Hi, I just turned 35, and for the past few months I have been experiencing a burning sensation inside my right breast. I feel a lump close to the base of my breast, but this burning sensation feels more pronounced close to the surface of my breast. I haven't had my period for 2 years but I'm not anemic. My doctor said that there is no problem, that it could be early menopause, but I'm not sure. I get cold whenever the temperature is below 84 degrees (I'm always cold) and I'm always tired.

Towards the end of July I started to have a slight burning sensation in my breast and then my nipple felt like it was leaking, although it wasn't. That went on for a couple days, then my nipple felt normal again, but the burning has never went away. The sensation is intermittent, lasting only a second, but happening almost daily for the last 2 months. My Dr doesn't know what is causing it, but is sending me for another mammogram in Dec. Do you have any ideas?
i have silicone implants, which ive had for over two yrs without any problems.ive noticed now that the breast with the lump is very tender and i have an awful burning sensation around the lump(which feels around the size of a pea). my breast are tender due to the fact i am in early pregnancy, however the left breast is worse.
For the past week I have noticed a burning sensation in my right breast. It starts directly under my armpit on the side of my breast. There is no noticible lump, depression, color or hardening, but I have a lot of breast cysts and cancer on both sides of my family so I am scared to death. I am only 28, have large breasts and am overweight. It's not exactly pain..more of a burning sensation that I noticed upon waking but now feel sometimes through out the day.
hi my friend had an hysterectom 5 years ago and has been on hormone replacement tablets basically since then, she recently found a lump in her breast and went to see the doctor about it, she can't get an appointment at the hospital till the end of january and shes worried to be honest, the doctor took her off her hormone replacement tablets and ever since then shes had burning pain in her breast where the lump is.
I have been experiencing some burning sensation in my left breast. Dependending on my movement or the pressure on my breast the burning sensation goes from the bottom left side to my nipple. I've been to the doctor and since I'm under 40 he will not send me for a mamogram and there is no lumps so an Ultra Sound is also out. He told me to take 4-5 tylanols a day for the pain and go back and see him in a month.
I've been having heavy burning breasts for several months now, but in both breast. They only ordered the ultrasound on the right due to the felt lump. Thank you for any of your thoughts!
on your shoulder would have anything to do with the lumps that you say have been found in your breast. I too believe it would be wise to see your Dr. about the pain and "blue spot" as well as for a Mammogram and/or Ultrasound to ck. on the breast lumps IF the latter has not already been done. It is always wise to inform your Dr. of any and all medications or suppliments that you are taking as this can be a factor in diagnosing a current problem. Regards ...
I have a constant burning sensation in my left breast. I can't stand the pain. If it moves I want to cry. I don't even want to wear a bra it hurts and burns so bad. It doesn't go away or subside with anything I do. This has been going on for about two days and it's driving me crazy. I have checked for lumps, redness, swelling, and draining and it doesn't have any of this. I'm seem to be burning up just in this one breast. Someone please if u can help me I'm scared to death of cancer.
It seems to be getting firmer and for the last week or so my nipples have been very tender and my left one seems to be a bit enlarged.I usually don't have any sensation in my nipples at all. Also, my right breast is soar but I can't exactly pinpoint the source of the pain. Also, in the last few months I will have episodes where my feet and the backs of my thighs burn. It is a weird sensation. Not tingly but just VERY sensitive. This burning lasts for a few days to a week. Then it goes away.
I've been having a burning, sharp pain in my breast off and on two two week now. The burning only last for about 30 seconds and then the feeling of the burning last another 30 seconds or so. What could be causing this pain?
Recently upon removal of an underwire bra I got a searing/burning pain in my right breast between the nipple and arm pit. I can actually localize it with my finger and upon applying pressure the pain is unbearable. Even just standing up (without a bra) can cause horrific pain. Now just yesterday it happened again and the pain is really not subsiding at all. I'm sure this is nothing to worry about, but I thought I'd pose the question to this forum.
I don't know why a benign lump would suddenly give a burning sensation but pain is not often a factor with breast cancer. You didn't state if the lump was a cyst or a fibroadenoma. Cysts can cause discomfort and being related to hormone levels this could be related to the changing going on in your body. It wouldn't hurt to have it ck. out; since you are at the menopausal age I hope you have been having regular yearly mammograms; they are recommended after age 40. If not, you should ....
After I found this I called and made an appt with my Dr. She did an exam on my breasts and confirmed that my left breast has a lump in it. She ordered me an ultra-sound, which I am having done on Tues, May 3rd. She told me that depending on what that shows, will determine the next steps to take. She said that the Dr. will be there and give me the results right away, as to what this is. She had told me that it may just be a cyst, and not cancer, but that she could make no promises.
My wife is breastfeeding and has a (sore)lump in her breast (close to the aereola)that will not go away. After pumping or breastfeeding she has a tingling/burning sensation that lasts 30-45 minutes. She has tried heat/ice massage, hot water baths, epsom salt bath, ultrasound, lecithin, etc.. and nothing is making it go away. We have tried to contact lactation dept. at the hospital, ob/gyn, and other health professionals and no one seems worried.
i went to the doctor to discuss a lump in my left breast. turns out after stopping breast feeding two and a half years ago i still have a Little bit of milk. i have pain on a daily basis, and now a burning feeling. i have only leaked milk three times in the past 4 months and only a Little bit. she tested my milk to find out i did have a Little bit of bacteria. so i took the antibiotics and the pain and lumps did not go away. now my right breast is doing it.
Hi, Have you noticed any lump in the breast along with the pain? If not, the burning sensation could be due to a reflux of the acid of the stomach in the food pipe which usually results in a burning sensation in the centre/middle of the chest. If the pain is in the periphery and especially if it’s on the left side and is radiating in the arms, I would suggest you to get an ECG done as pain of ischemia(compromised blood supply to the heart) can also present in the form of burning sensation.
-Is a burning sensation in the middle of the chest with pain between shoulder blades and a stiff neck a reason to go the E.R? Can a flu shoot precipitate all this? What are typical signs of a heart attack? Given my hystory what do you suggest?
DR. Fernando, I posted on the 30th about burning stingy sensation in my R armpit. I failed to mention that it is not a continues sensation, it comes and goes all day. It is not bad, just enough for me to notice. I also noticed that there is a lump in the middle of my armpit. My L armpit does not have this. Could this just be a swollen lymph node?
) About 5 days ago, both my underarm lymph nodes became swollen with a Full feeling and sometimes I do feel a slight burning sensation in the Underarm area. I had extensive mammograms done 3 weeks ago (because I felt a small lump in the right breast)_. The mammograms did not show anything alarming and it was thought by the Radiologist that the lump was fat tissue. I have requested an ultrasound (which I will have next Tuesday) just to be sure.
surgeon is not comfortable leaving tumour will remove it in one week. the lump hurts and i get a burning throbbing sensation on my breast and on my underarm. my question is could this still be malignant? are biopsies accurate?
Said my mammo was not due until March. Clear discharge coming from nipple, burning sensation in breast, and feel small lump deep in breast tissue. No inverted nipple, no fever. I asked surgeon to go ahead with mammo thought insurance would pay since there was a problem. He said he didn't want to irrate infection more if that was the problem. Do I seek second opion? I live in a rural area with no breast specialist. Can I go to local hospital myself and request ultrasound?
