I broke my ankle 3 months ago now I have a Hard Lump that forms in my Calf. sometimes it fomrs on the side of my leg other times in the back of my Calf. My foot is swollen and when the Lump appears the part under the Lump sinks and turns red as thought is blood is under my skin. It is painful.
Following training on Tuesday I helped bump start a car. About ten minutes later I felt a pain in my left Calf which at first I thought was just a bit of cramp and two days on it’s still painful. It’s like a dull ache and is slightly swollen and has reduced my leg flexibility a little. It has a Lump approx 1.5 cm in size about a third of the way down from my knee on the outside of the leg. My question is this: Is this just a knotted Muscle or do you think I have pulled / torn something?
Well today since I'm wearing shorts I noticed a small Lump on my putter Calf part of my leg (only noticeable when I'm flexing. I'm all freaked out. My husband said to wait until tomorrow to see if it gets worse. The Lump itself does not hurt, my legs just feel heavy and tired. But I busted butt around my house all day yesterday , followed by an intense love making session with my hubby. I was exhausted to say the least. I'm just worried about a blood clot. I'm 21 weeks tomorrow. Any thoughts??
I have recently started excercising and have just noticed a Lump/knot which is located below my Calf Muscle, It is soft on top but firmer when pressing in.It is pretty good in size. No bruising, no pain unless pressing on it. Slightly warm to touch at most. I have probably been over doing it at the gym. Possibly a pulled Muscle? I didnt notice any sudden pain. I have had a lot of Calf and lower leg pain, but I have done a lot of treadmill and elliptical.
what is this Lump in what appears to be my vein on my right Calf (inner leg slightly lower section of Calf Muscle). It is very tender to touch and a bit painful when i walk. I dont remember hitting it on anything and it only just started to hurt today, which is why i noticed its appearance. should i be worried that it is a blood clot? if so what to i do to treat it?
Sorry I missed your post yesterday... I hope you're doing better today... I guess the Lump in your throat is your thyroid? I'm not sure what you have more than one of - maybe the Lump is a nodule on your thyroid and you have more than one of those? I'm sure your calves are numb and tight because you're nervous about the surgery on Monday. Do you have someone who can massage them for you to help relax the Muscles?
I had a huge bruise, about 4' in diameter, appear on my Calf...no injury to it, took about 2 weeks for the bruise to leave, now there is a Lump inside ,my Calf...there is no pain,.do I need to be concerned.....I am on my legs for 8 hours straight each day.
I am 61 and female. I had spinal stenosis surgery in December, 2015, where they removed spinal bone in 3 lumbar areas to open the narrowing which had caused nerve damage. I do not take blood thinners and have done nothing strenuous which may have caused the following. Two nights ago I woke with a severe "Charlie horse" in my right Calf. This is the leg with nerve compression. The next morning I had severe bruising on that same leg, on my inner knee and a Lump or swelling there.
I was at work as an electrician, and at the end of the day i had a massive bruise on my Calf that was about 3 inches in diameter with a Hard Lump in the center. This has happened a few times before, but this was the first time i am sure there was no trauma involved. I know im in the squatting position for a few hours a day and was wondering if it had something to do with poor circulation? I dont have health insurance so im not going to go spend a few hundred on blood coagulation studies.
For the past 6 weeks I have been experiencing pain in the back of my knee and down my Calf Muscle in my right leg. If i rest either with my feet up or down, when I go to stand my leg from my knee to my foot is very stiff and sore. I am unable to kneel as it feels like a massive burst of pain behind the knee into my Calf Muscle as if i have severly sprained it. When standing, if i transfer any weight onto my right leg, i get pain from the back of the knee right down my Calf.
i have a Lump in left Calf !!!! and two small ones in right leg they r soft small dime size the one in my left leg hurts when i bend down but the two in my right leg dont hurt at all. its strange im concerned !! im on my feet all the time could it be veins ?
I noticed a large bulge in between my shin and Calf area that appeared out of nowhere. It is about the size of a golf ball. It doesn't hurt and feels like theres water or air in it. I've had it for about a week and hasn't got any bigger but looks like it goes down a little it when I wake up. What could it be? Getting a litle freaked out about it. Can you please help? Thanks!
in December I had conditioning and went on vacation and stopped playing for awhile, but on January I tried to play soccer again and I started feeling a sudden pain in my both my Calf Muscles and I felt a Lump on my left Calf. Now every time I walk to the store or I try to do soccer drills both my Calf Muscles start aching and they usually ache for 10 to 20 minutes. These aches and pains have gone on ever since that day on January. What could this be? Is this a tear in my Calf Muscle?
Happy Holidays, I have a pretty large very Hard Lump on my anus, just peeking out somewhat and then extends inward into the anus. It is not at all painfull and is not bleeding. I have had hemriods before, on rare occasions, and this is nothing like those. My hemriods were very painful, itchy burning and I would use cream and they would go away within a day. This Lump is very Hard and stationary, again, not painful at all. When I sit I feel it there but not painful.
Hello my name is Kristen and I am 30 years old. A few months ago, I felt a small Lump in my groin lymph node. I went to the doctor (a walk-in clinic) and the doctor felt it but dismissed it as nothing. I should note that I have had sharp hip pain intermittently my whole adult life - during sex - that would go away when I moved my leg.
I HAVE A TENDER Lump in FRONT OF MY Calf YOU CAN'T FEEL in UNTIL I FLEX MY Calf Muscle OR PUSH MY FOOT BACK SHOULD I BE WORRIED? I'VE HAD THIS FOR SOMETIME AND IT ONLY GETS TENDER WHEN I EXERCISE OR SOMETIMES RANDOMLY!!!!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO?
I came off a horse a week ago (Saturday) and ended up with a large contusion/hematoma in the right shin, not over the bone but to the left on the soft tissue. LARGE Lump remains -- literally the size of an egg. Lots of discoloration and edema from knee into the ankle; old blood is pooling there. I saw a doc on Thursday; he did X rays to check for tibial fracture and did not feel aspiration was needed. However, the pain is not resolving and may be getting worse.

The flash wouldn't work and I had to twist my leg into an akward position in order to take the picture. That's why the top of my Calf looks so big. Check it out and let me know what you think if you have a chance. Thanks for writing!
Noticed today that my five year old son has a soft Lump on the back of his leg, at the top of his Calf Muscle. It is about 2 inches in length and 1 inch in width. The Lump seems fluid filled, but is deep under his skin. What could this be?
Two weeks ago I started having sharp, stabbing pains in my right leg, Calf area. I have a varicose vein there, and all of a sudden I am having these throbbing pains there. Then, 4 days ago my right eye started having uncontrollable spasms. Then, last night.... I started to have pain in the back of my head, and when I touched it, there was a decent sized Lump. It's in the very back, by my neck...
My son was hit by a baseball in the lower Calf of the leg. His leg was sore afterwards, but the pain increased several days later, and more into his foot. 3 days after being hit by the baseball we noticed he had a very Hard Lump on the side of his foot, the inside of his foot, between the big toe and ankle. It was very tender, and caused him to limp. This is the same leg he was hit in, but it is much lower than where he was actually hit.

I found a small Lump in my Calf, close to wear it meets the shin, a while ago. Today, I noticed it was still there and hurt a bit. I also noticed I have a small BB like Lump on the side of my knee area (on the same leg as the Lump in Calf) and it is able to move around if I press on it. What could it be?
(coldness, numbing sensation, color change??) Pain in the Calf is usually the first sign of a serious blood clot, (many blood clots form in this area) but that doesnt nessecarily mean it is a clot or it isnt, theres no way to know without further testing. I know it may not seem financially smart right now to see a doctor, but just having a blood clot period is potentially life threatning, let alone once it causes one of the problems i stated above..
There is no sign of bruise or bite and it gets much worse after I have been walking or try walking up stairs. It feels like it is radiating up my leg in to my Calf and knee area and up into my thigh area on the outside only and all under the skin. Tender to the touch where the Lump is at my ankle area. What could possibly be causing this?
Hi, As if you are looking down at your left leg, on the front right of the Calf as you are looking at it, about 4 inches from the knee I have a Hard Lump. This Lump is very very Hard, and probably the size of a half a tictac. It is not round, and appears to have a flat side. When I put my fingers either side of it and 'roll it' between my fingers It feels like it 'crunches' inside the skin, like rolling a tiny Lump of glass between cloth.
A few days back, I found a small 3.5cm by 3.5cm Lump in my Calf. The thing is, it's not really a Lump that's there all the time. It only show up when I flex and the tighter I flex, the Harder the Lump. Then, when I release the contraction, the Lump disappears completely and I can't feel it in my Calf. I got it checked out by a doctor and he said that he thinks it may be just a previous Muscle injury and that the Lump is Muscle.
I left it at this but over the past 2 weeks I have started to get floaters in my eye and tingly fingers and toes and also numbness in my face. I also suffer from cramps in my feet and Calf. I'm scared that this Lump has changed into a tumour. I don't have any headaches, sickness or fits. I was tested for Diabetes yesterday but it came back negative.
