I've had an MRI scan of my left thigh, and the report told me I had Infected Baker's Cyst.
