It looks quite exaggerated when compared with the left knee which is normal, with no pain. About 3 yrs ago I did have problem with what felt like a painful tightness behind the same knee, which became quite uncomfortable when going down on my haunches. It now seems to have moved to the ouside of the knee as described. The pain is not unbearable yet but is becoming more uncomfortable with time. I played a huge amount of squash when I was younger but not for the past 12 years.
Hi, I've had this tiny little lump behind my knee, maybe half the size of a dime, for quite a few years. over the last few days however, it has ballooned up to about half the size of a ping pong ball. Just a little while ago, it seemed to pop, without any pain or anything, just found blood leaking down the back of my leg, along with a foul smelling pus. Any idea what this is?
I have a hard lump on the lateral side of my knee and bruising around knee and it band. I cannot bend knee and feal pain all the time, when sitting, lying or walking. When i press lump there is irritability and pain. It hurts to straighten knee. I had an x-ray that shows a minor lateral patella tracking but my knee cap does not hurt. I have had this for a year, what can I do to fix this and go back to sport?
I have had pain behind my knee for almost a year now. I had a meniscal tear taken care of last June and I was told it would also take care of the ganglion cyst that had developed. 6 weeks after the surgery I was still having the pain and discomfort behind my knee. I experience increased tightness and pain with exercise....the more I use it the less I am able to do. Even walking causes discomfort. I am not able to pick up my foot and move it back as if trying to touch my butt with my foot.
After about 2 weeks it was gone. Since that time I have had pain behind the right breast. At first the pain would come and go, now it is almost a constant. The pain will radiate up into my collar bone area and down my right arm. I will have "bad" weeks where I am very tired and not much energy along with the pain. I went to the doc Oct. 2007. I've had a breast ultrasound and bloodwork and all seems fine. This month I went for a chest-xray and am scheduled for a CAT Scan.
I am unable to kneel as it feels like a massive burst of pain behind the knee into my calf muscle as if i have severly sprained it. When standing, if i transfer any weight onto my right leg, i get pain from the back of the knee right down my calf. It is a constant pain when any weight is bearing on it but if i kneel or bend the leg with weight on it, the pain is like a muscle pull and extremely painful.
When walking there is no pain at all.
about 5 months ago i jumped and landed funny on my left leg it felt like something behind(BACK OF LEG NOT IN THE KNEE)the back of my knee popped and i was in agony for about 15mins the pain wore off but i had to limp for about 2weeks as the pain only came when my leg was fully straightened or fully bentand that lasted for about 3 months it finaly went and last week i joined zumba and at my second zumba lesson i came home and my leg started to hurt when i straighten it fully or bend it funny all
In Jan. 2007 I found a lump on my right breast which disappeared within 2 weeks. From that time I have had pain. I don't know if the lump was just a coincedence. The pain started coming off and on and then pretty much constant. There is no pain at all by touch. The point of pain seems to come from behind my right breast and sometimes the pain is so great it radiates up into my collarbone and down my right arm. It doesn't feel like a pulled muscle, it is hard to describe.
Severe joint pain in the knee and later also in the fingers. The knee thing turned out to be ostenecrosis where the femur of my right leg was dying.
now I think this was all caused by the Tamoxifen, but what matters is that my vit D was very, very low, and it is in many people with cancer and bc. After I found supplements that were effective, and the D normalized, my leg and knee went back to normal. it just started one day without any injury or provocation and it stopped the same way.
During one of my games i went and set a pick on this girl, anyways i did it right but in the end she hit my leg and let a bruise from my knee down until where my ankle started. It has been two months and the bruise is gone but there is still a tiny little pump. You can barely notice until someone or something touches it and when they touch it, it still friggin hurts. So i was wondering should i go to the doctors or just let it do its thing?
I started having unexplainable severe knee pain. No idea how or why. No injury, no swelling, no bruising. I had my knee examined, Xrays done, and everything looked great. I decided to change the sneakers I was using to exercise and actually use sneakers when using the eliptical at home and as God is my witness - problem solved!!!!!!!! No more knee pain.

Now unable to put full weight on Lt leg.No swelling behind knee/light swelling above front of knee cap.Pain when bending knee /more pain when bending with Lt toes pointed toward the outside.The snap seemed to come from behind and to the left end of the joint.Soreness/tightness remain. What could be happening?
