Lump in elbow crease

Common Questions and Answers about Lump in elbow crease

lump

Around the beginning of Summer, I noticed some type of lump/swelling on my inner elbow, right above the crease on the side closest to my body with palm facing up. My doctor said that it must be a hematoma and that I might have bumped it without noticing. After a several months, the swelling decreased and nearly disappeared, but it has recently come back. there is no discoloration and no lump can be felt beneath the skin when my arm is bent.
I also have noticed a lump under my skin on my forearm about 3 inches below where the crease in my elbow bends a little to the left. It only is sore when I push on it to find it to show my husband that it is a little bigger than last time. I am planning to make an appt. with the doctor. Should I make it with my family doctor or a specialist of some kind? What cold this be?
the hematologist monitored regularly through blood tests and physical exam. Over a few months, elbow lump went away, but a new lump appeared on the salivary gland. the swelling was quite noticeable. Biopsy of node in this area and a bone marrow test confirmed diagnosis on slow growing Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. I gather that hematologists will often watch and wait using fewer tests until clear sign cancer is present or progressing before beginning active surveillance to confirm.
My vein is hard, and there is a hard lump where my elbow crease is.... it's not hurting at all anymore. I'm just assuming she damaged the vein a little, Maybe there is some clotting going on.... but I assume it will go away.
I have a large lump on my rib that is right below my left breast. It is not in my breast but below my breast.I had a tumor removed a year ago in my right breast, which was benign, but this is strange. It is very large and very distinctive. Can you have a tumor on your rib and not in your breast that might be Breast cancer and what do you think it can be. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
I had surgery just over 2 weeks ago and the best thing ever. the lump used to hurt especialy at night in bed when I would sleep on my side. It also looked ugly and like another boob. My surgeon did an excellent job with the scar so far it looks okay. I would say if it hurts and you are concious about it have it removed. My sister also had both armpits done.
On my left arm, in the crease by the elbow over the vein to the right of arm, I have a lump. It grows. At some points it is smaller and other times it seems to get bigger. I have gotten a stabbing shooting pain in my elbow. That pain has happened maybe 6 or 7 times. I have had this for around 7 months. Around that same time i was lying in bed, falling asleep and I felt a bubble type feeling going up my arm.
I have had it for months on and of. I have a lump constanly in the crease of my finger. If I go climbing or carry shopping bags its really painful. So I try to be careful not to put pressure on it to stop the "pop" which is even more excrutiating. Hope someone out there can help.
there is a lump that has formed in the crease of my elbow and I am not sure if that is related. It almost feels like a swollen blood vessel underneath a muscle. Not too sure though. I have had a history of typing and making pizza. Could that be the source of this? Please help.
Rule of thumb, nothing smaller then your elbow lol. Please do not put paper clips and tooth picks in your ears, that hurt my ears just to read that!!! I am a massage therapist, so I do like the natural products when possible. Thank you all for sharing.
Recently, for about a week now I've developed a bump in my arm in the crease above my elbow. My doctor didn't know what it was so i have an appt for an orthopedic this wendnesday. He said it could be fluid because after having it wrapped for a week it went down but the area where it was feels swollen still. Ive also been experiencing radiating pain in my lower back, which shoots all the way up to my neck and down to my knees.
About six years ago, I noticed nasty little puckers and crepiness in the crook of my elbow. About six months ago, the skin under my underarm (on the inner side of my arm) started to look saggy. I have an antiaging blog and have used this to document everything logical to be done about this since many of my readers are experiencing the same.
Next came the lumps in the crease opposite side to my elbow. One very pronounced. they are hard but may have a liquid of sorts inside of them. Gross!!! And just today a new one developed in my left middle finger!! between the nuckle and the first finger hinge. So they keep popping up on any random day. Unexpectedely. And I did ask my Oncologic surgeon who is also an expert in the field of lymph node disection. He and his resident thought it was a fatty deposit.
I am 24 mother of 1 and for two months now Ive been soar on my left side of my brest and arm-pit? It feels brused and I can feel a lump on near my breast crease, so I am not sure what it is. Ive never had soar breast so I am a little concerned, Ive made a Dr's appt.
see i have this two lumps on the inside of my inner elbow area(both arms) in the same place, they do not hurt to touch, or are swollen itchy or anything like that. i have had them for the past couple years, they have not grown or anything like that. i am just wondering on what they could be? i also have them in the same spot in my upper arms(both) there is a history of arthrtis in my family....wondering if i could be getting something along those lines?
It doesn't hurt or move. About a week later I was bending down and noticed a lump in the crease of my left leg between the groin and leg. It was the size and shape of a snap pea (the ones in the shell) but that one has gotten much bigger and is really hard. I have another lump with the same description as the one in the groin on my right arm (the thumb side) where my elbow bends. And one on the left side a little further down on my forearm.
It's about the size of a dime, it has stayed the same. It doesn't hurt or move. there are similar ones elsewhare on my body but not causing hpothesias. Depressing it does cause tingling in digits 4 and 5 but then so does pressure on my elbow. Maybe I should get it aspirated? What are the options if it is Cubital Tunnel Syndrome? Is there a Cubital Tunnel release procedure? Would I lose any function or performance from such a procedure or a Guyon's Canal release procedure? Maybe it's must coincidence but it came on when I had a cigarette (heavy smoker).
there is some discomfort and tenderness in the ulnar area of the wrist crease/forearm. sometimes, it is painful, and I have to stop and rest. I've been wearing a right-wrist night splint, but I must say it is uncomfortable, and I have worries it may cut off some circulation and possibly some flexibility...watching carefully. But it has helped significantly. Typing on my laptop with more caution and awareness regarding my wrist.
When I returned home the next day I woke up with a huge red like bruise on my chest that didnt itch and 3 small dark slightly raised bumps inside the crease of my arm ( inside of elbow). Now the red bruise has turned purplish still no itch, nor pain. I dont have medical coverage. My friend and I did engage in 4 days of unprotected sex. I had a full panel blood work up about 4-5 months prior that was clean. Should I be worried. Would STD/HIV symptoms show that soon? I've been home 2 weeks.
[timeline of effects] - 1week+ after exposure, i had some really tiny bumps develop at the crease of my elbow, didn't last long, a week tops, no scratching or spreading.
Everything that has been a problem for me has been on my left side of my body. I have had a gland in the crease of my left leg and the lump that was removed behind my ear from Cat Scratch fever, was also on the left. Does lyme work this way? One sided more than the other? At this time, I have to request my lab tests, in order to bring them with me to my LLMD. Thank you, and I definately have more, but this was getting long enough. !
) started appearing with sharp spasm type pain just under the skin (in veins, arteries, tissue or muscle ??). Mostly on upper left side on arm at elbow crease, above breast, clavical (above & below), shoulder, inside arm above elbow, above wrist and on wrist. Couple episodes with a few mingled together on my right shin. Lumps go down after 30 minutes, or so and some remain for several hours.
Since the surgery I started getting pain in my elbows and I wake up every day in excruciating pain. I have no idea what the elbow pain is from. Has anyone ever developed elbow pain? I was very active before and walked 3 miles a day. I am still taking percocets, but need to back off of them in the next 4 weeks. I was taking 60 mg per day and down to 20-25. I also have another problem though, I have a torn rotator cuff that causes alot of pain.
When you press down across them they hurt like a sticker is in them. My hands also feel really dry in those areas almost like wind burn when I have them and they seem to just get more dry until the bumps are gone. they are barely raised. I looked at molluscum and warts and it is definitely not that. the closest in looks is the dishydrosis or pompholyx but it would be a very minor version of the pictures I see on line. Do they only post the worst ones?
I noticed today, that I can feel around the crease on my nose by my nostril in the area of my face that is numb, and that made me feel good. I licked my finger and could feel the wetness..sick...but I was happy. I think that means at least SOME of the nerve is still connected...YES!!! So I hope that, combined with the tingles and occasional pain in my numb teeth mean that the sensory nerve is inDEED connected and in a FEW SHORT DECADES I will regain feeling!! It's only been 6 days...
HELLO theRE I AM in the SAME BOAT AS YOU...THIS WAITinG IS CRAZY...I HAVE FLUID in BOTH BREAST AND MANY LUMPS in BOTH...I FOUND BY LUMP ON FRIDAY AND THOUGHT I WAS JUST BEinG OVER REACTinG TILL I SEEN DR ON MONDAY AND SAID THAT I HAD SEVERAL AND FLUID GEZZZZZZZ GREAT I AM GOinG TO ANOtheR TOMORROW FOR MAMMO AND ULTRA, SO SAY A PRAYER FOR A STRANGER AND I WILL DO the SAME FOR YOU....
or maybe completely unrelated item...early Saturday, I had a pain on my right inner arm...at the elbow crease. I rolled up my sleeve and noticed a small blister. Was it a bite? A pimple? No, it looked like a tiny blister with some redness around it and running my finger across it was really painful for such a tiny thing. I popped it and clear fluid came out. It scabbed over. there was no other blisters anywhere. Once again, I was prescribed Valtex and prednisone.
Where do these lesions occur? Mine usually appear in the crease between my leg and vagina. I was told that its not herpes, yet I still don't know what it could be.
also there is a bump on the edge of my penis head that had peeled and gone away for a few days and re-appeared in the exact same spot which seems to have formed as a bump/scar(not as itchy)... ...i have very itchy bumps on my inner thighs and butt cheeks that seem to be getting worse. I also notice very very very very small blister type bumps on my fingers that i have popped and released some sort of fluid.. the bumps on my penis/butt/thighs do not seem to have any fluid in them..
