Common Questions and Answers about Lump at site of immunization

lump

ok. about a week ago i noticed a little lump (about the size of a pea) on one of the lips of my vagina. it can not be popped because it is underneath the skin. you can almost roll it but not?
I have a 5 month old girl with a hard lump (about the size of an adult thumb) on her head. It is at the top of her forehead going towards the top of her head and is kind of curved in shape. The pediatrician was stumped and is sending us to Children's Hospital to meet with a neurosurgeon. Our appointment is 4 weeks away and we are very concerned. Any thoughts?
The pain I am in starts at the site of the injection. It is a deep throbbing pain that at times will be severe sharp pains. The pain is worsening with each passing day and now is radiating into my shoulder and my neck area. Unfortunately this is my right arm so its effecting every aspect of my life. I can no longer sleep on my right side and I have to use extreme caution picking up something or moving it in a paticular way.
You may even be able to feel a hard lump at the injection site and that can actually last 3-4 weeks... If at any time you think there's a chance of infection (pus draining, red streaks radiating from the site, or feels really hot and hard to the touch after 3-4 days that appears to be getting worse instead of better) then you need to see your Dr.
If they gave you more than one shot in the arm that is bothering you and you notice a painful lump, with swelling and maybe even heat at the site then you need to get it checked out. My little girl had this happen and it was from cross contamination of the injections. She had to go through blood work and very painful antibiotic injections because of it.
//www.getreadyforflu.org/ with these and other good suggestions. It's scary, but you can get prepared! Enoch Choi, MD For more read my last post, "is this a cold or something more serious?" http://www.medhelp.
I am not a nurse but every time we get flu vaccines or any kind of immunization at the nursing facility I work in, they tell us to rub the sore spot gently to get rid of the knot, also try warm compresses.Don't know if this applies to the pegasys, just all other shots in general. Pediatrician told me to do that with the grandbaby too. Good luck.
To make this worse, I was experiencing a lot of insomnia at this time. 5. When this started, I was exercising a lot, but not eating very healthily. I was eating a lot of soy products; wondered if that may have played a role. 6. Stress. Symptoms: 1. Insomnia 2. Joint pain, specifically in my R knee and L wrist 3. Swollen lymph nodes in the back of my neck and armpit on the affected side, and pain along the entire course of my lymphatic system in this area. 4.
I was near tears at the end of the appointment. He thinks the candida will clear up when i get rid of the sinusitus. Next week i have an appointment with my gynocologist to get the pap smear results and maybe take more vaginal medicine if i still need it. I think i'll have to press for information on the vaginal clitoral tear issue and the sex problem more and maybe as for a hospital referral if he tells me to just deal with it.
She said all results were good-normal but my white blood cell count was borderline high, which means that my immune system was working big-time to counter-act the vaccines. Yes, I can't look at anymore of these diseases and conditions online either because my heart starts racing and I feel sick. Until one of these doctors give me a "firm" diagnosis I am staying away from finding out more.
I read in an article that referenced: stmichaelhospital.com that .1% to 1% of people who received the h1n1 shot had "tingling or numbness of hands or feet"...and should go away in 1-2 days. If not, see your doctor. At least if found a mention of this. This is day 2 for me.
He does let me use 3 months to try out the Chinese 全息自灸疗法 (Whole Rest Self Curing Method) even though he said he had no idea what it was and has no trust in it at all. At the end of the 3 months if there is no improvement that I hope to see, I should start my baraclude treatment. Well, what do you guys think?
