hi im 14 and a few months ago i got a firm lump behind my right nipple. it didint hurt.

I am a 50 year old male, I feel a hard lump behind my right nipple extending upwards above the nipple a little bit. Can men get breast cancer? If so, what's the difference from a cist compared to a cancerous lump? My lump doesn't hurt, but has a slight itch from time to time. I've had this lump for a little over 6 months now, it was smaller when I first found it. Could you please respond ? Thx for reading this.

My eight year old little girl has one breast and nipple that is swollen, a little hot to the touch and has an acorn sized lump behind her nipple. She says it hurts to touch it, I have made an appt with her dr on Monday, but should I have her seen before?

Cytology smears from lump breast reveal abundant necrosis and highly atypical ductal epithelial cells in loose groups and lying isolated. The cells have large hyperchromatic nuclei, irregular nuclear membrane, clumped chromatin and prominent necleoli. Imprint smears from excoriated nipple(nipple cytology) also show similar cells intermixed with neutrophils. Kindly tell me what could be the diagnosis based on above findings ?

Lumps during breastfeeding may be caused by blockage of ducts which carry the milk from deep in the breast to the nipple openings. Milk that builds up behind the blockage causes the lumps and makes the breast sore. Warm compress may help provide relief. Gently massage the lump toward the nipple during and after feeding and cold packs after a feed may help relieve pain and inflammation.

had to be removed behind where the milk ducts were. Then again another MRI showed behind the nipple was another mass which had to be removed (same breast). Hi, Friday morning my left nipple was a little itchy when I checked it was leaking a clear sticky discharge which turned to blood when squeezed, did this all weekend, Sunday being the worst day. I did feel what felt like maybe a raisin size lump just behind the nipple, it was soft and moved. The bleeding and clear fluid is almost gone by Tuesday. Had a mamogram Tuesday, it came back normal. Nurse told me to go home a rest easy. I don't feel the lump any more either.

And it feels like i have something that is swollen inside my breast. It feels like a lump right behind my nipple and the entire left breast seems to feel tight with soreness sensation. About 6 years ago I had a lump removed from my left breast (benign) with the incision along the areola line. Behind and including the left nipple, it is tender with a hard or dense feeling. I have always assumed this was just scar tissue from the surgery. Hi, I really don't think that this has anything to do with breast cancer.But you should be talking to your mom,or someone close to you about this lump. It is quite common for teenagers to get lumps under the nipple and it may affect only one breast.This is due because of hormonal changes in the body as it develops.Usually these lumps take a few weeks to disappear providing that the area around the nipple doesn't look red and swollen and isn't causing any pain.

i know i should have went back for my follow up,when he told me the results i was pleased, and been so busy that i just never went back, my mistake, he also wasnt a breast cancer surgeon, he was just a general surgeon and seemed confused to me, i really dont do self exams every month because everything thing i feel is lumpy.

When I was 24 years old I noticed that if I pressed my right nipple between my fingers drops of a clear fluid would pop out on the tip. Following the advice of my doctor I had my breast removed because the doc said it could be a precancerous condition. At first I hated not having a nipple on my right pec and I got a silicone prosthetic nipple which looked a lot like my real one. Good luck to you.

Discharge from the breast, when nipples are squeezed,increases the Prolactin hormone level and the more you squeeze the nipple the more the discharge will continue.So I would advise you NOT to squeeze your nipple so the discharge stops. If the discharge is spontaneous,( comes out without squeezing) is persistent or bloody,then it becomes concerning and you should see your doctor to have this problem evaluated and treated.
