Lump in my breast that moves

Common Questions and Answers about Lump in my breast that moves

breast

It is now 11/07 and I never had the mam or u/s. The lump in still in the same place, moves when located and feels exactly the same size. A couple weeks ago, I located a 2nd lump about an inch from the first one - same type of moveable lump except this one is not perfectly round. Everything I read says a moveable lump is not a problem....can anyone give me some advice?
i have a small soft lump around my left nipple and the lump moves when i touch it what does that mean ??????........................
It is a reasonably solid lump and is behind my nipple (or maybe a bit higher) at the back of my breast., and it moves around when I touch it. I thought maybe because I just got a new bra this might have had something to do with it (believe it or not I have just been wearing a training bra! This is my first ‘real’ bra.) Or it could be a total coincidence. Please could you tell me what you think this might be? Thanks very much for you time. Tioni, age 16.
I have a small pea shaped lump right above my left breast in the crease of my breasts. It has grown in the last month and feels like it moves around.
im 23 and I have a lump in 1 of my breast..its been there for maybe 5 years or more and it hurts sometimes only in the spot where the lump is..around my period it seems to feel like pins and needles I guess and it feels a bit tender and my breast in general seem more tender. the lump hasn't gotten bigger and its seems to be moveable and hurts w/e spot it moves..could this be a cyst? also the arm where my breast is at seems to feel prickly like pins and needles sometimes..
I found a lump in breast that literally grew in a manner of hours. I showered the day prior and didnt feel anything. I noticed it after I ate a chocolate bar and took a caffein pill. My left breast has a lump inside the size mayb of a small ping pong ball and the skin outside the lump is pink. My breast feels full, disconfort and the lump moves around slightly. My nipple is fine and the right breast is fine. Please advice...I am just hoping this does not fit the symptoms of IBC.
Im 23 and I have a lump in my breast and its been there for over 3 years. Its been the same size but sometimes it seems like it shrinks.. It seems to be moveable and I only feel achy or dullness in the spot where the lump is or where it moves. Around when my period starts it seems to become worse but lessens when my period is over. The lump seems to have a ridge like texture I dont know can this be a cyst? Im scared to get it checked out (im a worry wart indeed) but i know i have too .

It is fairly large I guess and it doesn't really hurt more than normal, maybe some, but the lump, while it is still part of my breast area, extends down farther on my chest so that if I raise my arms I can see it. I've checked the other one out and found nothing too similar in that area, but I did also notice more lumps that are probably just cysts or a fibro-whatevers because I think my period is due sometime soon.
It moves around and is usually pain less until it gets to just by my breast bone ( where its less fleshy), it is quite painful then. Do you think this is normal? is there anyone else who has to live with a cyst and the doctor will not get rid of it? can they turn into something more dangerous and should you be called within a certain time to have it checked again, or am i just worrying about nothing?
So after the pain stopped, it was only for a few sec each time for a total of may be 3 times in one minute and that was it but nyways so after i looked for the lump in my breast and i think it has decreased in width, although its length is still the same. What is it? i am so scared...why was it hurting like that? Is that cancer? Please help me! i am only 16 and i am so scared right now.
I had this for a month or so and it's a size of a quarter , when I touch around my breast it hurts I'm not sure ... When I move my lump it moves around alittle but not much and it feels alittle lumpy .. Does anyone have any answers please :/ ?

Enlarged (but a lot smaller than the lump below my clavicle) Hard Painless Moves when I touch it (the lump below my clavicle doesn't) I'm not sick or anything. No fever, chills, night sweats, loss of appetite etc. I just get headaches, but I have had migraines since I was little so it's normal to me. So I'm not sure if I should be more or less worried! I really just want to find out what this is! CT scan should show it since they are doing my left clavicle and neck.

I haven't done a self-exam yet this month and this morning I noticed a spot on the bottom of my left breast, more in the area where the breast would start to meet with the chest. I had been noticing that my bra has been fitting differently on that side, like it is tighter and my breast seems slightly fuller and heavier than normal (I am rather large busted). I had been having some discomfort in that area so when I was feeling I noticed a slightly swollen spot.
Im 25 years old and I just discovered a breast lump in the medial aspect of my left breast. Im really freaking out because of the cancer thought. It is about the size of a pea and I do not think it moves. I do not have any other symptoms. I have had one child and have no family history or breast cancer. I went to the doctor and she said it was more than likey hormonal but scheduled me an ultrasound.
I can't say much except that the mass that can be felt has some characteristics that raise suspicion of a cancerous mass. Keep in mind that this is ONLY a SUSPICION and not a diagnosis. There seems to also be a very small cyst in the same area which is evidently of little or no concern. It always takes a biopsy of the lump to determine it's true nature. Many findings may appear to have some characteristics of cancer but are NOT when studied under the microscope.
I mean that my nipple protrudes in on the top from my lump. To best describe it, it is a size of a larger candy easter egg. I will get it checked as soon as I can and go from there. My main concern was if it sounded like cancer or IBC so I will go the ER to have it checked. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer me.
New to this community so here's the back story. I found a lump in my right breast when I was about 17. it's oddly shaped and kinda moves when I touch it. I'm on the smaller side. Im 20 yrs old and still only fit in a 32 A from the little girls section. so that gives an idea of how small I really am. being so small it was really easy to find the lump. I showed my mom and got it checked out. the doctor said it was only a fibroid. he said not to worry because since it moves, it's not bad.
I noticed a small lump in my right breast in the upper left side. It was about the size of a grape around June 18th. Since then it has been increasingly painful and is now about the size of a plum. It is very hard and it no longer moves when I push it. I have tried everything for it if it was a plugged duct but nothing has worked.
I would call my doc first thing in the AM - tell the receptionist you found a lump in your breast...most doc's will try to fit you in for this. My doc saw me the same day but I had to wait a while. If it is sore, try some warm, moist compresses on it - it will help that. I hope that everything turns out ok. I just wanted you to know that I have been there and I know you are worried - rightly so - and can't help but be. Please keep us posted. Take care.
I am 26 years old and one year ago i was having EXACTLY the same problem like you and my lump became like an apple in few months. i was to the dr but in the beggining they said that i am too young to get scared to have breas cancer especially tht i dont hve cases in my family and the send me home asuring me that the lump will disapear. Nothing happend and i went alone and did a biposy and the result was positive: IDC, stage III.
My physicial confirmed that I have a lump and an area of thickening tissue in my left breast. I am 23 years old, not on birth control, former smoker and moderate drinker (not now), healthy weight, exercise often, no know med. problems, family history unknown. The doctor said the nodule is around 1 cm. to 1 and 1/2 cm. Does the size mean that it is likely to be breast cancer? She described it as "almost squishy" and moveable. I am not sure if it moves or not.
I have had a lump in my breast for the past three years and never got a check up for it. I got it first when I was 16. It is located above my nipple on my right breast and is not very large. It moves around slightly and is hard at times. It hasn't increased in size and it is like the size of a pea. It sometimes gives me pain but that is usually either before my period or during it. There are no other symptoms.
hey, i just recently found a lump in my left breast that moves and is hard just like yours. i'm going to the doctor tuesday to get it checked out. i no it is scary, but u should tell sumone so you can get it looked at, to help you ease your mind. from all the research i've done lately in yr age group it probably not cancer . so tell sumone and make an appoint ment for the doctor to look at it i'm sure yr going to be fine.
I just went to the doctor last week because I found a breast lump on my left side, almost in the underarm area. The doctor couldn't find it at first, but when I put his hand on it, he did. He said that it moves but I don't think it does. I think it was because I was laying down and it is bigger when I stand up and feel with my arm over my head. I noticed it about a month ago, waited a month because I had heard that your menstrual cycle can cause lumpiness.
I am 28 years old. I just found a lump in my right breast almost right under my nipple. It is about the size of the tip of my index finger. When I touch it it moves around and it is hard to the touch, a bit sensitive when I put pressure on it. I heard that lumpiness in breasts is common close to your monthly period, but I had my period over two weeks ago. Is this something I should worry about? Should I go to a doctor and have it checked out? Or is this just a silly concern?
while on vacation in Mexico, I found a small (less than .5 cm) lump in my armpit... just to the side of my breast... it feels somewhat rubbery and moves very freely. I have called my Gyn. (about 4 weeks ago) and she told me to quit caffeine (I cut down to one cup of green tea a day but couldn't quit totally (headches!) and take vit. e. She told me to call her after my next period and tell her if it's changed. I plan on calling her as me period just ended and it's still there unchanged.
