My name is Angie i a few days ago my left arm pit started to hurt but no bump then this morning I woke up with a lump right in the middle of my left armpit it hurts when I touch the bump I don't have medical insurance either any way to treat it naturally or any advice I've never had a bump that hurt so bad?
Well, 1.5 years ago, I found a pea size lump under my arm. very near my armpit. It turned out to be IDC. Doc said the tumor is in the 'high-end' breast tissue because our breast tissue goes all the way under our arms. He said it's in an unusual place but technically it is still breast cancer. Please check with your doctor to be sure, that way you can sleep well at nights!
I have a lump in my armpit and I don't really know what it is or where is came from. I went to my doctor and he said that it was just a lump and it would go away in a few days. That was 3 weeks ago. It is still here. I don't know what to do but I hope you people can help me out just a bit.

Hi i'm 21 years old overweight woman. I've been having a lump in my right armpit and it really hurts. The first time i found it was months ago and that time it burst and kinda gone but sometimes it would appear again in my armpit (but not on the same spot), sometimes in my left armpit. I've been using ichthyol cream and doesn't seem to make it all gone.
as for my breasts, I never felt any pain on my breast or find a lump.
should i be worried?

The most prevalent cause of a lump in the armpit is infection. An infection can be localized to the armpit itself (perhaps a nick from shaving) or it can be more widespread.. you may also have a boil or abscess just under the skin.
If it's a swollen lymph node,this could be caused by an infection somewhere in the body.
Found a lump in armpit pea sized dosen't hurt. But right breast has been feeling tender should I be worried I am only 16.
So ive just noticed a lump in my right armpit. I know it can be glands etc and nothing to worry about. But people have told me it shouldnt hurt and it is. Not extremely painful but enough to irritate me and remember its there. You can also notice it by just looking. I will be making a doctors appointment for at the end of the week but just wanna know if I should worry or not.
I woke up last week with a very painful, golf ball sized lump in my armpit. I went straight to the doctor and he said it isnt a lymph node, and he cut into it to test for staph. the staph test came back negative and he packed it full of gauze for 2 days. When i went back to have the guaze removed, it was still huge and painful, so he sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound.

I'm fourteen. A few months ago I had gotten a lump in my right armpit. It was hard, from what I remember. I don't think that I did anything about it (sorry, my memory isn't the best so I'll try my best for details) and it went away after a while. Then another one came back in the same armpit. This one grew big and I only became aware of it when it began to hurt whenever I moved my arm. It was hard as well.
A little over a month ago, a lump started growing in my left armpit. It was hot, tender, painful, and eventually about the width of a quarter. About a week later, it started decreasing in size, until it shrunk to about the size of a dime. By then it was no longer hot or painful, barely noticeable. Then at about 3 weeks it began growing again, not painful, but noticeably larger. After a few days, it started shrinking again. As of right now, it is currently increasing in size, but not extremely.
I'm very concerned... I noticed a couple years back a lump in my right armpit, I believe where the lymphnodes are. But, I felt maybe I was being too cautious considering my best friend who was only 33years old was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is a survivor but is alway concerned with me. I have no health insurance anymore due to my husband losing his job. And recently I've been experiencing pain where the lump is and my nipple are scaling and peeling on that side.
About two weeks ago I noticed a small lump under my left armpit. This was right below my extra milk gland and not painful. I was told I have a lot of breast tissue under this armpit and when I breastfed my children I always had a large milk gland where I couldn't put my arm all the way down.
Now There is a lump and after finding it two weeks ago it is a little larger.
Hello everyone! I have had this lump under my armpit for about 1 1/2 weeks now. At first it appeared as a small bump and was very painful. Then, a day later, it grew bigger and it gradually started to hurt less as the days went on until now. Now, it is completely painless.
The lump feels kind of hard and like an amorphous blob (if that makes sense)...it feels like there are 2 other smaller bumps connected with the larger one.
Yesterday I experienced some discomfort in my armpit region. I felt around, and it felt as though there was a pea stuck under my skin. I looked in the mirror, but you couldn't see the lump, just a red sore.
After a few hours, after poking and prodding it quite a bit, it hurt a lot more. It was painful to stretch. I couldn't sleep properly, as I couldn't lie on my side.
The lump is stationary, and can't be moved.
hi im 41yr old female. i found a lump 3 weeks ago in my armpit it doesnt hurt, been to the doctors who has refered me to hospital for test as she doesnt know if its cancer or not just by feeing it. i go next wednesday. iv convinced myself that it is bad news, iv got no lumps anywhere else, doctor checked my breasts, im worried to death. my neck and shoulders are aching aswell but hopefully i think thats just tension and stress from worrying, iv got no history of breast cancer in the family.
