Avatar n tn The stomach or intestine bulge out through a weakening in the muscle wall. Please get a surgeon to examine this. Meanwhile do not lift anything heavy or push hard. It can also be the liver lump which is back again. Please consult a doctor to rule these out. Take care!
Avatar f tn husband has a egg size lump in groin where leg meets trunk, no pain, all labs came back normal. Dr wanting him to MRI. what could this be?
Avatar m tn So I was taking a shower about 10 mins ago and I noticed a decent sized lump located 2-3 inches above the start of my penis. Basically in the pubic hair region, towards the top of that. The left side is flat and as you make your way to the right side it rises about an inch or so. It stuck out to me alot...so it couldnt of been there for long. It doesn't hurt and isn't hard. It almost feels like its just full of fluid or fat tissue or something? Idk. Thanks for your help.
Avatar f tn I am hopeful though so we shall see. Anyway, the reason I am writing today is because I found a lump in my right breast. I went to the doctor yeserday to confirm that that is what I was feeling and sure enough, it is definitely a lump. I have to have a breast ultrasound on November 11th. I am hoping that this isn't anything serious, it could really prohibit me from continuing ttc.
Avatar n tn They can be hernias (a segment of intestine stuck in your scrotum), hydrocoeles (fluid collection in your scrotum), or varicocoeles (abnormal clumps of veins). I suggest you consult with your primary care physician so that he can evaluate you properly. He can perform some physical tests and can request other laboratory exams like ultrasound to establish the nature of the lump.
Avatar n tn Why has my hernia repair left a lump at the surgery site.
Avatar n tn chronic involvement of appendix (many a times ultrasound misses this as the appendix in such cases is hidden behind loops of intestine and typical symptoms of appendicitis are absent), involvement of kidney and inflammation of your intestine. Lower right abdomen pain is commonly due to appendicitis. The pain, can at times come and go and not give the classic picture.
Avatar f tn This may be a hernia as you can feel it move, and there may be loops of intestine or gas trapped. Other than that it can be a superficial lump—a lipoma or an abscess or a cyst. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Hope this helps. Take care!
1034643 tn?1252594904 Since it is associated with vomiting, the lump could be distended stomach, trapped loops of intestine or epigastric hernia. There could be obstruction to the small bowel. Please consult a doctor ASAP or go to the ER since the lump is getting larger and vomiting is worsening. It could also be gastroparesis or slowing of the stomach movement. It would be ideal if a gastroenterologist can see you soon. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Avatar f tn Hi! I am a 22 yr old female. i have a long, sausage shaped lump in my lower right quadrant of the abdomen. i can almost feel movement in it..and it is sometimes hard, and sometimes soft and imperceptible. It does not cause me any discomfort, but im just worried as to what this is? please, please help me.
Avatar m tn What concerns me most though is it feels like there is a lump/unpassed fecal matter/ something in my anus. Its felt this way for about 10-12 days.I dont always feel it, and when i do it feels pretty small....it sort of comes and goes and ill randomly feel it now and then when im walking. It doesnt cause me any pain when i walk or do anything else. I have no bleeding or discomfort in my stools. Ive checked around the area and it looks normal...nothing out of the ordinary.
Avatar f tn For a year now I noticed this lump in by abdomen, on the left side, one inch over and two inches to the left of my belly button, near the ribs. I can almost always find it, it's always on the same spot. But sometimes it seems to hide. My bowel movements changed in the past 6 months, and I seem to find that most of the times my stools disintegrate in the toilet. It's not diarrhea, though.
Avatar m tn Well, I was just listing possibilities. Even endometriosis can lead to adhesions and subsequent chnge in position of intestine...But all this guessing from the outside has no point. Ultrasound may differ among a solid mass, liquid, air..so, I guess she should have it.
Avatar f tn Lol....oh wow. In a case like this I hope it's a baby and not a tumor.
Avatar n tn the main reason is that the clindamycin is a very powerful antibiotic (my doctor put me on 450mg of clindamycin) the down side is clindamycin can kill everything in your body. that includes the good bacteria in your intestine called gut flora. if the good bacteria dies it can make way for a bad bacteria that's immune to clindamycin to grow in your intestine. eating the yogurt (especially yogurts with "probiotics" in them) will help keep your gut flora levels up right now.
438877 tn?1224357489 i had an open choly and 12 months later notice a lump at the incision site (6 inch) at the time it was a lump the size of 1/2 a small tangerine - but in the 11 months it took me to get surgical intervention (uk nhs waiting list) it had grown to the size of 1/2 a melon and was very uncomfortable - a large portion of intestine was through the muscle but was not entraped as the hole was so large - i went to the dr as it was not scar tissue (if i laid down on my back- the lump initially went, but i
Avatar f tn Over the last few days I have noticed a small lump or baby like structure on my lower abdomen when I touch it and it is growing and moing to the center lower stomach. No pain. This is my first pregnancy. Is this my uterus or baby or something to worry about? It is now a little smaller than my palm?
Avatar n tn I have an umbilical hernia, which is where the muscles tore loose in the middle of my tummy and the bowel pushed out in that opening a little bit. It just made a lump where my belly button is, very unattractive, but the pain went away after the muscles healed up, and I have no digestive problems from that hernia, even tho the bulge is still there.
Avatar m tn Last october while i was serving in Iraq i became very ill and was rushed to a combat support hospital. I had a blockage in my small intestine. the doctor said the small intestine was pushing itself inside the large intestine and there was significant ulcerations of the intestine as well as intestinal swelling. he preformed emergency surgery in iraq and was later sent state side. long story short its about 5 months later.
354706 tn?1279470795 Her hernia lump comes and goes. But just a few days ago, she find that one side of the hernia lump has not appeared for a long time while the one of her left side seemed to be a permanent fixture which cannot be pushed back . It is now the size of a very big egg. She did have a low grade fever a few days ago but is now okay. I am not sure but I think the lump is getting bigger by the day. Could this be something else like lymph nodes or something sinister?
Avatar m tn but one doctor said just deal with the pain, its not worth going in to surgery again for nerve stuff. I just dont want to spend any more of my 20s in pain if there is a solution! please help!
Avatar n tn The GI dr should be doing a colonoscopy including your small intestine. The fact that it is a lump in the RLQ, pain, diarreha and fever is very symptomatic of chrons in the small intestine. You need to have a colonoscopy to see what is there. If it is chrons the symptoms will only get much worse without treatment. Are you on antibiotics? Ask the GI dr if he would try this for starters. And save up for a colonoscopy. Best of luck.
