My sore throat went away but the lump is still there. Sometimes I have pain in my throat near the lump but it only lasts a second and then goes away. It's on the right side of my face, nothing on the left. Should I be alarms or does it just sound like swollen lymph node?? Help!!

My throat is healing, very slowly, but now I have noticed a lump in the back of my throat. When I open my mouth, you can see, on the left side back wall of my throat, a walnut-sized lump pressing against the skin. Some times the lump seems smaller, other times it seems bigger. I have visited throat specialists and they have not even commented on it. I'm just curious to hear if this sounds like thyroid cancer. I am 19-year-old caucasian female, so I am in the risk group :x Thanks!
Its on my left side. Is there anything to worry about? I am having a needle biopsy done in one week. Should I just wait until then to say anything?

It is extremly painful to eat or swallow. About a year ago I had 3 large sores the size of a nickle in my mouth that went away. I do not have insurance and am not sure who to see and am limited on funds. Should I seek a Dr and if so who?

Hello everyone. Has anyone experienced sudden onset of "lump in throat" symptoms? About 2 weeks ago I had a feeling of something stuck on the right side of my throat. Sometimes it is more noticable then other times but it has not gone away. I ahve been having a lot of belching along with this. I figure I must be swallowing a lot of air trying to get rid of the lump feeling. I have not had any heartburn. Should I make an appt. with a ENT or GI Dr.
off and on for the past year or so I have been having this sensation of a lump in my throat. I went to see an ENT and he did a scope (went in through the nose and looked down at the throat), I had a CT of the throat, and an Ultrasound of my thryroid and a Upper GI Series (Barium Swallow).
I have been having a lump in my throat for several months. After thinking I was getting food caught in my throat and even getting an endoscopy I've begun to think it may be food allergies. I do not find it hard to breath though. Can a food allergy symptom be a lump in the throat or chest without feeling hard to breath? I usually feel this just after eating and I feel very nauseous some of the time. I have a bit of a feeling of pins and needles in my throat sometimes.
Around the same time (about 8 or 9 months ago) i started getting this feeling in my throat like a lump. It's kind of like someone is poking me right below the adams apple in that "dip" i guess you would call it and pushing down. It gets worse when i'm nervous, and is better when i first wake up..and gets worse in the evening. I read it was some sort of spasm and nothing to worry about, so i didn't worry about it. Here's the wierd part, though.
I'am 26 years old I have had this lump in my left armpit for many years. I canno't see the lump (not like a pimple or ingrown hair), it is under the skin. You can only know there is a lump if you feel the area. The left armpit is also larger than the right, I'm guessing from the lump inside. (when you wear a bra..the fat that tends to stick out at the corner of your armpit..the left it sticks out a lot more). Like I said I have had this for years.
it still hurts when i swallow. it feels like a bumb on the uper back left side of my throat. right above my wizdom tooth. the other side has a bumb but doesnt hurt and feels like it is supposed to be there. i can feel it with my tongue. the bumb kinda feels hard like a bone is sticking out. it is also. it also feels like there is something stuck back there like a peice of food.
Today I noticed I have what feels like a fixed, hard lump on the left side of my thyroid (I think it's my thyroid anyway--in the center of my throat). It's not visible through the skin or anything but if I use my thumb and forefinger to press on the area where the thyroid is I feel it there. Could this be a swollen gland possibly? It's not near my jawline (although the glands up there do feel swollen also and have for about four years straight).
however, last night, i noticed that the soreness was only in one specific area of my throat. the very back of my mouth on my right side. i checked in the mirror this morning and there is a large swollen lump that hurts when i poke it, swallow, eat, or anything. it doesn't hurt to breathe, or restrict air flow in any way. my questions are this: What could it be? Should i see a doctor? (no insurance/ very little money.
I can feel it when I swallow and sometimes is agrivated by larger or rougher bites of food (this has been off and on for about 6-8 months) ~I have a swollen area/lump the size of a dime on the left side of my neck along my sternocleidomastoideus ~The glands under my chin have (off and on) become swollen ~in the past couple months I have contracted what seems to be some form of Bronchitis or Cold/Flu symptoms multiple times ~Experiencing some weight loss ~Experiencing consistent fatigue, but sti
i have a lump on right back side of mouth in the sinus drainage area and it's painful. i'm always clearing my throat and coughing spells. what is this?
I am curious if I should have him x-ray this area to see if this could be contributing to the feeling of something in my throat which seems to be located in the upper part of the left side of my neck just under the left jawbone area, and now is also giving me a bit of an earache.
I got a stye for the first time in my life on my birthday and it was horrible and painful.. that subsided and I have a really bad night of the lump in throat feeling..(related to anxiety).. and also tightening of my neck muscles.. I also then had sharp pains in my groin and above my inguinal area.. which led me to believe I had a hernia of some sort.. but once the doctor told me it was my anxiety, that all subsided and went away :) ... and then I got another stye due to more stress..
Hello, A week ago I found a lump under my left clavicle, It is right in the middle about hald an inch below my clavicle. It is hard and not tender ot painful. I thought it could be a swollen lymph node, but it doesn't move. It almost feels like it is attached to the top of my rib cage. (I am a 20 year old female, normal general health) I went to the doctor and got a blood test, urine test, and chest x-ray. Everything came back normal.
