Avatar n tn I have two things going background-color: #dae8f4'>on: 1. I have a small (dime-size) background-color: #dae8f4'>lump background-color: #dae8f4'>on the right side of my neck. It is even with my ear near the base of my neck. I have had it for approx. 3 years. It is definitely somebackground-color: #dae8f4'>one in my neck vs. related to my skin as my skin appears normal. It doesn't hurt and it doesn't move. In fact it doesn't bother me at all and I've never really been cbackground-color: #dae8f4'>oncerned about it until a friend urged me to get it checked out. 2. My right thigh - depending background-color: #dae8f4'>on how I walk, how I sit, etc.
Avatar n tn I also have the same kind of background-color: #dae8f4'>lump as Tarrigo but the background-color: #dae8f4'>only thing is that when my background-color: #dae8f4'>lumps get swallen I get painful headaches. The bump comes and goes every two weeks. The first background-color: #dae8f4'>lump was right in back of my neck. Then after a mbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onth of so another background-color: #dae8f4'>one background-color: #dae8f4'>on the right side of it. and of course more headaches. Then another background-color: #dae8f4'>one to right of that the secbackground-color: #dae8f4'>ond. So now there is three. I know I need a check up but my appt is not until next week. Is this normal or should I really be cbackground-color: #dae8f4'>oncern? Thanks!

Avatar n tn This can be a challenging diagnosis in persbackground-color: #dae8f4'>on and just about impossible over a forum such as this. I notice more so when I am nervous or upset, or stress. Its anoying and I really cant afford to go to a doctor....needless to say have upper endoscopy dbackground-color: #dae8f4'>one...
Avatar n tn Sore neck - my glands are swollen and my neck is actually sore to touch, it hurts to turn my head and when I yawn, cough or sneeze I get a sharp pain in my neck. 2. After those symtoms left i have felt a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lump or something stuck in throat and maybe like a small soreness also at time. 357713 tn?1199773985 Well John, about a mbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onth ago I was totally background-color: #dae8f4'>lump free, for a few weeks as well, but without warning it returned, and though I'm not saying that is what will happen to you, as I hope you are cured! I'm just saying that the feeling in my throat comes and goes regularly. Well look further into the spasms, you never know. Good luck! Let me know if you find a cure or if it persists. Keep me informed as I do hope for you it doesn't return.
454221 tn?1259449339 Hi, I'm 33 y/o female, mother of 4, and have had a headache and neck pain for a couple of weeks now. It comes and goes. I feel fine sometimes and then it will come and bug me for a while and maybe feel better again later. No certain time of day that this happens. I dbackground-color: #dae8f4'>on't know what is causing this. My doctor thought it could be due to my seasbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onal allergies, but not sure if that what is causing it.
Avatar m tn Lymph nodes are found all throughout the body, but with Lymphoma and Leukemia it is more often seen in the lymph nodes found in the neck, collar bbackground-color: #dae8f4'>one, armpits, and groin areas...usually. My lymphoma was found in my breast, which is quite unusual. Blood tests and scans are helpful when trying to diagnose blood diseases, but they are background-color: #dae8f4'>only a small piece of the puzzle.
Avatar m tn right now my chest is not hurting where the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lump is. It comes and goes used to hurt all the time. My BIGGEST questibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on, though, is about the background-color: #dae8f4'>lump. According to my symptoms, is there any reasbackground-color: #dae8f4'>on why the background-color: #dae8f4'>lump would get worse when i lay down? Is there a name for this. Trust me, i have looked all over for my symptoms and i can't find it. There are things that are close, but nothing really fits. if anybody can give me some feedback, i would greatly appreciate it.
Avatar n tn We even went to see and ER doctor who did a CT scan of the head and neck. Results came out to be normal....but her pain in the neck persisted and background-color: #dae8f4'>oneday we notice that she had this nodule background-color: #dae8f4'>on the back of her neck. At times her head feels like pounding and pain would radiate to her shoulders. She's very worried about this. Luckily my aunt from california, informed us that she had the same symptoms before having had chrbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onic sinusitis for more thatn 30 years.
Avatar m tn My secbackground-color: #dae8f4'>ond questibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on and equally important is in regards to the nature of cancer background-color: #dae8f4'>lump. Now if I decided to wait before i could see a doctor in the city and the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lump goes away, will it still be cbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onsider a cancer treat or not? In other words, doctor, does cancer background-color: #dae8f4'>lump goes away after ew days or does it stay lbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onger and gets bigger? will be a lunmp that gets smaller and goes away cbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onsider a canncer treat or not?
Avatar n tn 2 days after that (went to the doctor background-color: #dae8f4'>on 7th dec) I noticed a small <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lump that can move slightly background-color: #dae8f4'>on the back of my neck left is painless and doesnt bother me, however I can move it a little bit back and forth...atleast thats what it feels like anyways....I also have been since the weekend getting random numbness in my arms...from the tricep all the way to the fingers or wrist...I am going to go back to the doctor next week, I just worried about this right now though...
Avatar m tn I am wbackground-color: #dae8f4'>ondering if this could be the cause, since the neck stiffness comes and goes throughout the day. Also, I was massaging my neck there is a background-color: #dae8f4'>lump that is background-color: #dae8f4'>on the left side below the hairline. Sometimes it feels as if the stiffness/minor pain radiates from there. Any insights background-color: #dae8f4'>onto what could be happening? Could it be hypertensibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on causing me to have a stiff neck?
Avatar f tn I'm no doctor, but I'd say that a background-color: #dae8f4'>lump that stays there and grows larger is something that's more cbackground-color: #dae8f4'>oncerning than a swelling that comes and goes. If your worry persists and/or the swelling gets worse (or doesn't go away in a few days), then I'd suggest making an appointment with your doctor. Good luck!!
Avatar n tn Hi. The <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lump you have could be cystic in nature as you described it. Do you have a recurrent infectibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on in the head and neck area? that could explain the intermittent nature of the background-color: #dae8f4'>lump behind your ear. Though I do suggest cbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onsult with your doctor for proper evaluatibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on. It is very hard to tell what exactly you are having without the benefit of a good physical examinatibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on. Good luck.
Avatar f tn I have had a sore throat and ear/neck pain for mbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onths. I keep getting a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>lump in the hinge of my jaw like a cyst that when pressed background-color: #dae8f4'>on eventually squishes and goes away. but eventually comes back in a few days. I have had strep tests and the dr thought I had ear/sinus infectibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on so I took antibiotics. It did nothing for me. So again I went in a mbackground-color: #dae8f4'>onth later and antibiotics. No help. What could this be and what can I do to get it properly evaluated?
Avatar m tn He adjusted my neck and back and ribs and sent me background-color: #dae8f4'>on my way. My neck feels good/normal in the morning, but as the day goes background-color: #dae8f4'>on, the pressure comes back... around my adam's apple usually. At night I take a couple of tylenol PM and I sleep through the night just fine. I am cbackground-color: #dae8f4'>oncerned with throat cancer, as I smoked for so many years. What is your opinibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on?
Avatar f tn After reading a few threads, this is something I've been suffering with since Oct 2001 and no doctor has been able to give me an answer. This is the cliff notes versibackground-color: #dae8f4'>on. I've seen THREE endocrinologists (going background-color: #dae8f4'>on 4), an Immunologist, ENT (who pointed towards the thyroid more than background-color: #dae8f4'>once), Allergist, a dentist specializing in TMJ and even a chiropractor which felt like it was irritating my neck with adjustments. It started with a choking feeling in my neck.
