I am an 18 year old female. About two months ago I located a lump in my left thigh that was on the muscle and moveable. It feels hard, yet rubbery. When I press on it, it feels like a bruise of a knot. I am very concerned about it. You cannot see it if my legs are straight, but when my leg is bent it I can feel and see it. It is smooth feeling and the lump is rounded. I have trouble sitting with my legs crossed as it tugs on my knee.

No, a reactive mass is in reaction to something--in your case the immunization shot. The antigen in the shot starts a chain of reaction through which antibodies against that particular infection is formed in your body. This also starts a local inflammatory process. This process can form a lump that does not get absorbed back into the system. The lump is harmless. And yes, it can persist for 2 odd years and may be more.
A few weeks ago I found a hard mass/lump in my lower back on the left side and a smaller lump on the right side. It has been causing pain relating to lower back pain (stiffness, pain "slouching", pain straightening my back). This lump seems to feel approx. 1 - 1.5 inches on the left and a .5 inch on the right.
On a side note, the past few weeks (starting a 2 weeks before noticing this back lump) I have had a sore area in my throat (not a sore throat!
I have been given lots of painkillers but however the pain still remains and I believe it is referred nerve pain. I also got the lump reappear in the same place as before which again lasted for 3 or 4 days and then disappeared. The pain has lessened with the drugs I'm taking but it seems to be constant accross both shoulders, neck, head and chest area and increases in pain if I do anything bar rest and I have started getting pins and needles down my right arm.
i was cracking my neck one morning and i pulled a muscle i guess and i felt this lump but thought it was due to the pulled muscle.. the lump doesnt hurt but it is some what of a discomfort.. recently i've been tired but i cant blame it on the lump since i dont get much sleep. The lum is small and hard its right between the hair line and back of my neck .. when i press on it..it doesnt really hurt but it does bother me from time to time..
when i lay down (usually on my tummy) and breathe in, i can feel this lump moving up my tummy. starting towards my belly button then slowly makes it was up to the bottom of my rib cage. I can also do this when laying on my back, but i have to apply force onto my tummy to feel it move. I have NO clue on that it is, or if its healthy. Is it a muscle or fat? is it bad?
I recently noticed that my dog looked like he had a lump on his head on one side of his face. The vet advised that this was not a lump but his bone and that the muscle tissueon the side of his face has wasted away due to nerve damage in his Jaw. He had aan operation to move a growth inside his mouth last year could this be cause of the nerve damage , the nerve being severed or damage during the operation. The vet has now put him on steroids .
I am 18 and quite frankly I am scared out of my mind. I am waiting on results from a recent ultrasound, but I discovered a "lump" in my left inner thigh about 2 months ago. The lump is not visible when I flex or straighten my leg. Only when it is bent. I haven't felt any burning, but it feels like an extremely tight muscle that is pulling on the outside of my left knee. I don't know what to think as I don't remember having any trauma or recent injuries to my legs.
I'm 21 years old, I just finished my period like a week or so ago. I've noticed that my right breast pains when I'm pressing on it. The pain can be pinpointed and it feels as if a part of the breast itself hurts. The upper outer part. I don't really feel a lump but then again I'm not quite sure because I'm not sure how a breast lump is supposed to feel like. So what this could be? I don't suffer from any other symptom. I went to my internist the next day and she said that she thought it was a muscle, then brought her partner in to feel it and he agreed. She prescribed me Soma (muscle relaxer) and Klonopin for anxiety. Neither medication has reduced the size or hardness of the area. Before I left my internists office I asked her if she thought any imaging was necessary and she said no.
About 6 months ago I felt a small lump in the left side of my neck, I believe it is located by or is the Suboccipital lymph node. It's no bigger then 1cm and you can ALMOST not feel it when touching from the outside, but definitely is there and feels very uncomfortable for me as I can most definitely feel it inside the neck muscle.
I'm a 16 year old female. I have what feels to be a 3 in. lump under the muscle of the right side of my neck that's been present for 2 years. It's in the middle of the side of my neck and slowly growing to the front of my neck. Doctors did an ultrasound plus blood work and saw nothing abnormal and said it's just me growing. There's no pain but it's uncomfortable and causes pressure on the inside my neck. Do you think it is from growing or something else?
My husband and I had intercourse 3 nights ago and I started having swelling on the outer left side of my labia. It feels sort of like a lump. at the hospital comfirmed today that it is a swollen muscle in my armpit. I am not sure that sounds right, concidering that just four months ago, my Surgeon says that it was lymphnoids, and that we will make sure it does not grow. Hi, I have a lump on the ventral base surface of the penile skin between the hair, it is not attach to the underlying muscle, it is only in the skin, when i pull the skin the hair follicle on the lump is stick to he lump, it is a little itchy, moderate hard in consistency, about 0.6cm in dimension. it is mobile with skin pulled. 1stly there is a little itchy there but there is no lump, later i rubbed there and then the lump came out.
your lump in the throat is probably harmless "globus pharyngeus", in other words, your cricopaharyngeal muscle in your throat is just too tight. Two major reasons for this are reflux and increased stress (and why not both!).

Most voice and swallowing centers tell something about this as it is such a classical symptom of laryngopharyngeal reflux.
