and the lump is still behind my ear and im restless im afraid it will infect my inner ear although the lump is behind my outer earlobe. im afraid the puss might move in to my inner ear and start infecting.... i wanted to poke with needle but im thinkin twice. should i still poke it or i let it be it still looks big but not as big as it was...whenever i try to squeeze it seems to run in my skin and i cant feel much of it....
probably just a lymph node. my sister had a pea size lump behind her ear too. it's harmless and should disappear in it's own accord. but if in doubt see the doctor!
My hamster has a lump either in the back right of her cheeks or in her inner ear... i think it is the ear as her right ear looks as though it is pasted down over the lump, but she wont be still long enough for me to take a look and i dont want to hurt her... mainly my question is: Is there any way i can give her some tylenol or some other pain medication? She keeps squeaking as though she is in pain and i dont want her to hurt.
im not a doctor although i sometimes have a similar sensation. sounds like something is up in your inner ear. could be fluid in your ear that is drying by the time that you doctor looks at it or may be a nerve issue. mine is not really anoying thankfully and is really rare but i know what you mean. have you been to an ENT?
I have this very small bump that will come up between my inner cheek and lower inner lip. it probably is really more the lower inner lip region. Anyway, it is a small bump that will come up every now and then. sometimes days apart and sometimes weeks or months. You can barely see it when looking for it. I can't burst it with my teeth but sometimes when I am sucking on my cheeks and lips it will burst and a salty taste will come out. and then it goes a way for a little while.
My dog is about 7 years old and she is a pit mixed with Weimaraner and she has a bump on her it's a hard bump on the inner flap of her ear, my grandpa is saying it might be cancer and my friend is saying it looks like a tumor I just need to know if that's a possibility. I have a lump in my ear and it hurts when I touch it and other than that nothing goes on and I have one In my cartlidge and on my other ear the upper part of my ear canal I've heard that if I get a sewing needle and pop it and put alcohol it should heel but nothing comes out of it it's just there I haven't gone to a doctor so what should I do it hurts by its self sometimes

I dont rembr if I posted this in my symptoms, but when I 1st went into the E.R.(same 1 w/ the medical college) I saw a resident ENT that was on staff @ that time & he was able to get me into the speciallty clinic ASAP & then I was able to see 1 of the speciallty ENT doctors(not just residents). When I was in the E.R. & the ENT res.
The pain has been throbbing and has radiated all along the right side of my face, primarily including the inner right ear, the right temple, and of course the right side of my jaw. In the past, my dentist has monitored me for TMJ and has only noticed clicking on the left side of my jaw (which is why I'm concerned that this may not be TMJ related).
I was once diagnosed as having vertigo (no testing was done) she said I had no fluid on the ear drum, so it must be the inner ear (vertigo). But now I woke up yesterday with the feeling again and the feeling like somthing is stuck in my throat (left side again). I honestly thought that maybe is was just allergies until reading this forum. Now I am concerned about my thyroid. I made an appt for tmrw morning.
I also have GERD, but have not had any problems.

I have a feeling of pressure in both ears, reduction in hearing ability, numbness to to head and part of face on one side, high pitch bleeping in ears and deep inner ear pain. I feel tired much of the time also. This has been going on for 3+ weeks I have taken 2 different sets of antibiotics now with no impact also nasal spray (steroid). I am unable to pop my ears at all right from the start. I feel a little queezy but no dizziness.
For the past few months both of my ears have felt like liquid was coming out of them. Then my right ear started hurting and popping out of no where, I let it go on for a few days thinking it would go away but it didn't so I told my parents. They put some swimmers ear drops in my ear thinking maybe it would dry up any wax causing pressure and we could take it out because we've done that before for my sister and it helped, but it only made it worse.

Ive also recently got pain in my inner left ear (same side lump was on), and a tiny sore throat on the left side too, which i failed to mention on here.
He concluded i probably have a virus and prescribed me nonSteroidal anti-infammatory medication called Naproxen. I have been instructed to take one twice a day with food and i should make a recovery in a week or two.

They completely forget what they were doing and where they are with no hope of getting that information back. These same people, because of where the inner ear problem is in relation to the brain, can not recall peoples names no mater how hard they try. Basically I'm just showing the link between the inner ear, brain, and eye balls.
Other causes of armpit lump are cat scratch disease, lipomas, infectious mononucleosis, lymphomas and breast cancer. Vertigo can be caused by inner ear problems, neck injury; migraine etc.You should see a primary care physician. After a general examination your doctor may refer you to the concerned specialist based on the clinical findings. I sincerely hope it helps.

If so it could be swimmers ear ( infection of the ear caused by excessive moisture or dryness. The cure for that is an ear syringe for the wax blockage and some antibiotics for the rest. Followed up with daily moisturising of the ear afterwards...

Hypothyroidism is one of the many causes of tinnitus; the listed reason in medical textbooks is due to inner ear pressure. There are many other reasons for tinnitus and, off the top of my head, the conditions that hypothyroidism can cause that are also listed causes of tinnitus include excessive ear wax, vitamin B12 deficiency, anaemia, high blood pressure, TMJ dysfunction, allergies.
These symptoms could occur with problems in the inner ear, the brain and the cranial nerves. If inner ear problems have been ruled out, then a neurological assessment needs to be done. Please consult your primary care physician who will do an initial clinical assessment and then may refer you to a neurologist. Investigations like X rays and MRI will help to arrive at a diagnosis for appropriate therapy.

You're going to think I'm wierd but since my teens, if someone speaks near to my left ear, (even a radio) their voice tone creates an inner ear vibration in my right one which isn't painful but very incomfortable and I have to turn my head to my right ear so it doesn't affect it unless they are speaking on the left side.
