Common Questions and Answers about Lump in breast caffeine

lump

If this is so, I would conclude that this type of bra that you wear, is the cause of your lump in your breast. You are not the first one who I encounter and have lumps in their breasts, cysts, tumours, cancers. I have quite a few of my clients who have their breast remove on account of the cancer and all were wearing underwire bras.
Get it checked out! I have a lump in my right breast, about the size of a marble. My doctor told me to cut back on caffeine, as it can cause fibrous cysts. I didn't drink much caffeine to begin with, but did what she told me. Nine months later, the lump grew a little bit and was tender. Doctor scheduled a mammogram and biopsy for me and I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm only 31! Even if the lumps don't hurt, get them checked out anyway. Oftentimes, cancerous lumps are not painful.
I found a lump in breast that literally grew in a manner of hours. I showered the day prior and didnt feel anything. I noticed it after I ate a chocolate bar and took a caffein pill. My left breast has a lump inside the size mayb of a small ping pong ball and the skin outside the lump is pink. My breast feels full, disconfort and the lump moves around slightly. My nipple is fine and the right breast is fine. Please advice...I am just hoping this does not fit the symptoms of IBC.
Hi, First of all I don't think that because you have detected a lump in you breast you need to go to the emergency, but seeing your doctor is a very wise decision. This could be a cyst which can appear at any age, in teenagers as well as in older women. These cysts are related to the increasing hormonal fluctuations and the pain is particularly felt prior to the menstrual cycle and subside after the menses finish..
I felt a slight lump in my breast, which doesnot pain normally but mild pain starts before my mensus. So i went to see a gynecologist she prescribed me Simrose 1000 tablet for 3months. Is it safe to take it and what are the side effects of it and should i under go some more diagnosis before taking this treatment. What are the causes of lump and how severe it could be if treatment not taken properly and how to detect the severity of the lump in breast? I am not married.
im so sorry to here about the lump in your breast it must be a real worry for you my daughter found a lump last year but thank god it turned out to be a cyst i know its easy to say dont worry but im sure you will be fine please let me know how you get on take care.
I am glad that you are seeing your doctor tomorrow. This visit is long overdue, and,if I may add, you should not have ignored this lump in your breast for as long as you have. There is something that you can do to lessen the pain...try to limit your caffeine intake as much as possible (chocolate coffee cola).Your doctor will examine your breasts tomorrow and maybe order an Ultrasound for a better understanding of what this lump might be.Best wishes and God Bless.
Dr told me that water is in the lump in my left breast. What is the best way to correct this ?? Thanks This discussion is related to Lump in breast.
It is possible that the lump has appeared because of the hormone she has taken, but it doesn't mean that the lump in her breast is bad. Many young women have lumps that are benign in nature. I can understand how worried you are for your daughter.. I also have daughter and I worry too when it concerns her health.
Hi, If the multiple lumps in your breasts have been tested by Mammogram or Ultrasound and proven to be simple cysts, then you have nothing to worry about. These cysts are related to the increasing hormonal fluctuations. Avoiding caffeine, (Coffee, chocolate and colas) salty food and fatty food can lessen the pain and also shrink the cysts.Evening Primrose oil could also help.
This is usually a symptom of breast cancer. While benign breast lumps -- sacks of fluid or lumps of fat, move with the breast, cancers defy gravity. Thickened or dimpled skin is a sign of a lump that's unmoveable -- and a cause for concern. What to do: First, remember that 90 percent of women who catch breast cancer early survive. But to be one of them, you must get a proper diagnosis and treatment. See your doctor. She will examine you thoroughly, then follow up with a mammogram.
I scheduled my appointment for october 7th since I think that it should be removed as soon as possible but I have another question. my breast is hurting me a lot these days and I feel like my breast that has the lump in it is growing. both the breasts are not the same size. the one with the lump is bigger. what can that be?
My daughter was only 15 when she found a lump in her breast. I immediately took her to the doctor who did an ultra sound. Luckily it was nothing. Probably caused from too much caffeine which can cause lumpy breasts. Don't take any chances please have it checked out. I'll be praying for you!!!
Hi two years ago I had a lump in my right breast, My Dr. did an ultrasound & recomended me to have a biopsy done, while I was having a biopsy the fluid popped, My doctor told me that it was just a cyst & I don't need to be worried about. 3 weeks ago I noticed that I have a new lump in the same breast My Dr. did an ultrasound and she told me it's a cyst, she did a needle Aspiration to remove the fluid.
proceed to give me a breast examination and confirmed what I found, I did have a lump in my left breast. He told me I had to go to a breast doctor to get examined there and then they can figure out what they needed to do. As you can imagine Im freaking out and depressed (a little :( ). While I was in the doctors office he did ask me did I have any breast cancer history in my family. My mother confirmed that I do indeed but not on my father's side.
That something is wrong. However recently I discovered that I have a lump in my left breast, and it is VERY painful. Even to rub against something puts a lot of discomfort on me. After I found this I called and made an appt with my Dr. She did an exam on my breasts and confirmed that my left breast has a lump in it. She ordered me an ultra-sound, which I am having done on Tues, May 3rd. She told me that depending on what that shows, will determine the next steps to take. She said that the Dr.
As I mentioned before, the lump in your breast could very well be a cyst or a fibroadenoma.(Both benign in nature) These benign lumps are very common in your age group and they could cause the pain you are experiencing, especially before the start of your menstrual cycle. The fact that the lump is shrinking and is movable, it's a good sign.
im a 24 years old,and sometimes i feel breast painful..it is normal or do i need to consult a doctor?
A pea-sized lump was found in the left breast. I could not feel the lump when I did breast self-exams. I had a mammogram and an ultrasound which were normal. The radiologist told me to cut out the caffeine and to take vitamin E. I have done both of those things, but I still have pain. She felt the lump was caused by hormonal changes and the caffeine. She said to follow up with my doctor in 6 months. Should I have a second opinion? Could it be something that is not showing up on the tests?
I'm sure the report would have made some mention of the breast lump. Caffeine isn't the cause of a breast lump ... if it is a cyst then it would be due to hormone levels in the body. Reducing the intake of caffeine can help reduce the discomfort and possibly the size of the cyst (which may vary anyway in relation to the menstrual cycle) but it certainly doesn't cause the cyst. I would want to know the nature of the breast lump to a 100% certainty. I'm sure when you see your Dr.
I am 24 yrs old and I have had benign lumps in my right breast for about 4 years. I was first told it was a cyst and will go away or cause me no pain if I didn't have them removed. In October of 2008, when I was pregnant with my first child they started to grow. I've biopsied both in 2008 and they were benign and painless. Over the last 3 months or so they have started to ache and it's become uncomfortable to wear bras or even be intimate with my husband.
Hi, I'm 21 and about four months ago found a lump in ny left breast. I went to see the doctor recently who said it is more than likely to be fibrous breast tissue. My question is what can I do about it? My doctor just laughed when I asked, but I really hate these lumps and they are getting bigger and hurt quite alot, they have trippled in size and now cover 25 % of my breast. I was wondering, can their size be reduced or can they be prevented? I am still waiting to go for a scan.
I do not know where you live so i can not reccomend any place but as an example in st.louis at the siteman cancer center there is a breast center or department which is where i go. When i have an ultrasound done it is read by a radiologist not a tech and then the doctor goes over this with the radiologist and then talks with you.It takes a lot of time but it is well worth the time spent as you leave feeling very confident in what they are doing.
Recently, my daughter 16 was laying down relaxing after taking a Midol (caffeine), eating ice cream and drinking tea(caffeine). She suddenly developed numbness in her tongue followed by tingling in her hands, then shortly after it tingling began in her feet, difficult breathing and rapid heart beat. Within half an hour the tingling was in her whole extremities. It continued until the next morning. We went to her doc, bunch of tests, nothing, it was gone the following morning.
Women who are subject to many cysts are often advised to cut back or eliminate the intake of caffeine in the diet. After you scheduled testing is plenty of time to see a Specialist so that he/she will have something to relate to your present complaints. To seek a second opinion now would be useless since you haven't really received the First opinion yet. The Radiologist will have some recommendations as far as any further testing that may be needed. Unnecessary testing isn't done these days ...
The Ultrasound is very useful too in distinguishing if the lump is a cyst (fluid filled) or a solid lump. Keep in mind that most lumps found in the breast are benign in nature and you shouldn't panic. This lump could be a cyst or a fibroadenoma (both benign )that could cause the pain you are describing.Try to reduce caffeine intake (coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate) and also salt because it can help lessen the pain.. I hope that your upcoming tests will reveal nothing to be worried about.
