lump

Avatar f tn I would not have been able to wait a few months with a lump on my collarbone. I have health anxiety and would have been at the clinic within 20 minutes. Is it actually ON the bone or above, beneath it?
Avatar n tn A lot of people say it looks like one of those birds with the puffed out chest. The rock is at the upper and middle part of my sternum I think. And when I poke at it long enough it relieves minor amounts of pressure I couldn't feel till they were released. can anyone help to let me know what it might be??
Avatar f tn Hi there, I am a healthy 17 year old female and recently have discovered a hard bone feeling lump to the middle top of my chest a few centimeters under my right collarbone. There is no matching bump on the other side if my chest and hurts if pressure is applied. It does not move about if I touch it. I haven't been feeling noticing I'll recently although have had an odd fever that comes and goes as well as daily dizzy spells but unsure if such is related.
Avatar n tn Got up the wrong way one morning, and twisted my left shoulder. Developed a lump on the collarbone after this happened. Went for x-rays, and was told it was spasmodic torticollis, calcification on tendon, Arthritis, Tendonitis. The pain is horrible, and its all in the left shoulder as the lump is located right in the same place. They did not see a dislocation, but the lump seems to be like something is dislocated. Nobody has answers.
450237 tn?1255517992 Right breast turned lumpy in upper right quadrant near axilla, right axilla swellings ( small ) and discomfort, small swellings underneath right collarbone, small swellings at base of neck and back of neck on the right side. Also, hard groin swelling also on the right side and sores developing on skin, particularly the chest, shoulders, upper back and arms. Avatar f tn I have a weird lump that i noticed this morning just above my collarbone, does anyone know what this might be??
Avatar m tn I have a 15 year old that has a painless lump on his chest midway between his right nipple and collarbone. The lump has been getting larger. At the present time it is just a noticable swelling about the size of a half dollar. There are no other symptoms and he is an active child. What could it be and what kind of physician should he see?
Avatar n tn i have a swelling on the left side of my neck just above my collarbone. It seems to get bigger during the day, as when i wake it is not there really. It is painless. I take thyroxine 75mg as i have been diagnosed with underative thyroid. Is this lump due to this? i thought a goitre would be central on the neck?
Avatar n tn However i was poking around and right where the front right of my neck connects with my collarbone, there seems to be a small lump that feels a little firmer and jiggly. Around 3 days ago i felt a little bump the right side of my windpipe that is a little painful if pushed. My neck also feels a little stiff. I was just wondering what a lymph node in the collarbone should feel or look like to be considered enlarged and/or a sign of cancer. Please help me i'm really freaking out.
Avatar n tn No relief what so ever, but my concern is that my collarbone feels swollen with a lump like feeling at the end of it. The lump just showed up in the midst of all this pain, and I am concerned.
744962 tn?1270942038 Have a slight cough and noticed a hard lump on my collarbone. It does not hurt when touched at all. I also find that my glands behind my ears hurt and have a ringing tingling sound in my ears and on the thyroid. Does someone else experience the same - how long will it take for my levels to become normal?
Avatar f tn i have experienced just plain feeling awful the past couple of weeks, and now a large swollen lump in the right side chest just below medial collarbone. my question is, is it normal for chest nodes to swell, and if so when? i also have what i think might be thrush. i havent been to dr. yet. thanks for any input.
192055 tn?1263555537 When I was 14ish, my collarbone dislocated at the Sternoclavicular joint... where your collarbone and breast bone meet. Ever since then, my SC joint would dislocate constantly throughout the day (pretty much with any arm movement... 15-20 times a day?) The doctor I saw at the time said it would heal in a year... that it was common in young girls since bones aren't fully matured at that age. My doctor said he didn't recommend surgery since I was so young.
Avatar f tn Found nickel sized lump late dec. Just below collarbone on right now it's golf ball sized and also have lump on lt elbow and left foot nickel sized. Hard and they don't move. Have had a lot if aches all down my left arm and kind of shooting pains through the breast. Some lowgrade fevers and night sweats- soaking.
Avatar n tn The AACE recommends to do the thyroid neck check in this case: Hold the mirror so that you can see the area of your neck just below the Adam's apple and right above the collarbone. This is the general location of your thyroid gland. Tip your head back, while keeping this view of your neck and thyroid area in your mirror. Take a drink of water and swallow. As you swallow, look at your neck.
Avatar n tn ,it is a type of birth defect, they form during development of the embryo.they occur when tissues in the neck and collarbone fail to develop normally .Most require no treatment except possible anti biotics if infected ,if surgery is required results are good... here is a link with information health.nytimes.
Avatar f tn ve read about swollen lymph nodes at the collar bone. Also, I just had an Ultra Sound of my thyroid done, and the results show that I have a swollen lymph node on the isthmus of my thyroid (the bridge that connects the right and left lobes of the thyroid), and I think that would be located near the collar bone.
Avatar f tn I just noticed this evening ( while I was getting her ready for bed ) something on my 2 1/2-year-old daughter's chest. Just below her collarbone, there is a lump about 3 inches in diameter. (It might be right in front of the Manubrium.) it is fairly firm.
Avatar m tn com/a/Ts92oaW I have this strange ropey thing running from my clavicle up through that empty space between the collarbone and shoulder and up to around the back of my neck. It's only on one side and I can't find anyone else with it. It's most visible when I'm sorta shrugging to push it outward. It doesn't hurt and feels kinda thick. I don't feel a pulse from it so I don't think it's a vein or something like that.
Avatar f tn The doctor put me on birth control and I am still taking them. On October 2008, I had a small lump in my left breast and it was painful to touch. I had an ultrasound done but they could not see it with ultrasound; however, they could feel it with touch. So, they informed me that my breast is normal and it could be from high caffeine intake. Now, another small lump is felt next to it and the whole breast is painful including the nipple. The pain sometimes is like stabbing pain or burning pain.
Avatar f tn Recently he noticed another painful lump, slightly larger than a marble, below his left collarbone. He also has left shoulder pain. When he presses the lump, not only does he have pain but he feels as if his arm gets numb and with pins and needles. There is a pressure in his chest when he takes deep breaths. Aside from all of the above, he has severe left ankle/leg pain. He is a smoker for many years. He's afraid to see a doctor.
Avatar n tn my daughter did that when she was young never said anything.. she developed a lump on her collarbone and I took her in and too it was not painful.. they xrayed it and it was new bone growing where the fracture was. so hmmmm maybe this is your case. I wish you good luck!!!!!
Avatar n tn The pain started coming off and on and then pretty much constant. There is no pain at all by touch. The point of pain seems to come from behind my right breast and sometimes the pain is so great it radiates up into my collarbone and down my right arm. It doesn't feel like a pulled muscle, it is hard to describe. I have bad weeks where I am weak and tired the whole time and sometimes the pain is worse. I have been in pain for over a year now and getting tired of it!
Avatar f tn Hi, I am very worried about my chest, breast, and shoulder pain on the right side. I have a dull pain with heat from my breast chest and back of my shoulder straight across from my breast to back. It gets worst and then it gets better. Above my collarbone is very sensitive. When I massage it the dull uncomfortable pain gets better. I also have a lump on my neck that connects to the spot above the collarbone. I have gone to the Dr.s but she said I have fibrosis. Something about muscles.
Avatar m tn I got to researching it and diagnosed myself with a swollen lymph node...which could be the sign of lots of things, or nothing at all according to google, search engines, etc. I called my doctor and they didn't seem to panic... only alerting me that sometimes they swell, wait a few days and see if it goes down. Me knowing my body knew that this wasn't the norm.
Avatar m tn I suppose the sliding sensation of it moving above/below my collarbone on these days is the only reason I notice it at all.
