Lump in my earlobe

Common Questions and Answers about Lump in my earlobe

Well, I think his diagnosis is wrong. Within the two weeks after my visit the lump in my right earlobe did get bigger. As for the one in the left it just kind of seemed to be going away, but it could still feel it. As of today, the lump in my left earlobe seems to be getting bigger and the one in the right seems to be getting smaller. Neither one of them hurts now. The only time they have ever hurt was when I first found the one in my right earlobe, but that pain was bearable and went away.
Hello. I get a lump on my earlobe every now and them. They grow to about 1 cm in diameter and are usually not painful or itchy. They go away spontaneously after a couple weeks. However, I got another lump, and this time, it extended down a little below the earlobe. I lanced it and tried to squeeze it, but I couldn't get anything to come out.
A few hours ago I woke up from a nap, and noticed a lump on the right side of my head. It is a little above where my earlobe ends, and is about a quarter of and inch back. It feels very hard, and doesn't seem to move around if i try to push it in any direction. It so hard that I first thought it was my bone popping outwards. It really doesn't feel like its on my skin but almost like its attached to bone? It doesn't hurt by itself, but if i do press on it I experience some pain.
About three days ago I noticed a small lump behind my right ear. It is about where my earlobe and skull connect. It is somewhat hard, and hurts when you put pressure on it. Behind my left ear is completely normal. I have also been getting headaches basically every night, I am not sure if that has anything to do with it though. I'm wondering what this is and if I should be worried or not?
It then got better, the hard lump disappeared and was good for a couple weeks. Now I my earlobe does not have a hard lump but i feel a soft squichy texture,my ear is a bit inflamated and a bit painful when it is touched. What could this be ?WHat Should i Do? Is there any home remedies?
They're moving downward towards my neck and no longer in my earlobes. So I'm curious that why they can move from one place to another? Is that Ganglion Cyst? But isn't Ganglion cyst only appear on joints and tendons?
I'm still not entirely sure if that has anything to do with the cysts in my ears. But basically, my armpit was sore for a day or two. Then the lumps basically disappeared. It might be a good idea to note that I have had a rash under my armpits for a couple of weeks now and when I was scratching my armpits very heavily, I noticed a lump came up (this was before the work-out incident), but it went away as soon as my doctor gave me medicine for the rash.
As of today, the pain and swelling has gone down somewhat. It feels like a firm lump right where my earlobe connects with my head and the skin on and around it has become very scaly and itchy. I'd love some insight as to what this could be and whether it's worth making a doctor's appointment for. Thank you!
and i felt something stucked in my throat,i felt that 1 day after taking my obvous lump on my neck but i felt a lump inside. im so scared now thinking i may have cancer. this coming mon. ill go with ultrasound.hope everything will be ok.
A while ago i realised there was a small lump near my ear lobe just beside my sideburn. I read up online about it and i thought it was a cyst. it doesn't hurt or anything its jus there, over the year i have seen the lump decrese in size but usually it was stays the same size. This morning i noticed a dark black mark on the lump. It still doesn't hurt or anything but now im just wondering why there is a dark mark on it?
Sorry for the title, I want to correct it.
I have a hard painful lump in my ear lobe. I have had a problem with it coming and going. I have no idea what it could be. Should I be concerned?
I found a small hard lump just below the earlobe, like where the ear meets the side of my head. Any idea what this could be? I am kind of panicking incase it's something sinister. I do recall I actually had a spot on my ear a while back (not sure if the 2 are linked but it's something to consider). Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Last night I found a good sized lump behind my left ear, right above that flap of fat that you get you put earrings in. It's hard and hurts when I push on it. I would have had my mom look at it but it was midnight and she was asleep. When I got up this morning to have her look at it she was gone. Do I have cancer, or could this be and allergic reaction to something? The lump/bump is under my skin, which means it's probably not a sist, right?
Just recently i had a cold, sore throat, and more ear wax in my ears than usual. Ive had the lump for about three months. Any thoughts on what it is?
He said it would be rare to get a cancer there well very rare. I do trust my doctor as he is fantastic. I have booked hubby in for ultrasound, but in the mean time we are still really worried. Could you please give us some information regarding lumps in this area. its not on the mastoid bone or partiod gland. its directly up under the ear in the crease near the start of the jaw. in that soft bit. Thanks heaps waiting for your reply.
About a month ago I got a lump on the back of my earlobe. It grew bigger and bigger and after using the internet I found out it was a cyst (I think). It gradually grew smaller then after a week or two it grew bigger again. A couple minutes ago I was looking at it and realised there was a small spot that was dark red and so popped it. A lot of blood and pus came out and so I squeezed it all out but I found that there was a small clear tendon that was inside the cyst.
I have a tiny lump beneath my left earlobe and behind the jaw, in the little soft spot. Now, I read a question almost exactly like mine, however the asker's query was slightly different. Unlike their query, my lump did not appear suddenly. I have had it for a few years now. It hasn't increased in size, it's always just been there for the past few years. You can't see it, only feel it if you press your finger into the skin.
I have a painless lump behind my jaw. Exactly where my jaw earlobe and neck meet. Should I be concerned or is it one of those things that you were discussing with others on this site, that it is only a cyst. or an inflammed thyroid.
I have noticed a small pea-size lump on my neck about 2 inches below and 2 inches behind my left earlobe. it feels somewhat soft and slightly painful when I touch it. There is a mild throbbing --comes and goes -- on the opposite side of my head, above the ear, inside the cranium. These are very new symproms. I also felt tired and slightly noxious today (could be unrelated.
Tonight I noticed a hard, round lump about the size of a pea, maybe a little larger, on the top of my 5 year old's earlobe. It is not red, however, when I push on it he complains that it hurts. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance for any information you might provide.
I woke up with a hard lump behind my left ear about 3 days ago. It actully in the back of my earlobe. It has gotten a lil bigger now and is spreading back towards my jawline. It is red and it hurts a little. Today my cheek area closest to the ear is a lil swollen too. I had one a month ago on my left earlobe, that after a few days it bust in my sleep. Blood and some chunks of white stuff came out. It went away and has returned now on the other earlobe.
It's painful to yawn and to fully open my mouth. There is now a small bump located directly under my ear, behind my earlobe on my neck inbetween my jaw line and the large muscle on the right side of my neck, that little soft spot or pocket inbetween the skull and jaw.... The pain is moving into my ear and causing me to have headaches all through the day all on the right side of my head. Any ideas what this could be from? Is it worth going to the doctor for or should it go away?
The lump is on my right side.... I made an appt with my GP doc today. Because this itching thing is getting way out of hand and I cannot take it... SO maybe she can figure out something. I have had an x-ray of my chest maybe in June for pleurisy, to see if there was fluid in my lungs, but other than that, I have had nothing for my stomach... So, we'll see what it is.
I went to rub my ear this morning and noticed a small lump at the hinge of my jaw, directly under my earlobe that is painful to press on. I was just at my dentist and he didn't notice anything unusual so I'm wondering if this is not a detail issue but a gland issue. Does anyone know what this could be? and will it go away or should I see a doctor or dentist? Thanks in advance for your help.
If there's a bump in the area, there's always a possibility that it may be a tumor. A thorough examination by an oral surgeon would be a good next step. If you have no insurance for an oral surgeon, you may want to go see your regular primary care physician and see if he might be able to find you a referral through your medical insurance if possible. I can't tell you what the bump might be. If its not in the soft tissue, then that means there's a bump in the jaw bone itself.
It is hard and painful when pressed. Right below my earlobe there is a small lump which is also painful. The are in front of my ear is infalmed and painful to press. I am expereincing nausea diffuculty falling asleep and irregular sweating. I also discovered a lump on my scalp aroung the same size as the one behind my ear. The skin on my scalp is also affected with soreness on the lump. What might it be and are the two things perhaps connected?
