lump

Avatar m tn about 3 days ago while rubbing my face in the morning my finger came across this small lump, it is hard, smooth, around the size of a pea (it is smaller than the distal phalange of my small finger) feels like bone and it is firmly stuck in place i can't move it no matter how much I push it, it is right under the border of my hairline around where my hair ends and forehead begins, I think it is has remained fairly stable in size, although my sister is telling me it shrunk a little.
Avatar f tn Hi pattymac, When I had the lump, I experianced moments of dizzyness, um, migranes, and soreness around the lump, but thats about it! Good luck!
4980165 tn?1361873056 Hi, A clinical examination is necessary for determining the correct cause of your illness. This lump on the collar bone could possibly be enlarged lymph nodes which may be pushing on the nerves causing pain. Other possibility is that it could be a lipoma, or a harmless fatty on collar bone. A clavicle bone lump can also be caused by a poorly healing break in the bone. Another condition that causes a clavicle bone lump is aneurysmal bone cyst.
Avatar f tn I have had a lump on the left side of my clavicle, but before I noticed it I remember sitting up in bed one morning and feeling a real tight pull in the shoulder. I let it go for weeks, and finally went to the doctor. I had x-rays of my cervical spine and my shoulder/clavicle. They told me I had calcium deposits, and Arthritis, Tendonitis, and Torticollis. Torticollis is a twist or stretch in the wrong direction basically.
Avatar n tn I found a hard/fixed lump/mass below my right clavicle near the center of the chest about 2 months ago and the bony tip found on the end of clavicle is larger than the one on the left side. In fact, my whole right clavicle is more visible, like it protrudes, more than the left one. I have gone to the Dr., had X-ray that was negative for fracture (past or present) and was advised to schedule a Cat Scan or MRI if is continues to bother me.
Avatar m tn She has swelling in the nodes in her neck, above clavicle and now in the groin area. She tested positive for mono in Sept of 07. Her nodes swelled then too, but not above the clavicle. I'm really scared that this is something serious...should I be?
Avatar n tn My 32 year old daughter noticed a painful bump on her right ribcage near/ under the clavicle (approx one inch down one inch over from the center of the clavicle area) 5 days ago, she mentioned she was wrestling with her boyfriend a week ago but does not feel got hurt in any way at that time. Now she says it hurts to talk, talk loudly, hurts to touch it, hurts all by itself, is about the size of a marble cut in half and will not move and is hard to the touch. Any ideas what this could be?
Avatar n tn There are small osteophytes arising from the medial end of the left clavicle, in keeping with osteoarthritis as seen on prior MRI. There is hyperintense fat-saturated T2 signal in the central aspect of the right clavicle (series 7, image 3/35 and series 9, image 7/14), suggestive of marrow edema. In addition, there is thin, linear hypointense signal in the medial clavicle (series 8, 10 and 13; images 7/14), that may represent non-displaced fracture. Suprasternal fat pad is maintained.
Avatar f tn This condition is getting very aggravating. I have had a lump on my left clavicle for 2 months. I went to two different doctors. One gave me a muscle relaxer, which was NO help. The second one diagnosed inflammation and put me on a steroid pac for 6 days, which helped with the pain in the shoulder area, but as soon as the medicine was gone, the pain came back. The lump never went away. X rays came back negative.
Avatar m tn You should have seeked the opinion of an orthopaedician and taken appropriate treatment for your problem. In cases where the broken ends of the bones have not shifted out of place and line up correctly surgery may not be needed. Broken collarbones can heal without surgery with the help of an arm support which provides support to the arm.It is important to visit an orthopaedician and get a physical examination and X-rays done. I sincerely hope it helps. Best wishes and regards!
10348794 tn?1414503126 t use it. Now, I have a lil lump on my chest, on side view, looks like I have 2nd clavicle bone, not much of big but can see the lil curveness..... Avatar f tn I also noticed a round noticeanle vein under armpit and breast,I also have a lump over my left clavicle, could that be related to it? Any advice or help would help...
Avatar n tn I have a hard lump on my right sternoclavicular joint. It has been there for a couple of months, but seems to be getting bigger. I went to my doctor two weeks ago, and he said it was nothing, just a part of the joint shifting with age. It continues to grow. I don't have a lot of other symptoms. I am always tired, but I work three jobs. I have had some slight nausea here and there, which is unusual for me. The lump is not painful.
Avatar f tn I have this bony lump above my left breast and to the left of the sternum. Its below my clavicle also. It doesnt hurt at all and doesnt seem to grow. It's just there. Can you tell me what it may be? An extra bone perhaps? Please tell me. I am only a 16 year old white female and worried about what it might be.
Avatar m tn I am in CR for CLL. Had a biopsy done on lump on left side of my neck, between ear and clavicle. Dermatologist said "He never saw anything like this before". He said " I've never seen anything like this before, it look like it has tentacles". Biopsy will; take 3 weeks for results.
Avatar n tn It is under my left clavicle, between my shoulder and sternum. Looking at pictures of the lymphatic system, it looks like it could be a swollen lymph node. Because of the location, it looks to me like it could be a swollen axillary lymph nodes (levels III?). I did some research about cat scratch disease, Hodgkin's, etc... here are some of the symptoms I have had. I have had migraines almost all of my life, and was put on prescription medicine about 3 years ago.
Avatar f tn About a year ago, maybe more, I noticed a small soft moveable lump in the right side of my lower neck, about 6 cm above my clavicle. The doctor said it was a slightly enlarged lymph node and they can flare up from time to time. So I didn't worry. Month after month and I find it is still there. I recently found a lump in my left breast on the upper outer quadrant which is best felt on when I lie on my right side.
Avatar f tn Never noticed it before but I have recently noticed a major difference in my vision (it is really blurry and i dont normally wear glasses) and I have also had the most intense itching in my scalp along with a big bulge on the back of my neck too. I cant believe none of this is unrelated since it all started at the same time. I went to my primary and I am going for an ultrasound and xrays tomorrow.
Avatar n tn Whereabouts on your collarbone / clavicle is the lump exactly? If the doc thinks the injury is soft tissue related then it would be helpful to you to see a good sports masseuse to get the muscles properly worked on before you consider anything else. Nobody has answers because the medical profession typically behaves as if muscle and fascia don't exist.
Avatar n tn All I can remember is getting up one morning, and swinging my legs out of bed and the pain hit me like a ton of bricks. I kept thinking it would go away. I waited for weeks before I went to talk to my Primary Doctor. Everyone is telling me if it is a torn clavicle or joint separation that a sling is usually the remedy. I will post on here when I get my results. I know what you are going through. I can get relief if I sit back in my recliner, and not move the left shoulder.
Avatar m tn m 24 years old and I have this large and obvious lump on my right clavicle, I can see it in the mirror, it is hard and feels bony, it is not tender and there is no pain when I touch or press it, there is also another lump on the top of my shoulder, it looks as if the bone on top of my shoulder is just jutting out of its place, I don't have any pain, but some times I get this extreme feeling of discomfort like I need to move my arm somehow or stretch, my shoulder blade also has the same feeli
Avatar n tn There has not been any complications thus far. I woke up today with a lump right on the middle of the scar, on top of the plate. It is painful with certain motions and when I touch the bump. Could it be nerve complications or a loose screw? Thanks for any help.

Avatar f tn I had breast cancer on my right side and have noticed that my right collarbone has been slowly protruding outward. The ball at the end of the collarbone feels like it is pressing on my throat. Afraid to ask my doc as I don't want to be "that" patient.
Avatar f tn Hi all! I've been treated for Hemicrania Continua for the past 2 1/2 years I've taken indomethacin on and off (due to side effects). My doctors have decided that it's just too dangerous for me to continue taking the indomethacin... I have tried many other treatments some being, melatonin and verapmil and a lot more... nothing work but the Indomethacin. They decided to try occipital nerve stimulation and 2 weeks ago I had the trial stimulator put in for 10 days....
1335885 tn?1275656669 Hello Catherine~Having an ultra sound or a biopsy will help to determine just what kind of lump it is. I had one on my leg once, and when the doc did a biopsy on it, it was just a calcified nodule, but, at least I had the peace of mind of knowing it was cancer. One another thing you might want to do is see a chiropractor, now, when I get some "lumps" they are sometimes due to my neck being out of alignment and when I get adjusted, they go away.
Avatar f tn ve read about swollen lymph nodes at the collar bone. Also, I just had an Ultra Sound of my thyroid done, and the results show that I have a swollen lymph node on the isthmus of my thyroid (the bridge that connects the right and left lobes of the thyroid), and I think that would be located near the collar bone.
