A few weeks ago I found a hard mass/lump in my lower back on the left side and a smaller lump on the right side. It has been causing pain relating to lower back pain (stiffness, pain "slouching", pain straightening my back). This lump seems to feel approx. 1 - 1.5 inches on the left and a .5 inch on the right.
On a side note, the past few weeks (starting a 2 weeks before noticing this back lump) I have had a sore area in my throat (not a sore throat!
it feels like i have a lump in my throat. its hard to breath, swallow, talk, and its only on its left side.. the drs are givin me the run around, and i dont know what i should do. i got tested for a infectius disease and all the tests came back negative. im scared it may be cancer.. i am a smoker.. dont drink... and i have 3 kids.
Over the last week I have had a feeling of a lump in my throat on the left side in the back above my Addams apple and just below my jaw. There appears to be ever so slight swelling on the left side... But my lymph nodes don't feel swollen anywhere else and the appears to a slight bulge in the area of concern on my neck.
It doesn't hurt to swallow. I don't have a fever or sore throat, or changes in weight or appetite.
I just have this lump feeling.
I am otherwise in good health.
Waiting for appointment with throat specialist said he will give me scope in throat,so nervous,hope they put me to sllep when put scope down throat,do they as have very badgaug reflax,cant even swallow pills.doctor put me on Pantoprazole for acid reflux says like nexium,so nervous hope they find out what wrong,hope not throat cancer or something serious like that from smoking all those years,left side hurts to touch,physio trying laser on it.sore throat in morning too,but gets better in the day.

i have something similar... not on the right side but my left side is a lump right next to my throat. i can push it back to the center and hear a click in my throat. its been there noticeably for maybe 6 months. now my lymph nodes right under my tongue and jaw bone are pretty obvious and haven't felt exposed like they are now. Ive been to the dr 3 times about the lump that comes and goes and they said its normal. same with the nodes.
25 yr female, 2 kids, youngest is 9 months, 7 months ago had my galbladder remove, been tested for diabetes, tyroids and both are negative, not pregnant no chance of that, one appointment (walk in) I complain about a lump in my throat along with a UTI, gave me antibotics and said to come back in 2 months if the lump doesn't go away. Never looked or felt my neck...yah. Went to my doc and said theres a lump by the left side of my tongue, he felt my neck said he couldn't feel it...
I have been having a lump in my throat for several months. After thinking I was getting food caught in my throat and even getting an endoscopy I've begun to think it may be food allergies. I do not find it hard to breath though. Can a food allergy symptom be a lump in the throat or chest without feeling hard to breath? I usually feel this just after eating and I feel very nauseous some of the time. I have a bit of a feeling of pins and needles in my throat sometimes.
ve had the same problem for a few months now - a sensation that there is a lump in the left side of my throat, towards the back of the neck, just above the collar bone. It usually bothers me only in the mornings, especially when I drink cold water. The sensation gets worse when I swallow with my head tilted down and to the left. I also have been getting acid reflux in the mornings recently, which coincided with the onset of this lump sensation in my throat.

I have developed a lump on the left side of my adams apple, even with it (not above or below). The lump is solid and i can move it a little bit. My throat is not sore, doesnt hurt when i swallow, doesnt hurt if I touch around it, only if I touch the lump. Then it hurts very much. I developed this same lump about 6 months ago and the doctor dismissed it as stress/job related. It did go away a few days later. Any ideas as to what causes this or what it could be?
it still hurts when i swallow. it feels like a bumb on the uper back left side of my throat. right above my wizdom tooth. the other side has a bumb but doesnt hurt and feels like it is supposed to be there. i can feel it with my tongue. the bumb kinda feels hard like a bone is sticking out. it is also. it also feels like there is something stuck back there like a peice of food.
i have a 1 cm lump/bump/nodule on the left side of the throat right below the thryoid cartilage. My doctor ordered an ultrasound.During the ultrasound ,the technician told me she saw the lump on the right

It all started about three months ago with a feeling of a lump in my throat. Not an actual lump, but the feeling of one, right below where my adam's apple would be (I'm female though). I'd feel it on and off through the day, sometimes not so bad, and sometimes very noticeable. When I eat or drink anything it gets better though, the feeling of the lump goes away.
I have had a painless lump in my neck for several years. It is on the left side in the same area where my lymph nodes typically swell up when I have a cold. It is behind the upper part of my jaw, below my ear. It is hard, painless (unless I press it rather hard), immovable and about an inch in size. I have had two doctors who have been aware of it, but dismissed it. The first one put me on antibiotics to make it go down, but they did not do anything.
HR would spike in 200s, elevated BP, SOB, chest pain, tightness in chest and throat, heavy lump in throat, flushing, weakness, tingling and numbness in legs and arms...pratcially every known SVT symptom all at once. EP doctor diagnosed it as left atrial tachy. I am 6 weeks post ablation and feel much better. Ablation seems to be succesfful but dr said there were a few more spots that could give me trouble later down the road.
